You could try this color code:

Active

Inactive

Finished (like My name is Q)

On Hiatus (when the author posts that he is on a hiatus)

Superheroics isn’t inactive, it’s just currently on hiatus until I get my CAD programs back.

That is a subjective tag in most cases, however.

For example, while there is probably no debate over the awesomeness of YOUR comic, there are some comics that have gotten good reviews I would have to disagree with. In The Playground, for example. People only like it because of the promise of their characters in it. In my opinion, it's not that good. Not at updating, nor humour, nor story. More people post and beg for it to start again as there should be.

Elrond, I hope you're not reading this, but if you are I apologize for my hateful insults.

Maybe you can start a review thread. You can call it:

The Q's Comic Review

or something catchy like that.

I was thinking about doing something like that, once. Only I figured it probably wouldn't be a good idea.

I mean, you're an artist, would you really want me saying why all your hard work sucks and how people shouldn't like it as much as they do?

Plus, that might get me an infraction.

I could probably try it in a way that wouldn't be so critical, but I should at least get better at doing artwork first.

...Unless I could get an artist.....

Any volenteers?

How about you instead have a list of comic makers who sign-up for a review on their webcomic and what they want you to review on. (i.e. Artwork, story, etc.) That way, the mods can't infract you because the artists gave consent. Plus, you should critique on instead of what's bad, on what needs improvement on, and offer suggestions.

Does that work?

I agree with this. If you make constructive critics instead of offensive ones you will be fine.

by the way...

Nice! I'll implement that immediatly!

Also: This is not an ABR discussion thread. Please don't sidetrack as if it is. (Sorry, but you ABR-ers have an entire thread to yourselves, don't go talking 'bout stuff here.)

Why don't you just copy-paste what you said in the last post to all your other posts? That would make it easier. Then someone could click on any post and end up here, instead of going to the last one.

Will do.

Hey, and if we really are going to do the whole "READ THE LAST POST" thing, we should probably get Q to do it, too. He has the most posts on there. (Like, more than half of the posts on that thread are Q's.)

It could work. Only problem is that it would be BORING. Boring to read and boring to write. Nobody wants to read a friendly, sane critic! And I wanna insult everybody!

And I would still need an artist, because I'm still not completely skilled with my new program and I don't have a lot of time on my hands.

If I got a willing artist, I'd give it a try anyway. It could be good and fun.

Those ABR threads that you listed as Inactive are actually Finished. Since no one is allowed to post in them no more, they should be considered complete. Like chapters of a book.

Yeah, I was thinking I could do that. That's what I'm probably going to do.

Either way, I think I'm going to try and do it in a funny way. Like the Zero Punctuation guy, Yahtzee. Only, in this case, in a different style of reviewing and less insulting, I suppose.

Awesome B. , in case you missed it, bentheiii (wow, what a name...wonder what's the story behind it) requested his webcomic be added to the list. It has it's own website and stuff...

You could add the following somewhere on the first post, somewhere near the top, so people will ward it better and clearer what their intention is (the fact that they want their webcomic on the list):

If you want your webcomic added to the list, use this request format: "Please add my webcomic <name with link to webcomic> to the list."

I thought I could help out with the first post, putting everything in alphabetical order, spellchecking, adding new webcomics, modifying a bit of text to reflect the purpose of the thread a bit better...just quote this post, and copy everything that is between the spoiler tags. Replace your first post with what you copied.
