Oh. Well in that case, kindly disregard the random symbols. Ermine stares up at the ceiling and the bullets plinking down around her.
"Well that'sh quite nice."
Are the random NPCs also shot at?

"Why do people have to get into fights? Why can't they just admit defeat once in awhile?" Crissy asks worriedly.
It's an ego thing. Dorotha snorts. Some people just can't back down without estabilishing their superiority. It works the same way regardless of whether they have fists, swords, magic or hi-tech weaponry.

(1: I actually do admit defeat a lot. 2: Because Riv is now an eldritch horror, due to grafting THAT CAT's appendix onto himself, so getting beaten is gonna be hard. 3: How far out do the shields extend))
With another burst of light Riv re-appears, this time with weapons strapped to every possible point. Lifting a massive gun he fires a bolt of energy at Emily.

You wake up at Seatac, SFO, LAX. You wake up at O'Hare, Dallas-Fort Worth, BWI. Pacific, mountain, central. Lose an hour, gain an hour. This is your life, and it's ending one minute at a time.
((No worries. That's just tipsy!Crissy.
...and the shields are personal shields. Ever watched Stargate Atlantis? Like the one McKay had in the one episode. Except these can be turned off. ))
Speaking of Crissy, she giggles a little at Dorotha's comment, and nods. "Yeah, really. Guess it's a 'mine's bigger than yours' thing, huh?"
Val, meanwhile, opens fire rapid-fire the moment Riv re-appears!
Let's see what the limits of Dodge Charms are. Riv says, pulling out the Time Gun. Bullets materialize everywhere around Emily, forming a rapidly contracting sphere of hot lead around her. Shoul someone try and parry the bullets they will weave out of the way, as they're homing bullets designed to avoid the whole "hide behind a rock" bit.

((Yeah. And Dorotha's comment was an IC judgement of one character by another. Not meant to be taken personally.
Also, bit of a retcon in Dorotha's backstory here... >_>))
Dorotha nods. Oh, yes. I used to see it a lot. My father owns a tavern you see, and while it's not a seedy kind of tavern where thugs and adventurers drink, you still get situations like this one.
Wenomir, meanwhile, looks around for someone not involved in the fight to talk to.

Ermine isn't involved in the fight! At least, she isn't actively fighting. She is a small ermine wearing a big and floofy hat with outrageously oversized feathers in it. Oh yes, and is getting a bit drunk from a bottle o' grog almost as big as she is.

"You underestimate," says Emily, leaping upwards, pushing off of the air as if it were walls, rising higher than the bullets, and drawing her cannon once more.
"The ExALTED!"
She fires down, the blast big enough to consume the bullets, and curves the beam towards Riv. As she does, swirling power around her forms a shimmering petal shape, like a flower of gold and bloody red.

(These bullets are folding time around themselves like origami. Stopping them with any metaphysical powers is not gonna work, also the bullets were in a sphere formation around Emily, so if you jump you'll run into them.)

Fine. Riv says, holstering the gun. As it's obvious this won't be resolved through shooting each other, let's resolve it in the barbarian way you people favor. No Exalted charms or tricks, no technological wonders invented by a genius beyond anything the Nexus has ever seen. One versus one bar brawl, no other holds barred.

Isn't it a bit much for a weasel? Yeah, he thinks Ermine is a weasel. He's not exactly big on zoology. When he hears Riv's proposal, he shouts: That's the spirit!

"No." she said simply. "You are a danger in the eyes of the unconquered sun. If you're gonna attack people in the bar, someone needs to stop you!"
...she's gonna regret this later.
(Sorry, who did I ignore? If you mean the bullet hell, the Exalted do have a perfect dodge thing, and I couldn't think of a better way of describing it. In actuality, she probably spiralled through, curving her body at amazing speed to go between the bullets)

((To be fair Morty, time-bending heat-seeking bullets ))
Ermine is not offended, luckily. Calling her a ferret would get her very riled up, but a weasel isn't such a big mistake.
"Ermine. Me name and me shpeshies. And no, me-finksh ah can hold... shomtin."

Crissy nods, looking wide-eyeed at Dorotha. "Really, he did? Wow, I guess this place must kinda seem like home then huh?"
A bit, yes. But Taverna Generica feels more like home. She pauses. I'm not sure if I miss it at all...

Whatever you say. I'm Wenomir.
((I meant the perfect dodge thing. It's fine to resist other people's stuff, but it's not very nice to have it completely fail to work at all. Not a big thing, just something to keep in mind.))

(Ooooh. Dodging is her thing, when/if she gets hit, she'll get hit bad.)
Also I apologise for her knight templarness atm... she only got this persona recently, not used to it.

{{Perfect Dodges do carry disadvantages. For example, she can't use any of her other Exalted powers for a few second- she's putting everything into defence, essentially. Also, they can only be activated when certain conditions are met- varies from dodge to dodge.}}

"Oh."
Crissy pauses.
"You wanna go there then maybe?"
"Ah. An' what do ye do 'round 'ere? Imma... Imma wreck an'na pirate."
Ermine sways a bit. I think she may have been lying when she said she was okay with that amount of alcohol.
((Time-bending heat-seeking bullets are completely fair. Hehe. ))

(Sorry forgot, he suddenly has a whole lot of holes in him. Still not dead tho. Also, time-bending heat seeking bullets are completely fair, as they will actually kill HIM if someone makes him mess up.)
Fine Says Riv, pointing and clicking the gun from various angles. I'll just go kill some random people because you wouldn't take my generous offer. Or you could fight me here, on the terms I metioned, and I'll swear never to kill an innocent again. Of course, to make the stakes even, if I win I get a sample of Exalted magic. I'll give you one last chance to accept.

((*waves hand* FFRP, not Exalted. No matter the loopholes, they do allow to just say "yeah, no" to an attack.))
((Also, dodging doesn't have to be a binary thing. She might dodge an attack but still get scratched, bruised etc.))

I just hang around waiting for things to happen. This bar brawl is promising, but I don't like joining them in the middle.

I don't want Exaltation, and you're a walking example why, I want a sample of the magic you people use, even the tiniest amount would work, all I want to know is how it ticks.
