Great page.
Somehow the doctor looks like he's starving
And it's funny how easy Ben adapted to this new situation. I though he would be more freaked out.

Angels gonna bring holy powers like healing and divine patience to a hospital setting! ("I told you not to walk on it! I told you not to walk on it why are you walking on it) Guys with wings, what are they going to do? Fly around and be jerks? (Herpestidae, it's cool man, I think you're a cool dude, but so far your harpy is a jerk) It's cool Satomi we can hide our secret love letters between parargraphs nobody will ever suspect a thing
I mean, I don't wanna be a racist here, but it seems like angels have more application in a medical setting than harpies.

Don't think so. Harpies often get mixed in with Sirens, bird-like women whose song is hypnotic, and could probably be used for Anesthesia, if said Siren wasn't trying to lure you into steering your ship into a whirlpool (or something like that, my Odysseus is rusty).

Well, rocks, but close enough. The whirlpool was Charybdis.

That's what everyone thinks. Orginally they were bird women with beautiful voices that lured men to throw themselves into rough seas and die (or disappear whichever).

I'm sure I remember somewhere that Sirens stole men from the water to breed, though I'm probably thinking of another monster.

Well, the original tale with the sirens was from the Odyssey, in which they would lure men to their cove with their voice. Said cove was surrounded by jagged rocks, and said men drowned to their deaths. Other fantasy writers may have adapted the sirens to their own stories, changing your interpretations of them.

Seems to fit better with mermaids

Though I think I might actually be thinking of Harpies, though I know little about their myths, so I might have pulled that information from one of the Xanth books.

Sirens were originally bird women in mythology. This seems in part to be because of birds frequently being known for their beautiful singing voices. Later they started being depicted as similar to mermaids. This is likely due to a number of languages having the word for mermaid be quite similar to siren. See wikipedia or monstropedia for more details.

Sirens were bird women with fascinating singing voice. Harpies were bird women with horrible shrieks. Mermaid were fish women.

Then later harpies, who wanted to have exclusive monopoly on the bird woman niche, struck a secret pact with the mermaids. They shuffled secret funds to the mermaids, which used it for a surprise hostile takeover of the sirens. Ever since then, Siren Ltd. has been just a brand name for Mermaid Inc., and it is no longer present on the bird woman market as convened with Harpy Co.

There there, they're just jealous you like your character that much

You don't seem annoying to me, just eager to see your character in the plot.

Mostly, I think people have just been annoyed that you've asked every single page. I understand your excitement (I'm itching to see Steven, myself) but I think, at least for now, that a little quiet might be prudent. (At least on the Opal front, feel free to talk about the comic all you like!)

This. I can't remember the last time you posted without using her name. If I was Eladriel that would turn me off to your character pretty hard.

Very nice middle panel (4th).

Although, it kinda looks like the one near the counter is farting claps.
