confused Arkenpliers' other powers

The Arkenhammer and the Arkendish both have multiple abilities in addition to the creation of units, so it might be possible that the Arkenpliers have other abilities in addition to its (admittedly gamebreaking) decryption power. The Arkenhammer's other powers are essentially unrelated to its core dwagon taming ability, and the Arkendish's thinkamancy capabilities are unrelated to its mass archon creation, so the other powers might be impossible to guess, but it might be worthwhile to try.

We know that they can destroy almost any uncroaked by hitting them. Ansom discovered this power himself. They can apparently also do some other combat moves, like when Wanda grabbed Ossomer's sword with them.

We have not seen any music, rock or otherwise, from the 'pliers. My own little pet theory is that they can be played like a harp.

And let me guess, the Arkendish is played like a DJ record?

Naaah. It's obviously a satellite radio.

If someone asks about feats for their fighter and you say play a swordsage, you're doing DnD wrong.

I always figured that the power to destroy undead was just normal artifact weapon based damage, seeing as how Ansom wasn't atuned.

No, like a Jamacian steel drum... But I like the way you think!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=reQB1Eslr5M

And all the archons do a hula dance.

I actually ment a lyre, not a harp. Like this:

I would not be surpriced if the attuned wielder of the 'pliers are actually uncroakable. Or at least gets auto-decrypted immediately upon death.

It manipulates life energies or whatever.

So it'd make sense if it was useful for destroying and creating undead.
