Homebrew DesignRoll up your sleeves and get working: there's lots of homebrewin' to be done! Post your custom creation for critiques or review those of your peers.
Use Of Material
All of this is open content for use in any campaign. I just ask two things:
#1. Let me know how it worked in your campaign. Not only am I simply curious but it helps me to balance it out.
#2. If you plan to post it somewhere else (as I've discovered some folks have) please ask my permission first.
Notes
- Critiques, suggestions and ideas are more than welcome.
- Some of these creations are old and possibly outdated, though have tried to update all. If you fear threadomancy but wish to comment on them just post here.
- A number are also part of a contest entry or a build or similar, so I have linked the page. You may need to scroll down to find exactly what feat/spell etc you're looking for.

I love it. I should bookmark this and just sift through it sometimes for content...
I also really need to finish writing my campaign so I can get back to doing my own homebrews. I miss being in this section of the forum.

Dang, I'm finding stuff I'd forgotten I'd ever made... including about two dozen more monsters.
Weel, hopefully this should fix the problem for your future self. I must say that I really liked your monstravaganza and now that all your stuff is together, I believe that I shall be using this a lot.

Let me know how their use goes.
Still got 20 pages of links of my stuff to add...

VT,
I think you are great. Your homebrew is some of the most fantastic I have ever seen. The Dying Ember campaign setting was simply beautiful, and your other creations are fantastic as well. Also, I believe the link on Ragman is broken.
Re: [Compendium] The Vorpal Tribble's Creation Thread
Ok, I hesitantly say 'fin' to this, though I know there is still quite a number of things missing.
All content is open to any and all BUT, please, let me know how their use in your games went. That's the deal.
Those of you who've perused my monster monstravaganza may want to look again on this page. Have added a good view more monsters and templates. I will no longer be updating the monstravaganza thread. All updates will take place here.

I used the Biting Wind, the Morphine Fairies, and the Insomnus in one game to shake things up a little. The Insomnus turned out to be a bit much for my players--it was intended to be tough and they were several levels under its CR, but I ended up needing to nerf it into the ground to save them. That one was probably my fault, though.
The Morphine Fairies freaked my players out for a bit--they weren't sure what exactly they'd been injected with--but other than that not a lot to say, they were pretty standard obnoxious interference monsters. I also ran with the idea of fairies in lab coats for NPCs. Because it got me wondering about some interesting things...
The Biting Wind went down pretty fast to Power Word Pain once they knew it was a swarm and that they shouldn't be using single-target effects. They assumed it was just a single air elemental at first. Against a low-level party--which it would be, it's a low-CR monster--I think it's a bit much having a swarm that effectively disguises its swarm status. Still, it was a nice way to do something a little different.

He's probably thinking of the Symbol spells.

Scarred Warrior + Tilinikan
I had the BBEG graft the plant into the Scarred Warrior who was lashed constantly unless in battle. The occasional crit would add another plant to the defenses. The players had seen Scarred Warriors before (one of my favorites, a demon is making one from every commoner he captures. Players are finding a way to reverse the younger one's transformation) but one with four extra attacks and entangling powers was shocking. I may be doing more experiments with Scarred Warrior grafting.

No the link itself is broken. I think you have an extra "[url=" in there. The link goes to the right place but when you click it it doesn't work.
