So the Delphic oracle pronounced Socrates to be, and Socrates modestly made answer, “It is because I alone of all the Greeks know that I know nothing.”

Re: Test Of Spite Dungeon Direct, Special edition [3.5]
initiative Gladiator - (1d20+6)[15]
Looks like Jaya and Doc go first ... and I guess that everyone has darkvision except for Dog.
In case the icy creatures get within 15ft, they'll be tripped with spiked chain AoOs.
In case of any more creatures hiding or moving silently somewhere, I'd be glad to do spot/listen checks (as everyone in the group I guess).

Re: Test Of Spite Dungeon Direct, Special edition [3.5]
Initiative order is: party, then OpFor. Take your turns in whatever order you like. Yes, I know Tina hasn't rolled yet: her lowest possible initiative roll still puts her ahead of the OpFor.
Round 1, start.
Jaya
Spoiler
These creatures are a nasty variant of undead sometimes known as Moil zombies, after the city in which they first arose. They feed off warmth, draining the body heat of nearby living creatures to strengthen themselves. Oddly, although they inflict cold damage with their presence, they're not immune to it themselves. They're also intelligent and can speak and comprehend language.

tina'll be taking her leave of this one, activate boots of flying and move up into the air as high as she can go while Binkie activates.

spellcraft - (1d20+3)[12]
Edit:"uh... Thanks for whatever"
Gladiator casts shield and readies the chain (I guess it is already drawn, otherwise it would be now).
Again, AoO with spiked chain when creatures attempt move from within 15ft to 10ft.

Jaya will move to J20 and ready an action to cast Lightening Bolt on any hostiles that show up, assuming they are not immune to Lightening, and Scorching Ray if they are.

Re: Test Of Spite Dungeon Direct, Special edition [3.5]
Too vague, please restate your action. You have two hostiles in view already, and you aren't necessarily going to know whether any new ones are immune to lightning.

Re: Test Of Spite Dungeon Direct, Special edition [3.5]
As the party casts their spells and prepares, the two icy undead approach at a leisurely pace. The cold strengthens around you and becomes deadly, and ice crystals start forming on your bodies. As the heat is leeched from your bodies, the creatures seem to move with greater energy. One reaches Dog and takes a swing at the cat.
Through the freezing air, two more creatures appear within the radius of your darkvision, moving quickly and purposefully forward. They look like something out of a nightmare: gray hairless skin, elongated skull-like heads, and empty white eyes. As their gaze fixes on you, your skin crawls.
Attacks v Gladiator:
(4d6)[21] cold damage, Fort DC 16 half.
Two additional Fort saves versus another effect, DC unknown.
Attacks v Dog:
(2d6)[9] cold damage, Fort DC 16 half.
One additional Fort save versus another effect, DC unknown.
Finally, one melee attack: (1d20+10)[18], damage (1d6+9)[11] plus (2d6)[8] cold.
Attacks v Dok:
(4d6)[16] cold damage, Fort DC 16 half.
Attacks v Jaya:
(4d6)[15] cold damage, Fort DC 16 half.
Observers Only
Spoiler
OK, let's see where the GMF lands:
1 - right hand
2 - left hand
3 - right elbow
4 - left elbow
5 - right foot
6 - left foot
7 - right knee
8 - left knee
9 - torso
10 - head
(1d10)[8]
Gladiator
Spoiler
Your left knee feels really quick and powerful all of a sudden. You think kneeing enemies would be a good choice of unarmed strike. :P
Jaya
Spoiler
The two new creatures are called bodaks. Their gaze is fatal. They're also resistant to your fire and lightning spells, but you frankly wouldn't want to look at one long enough to take a shot at it anyway.

then, provided Gladiator is still able to:
Round 2 Gladiator actions:
Heeding Jaya's advice, Gladiator closes his eyes.
He 5ft steps to the left to IJ1718.
Then he full attacks with his stronger knee
the left ice creature, tripping it first, when it fails, he'll try until creature is tripped, miss again on 1 with 1d2)

'My daddy always said, never get into an asskicking contest with a porcupine...'
flee the room with extreme cowardlyness and hide around the courner listening to what's happening, if anyone calls for help I'll try to help but otherwise it's time to remove Tina from a fight she has no damn hope of affecting significantly.
