"Oh right, my bad. I'm Sakura Frescot. What's your name?" The dryad sets down the bundle of clothing and bag she'd been carrying. She suspects it'll be a bit before she leave now.

"My name is Mathias. I am here as an angent of the High Heavens to eradicate evil here."

[Gullara]

Sakura blinks at that. "Oh, really." She says hesitantly. While getting rid of evil is all well and good, it's the word eradicate and the violence it implies that makes her a bit uncomfortable. "So, are you here about that then?"

[The Bushranger]

No thanks, I think I am just going to sleep for a week or until my player gets internet at home.

Amelia smiles and goes to hug Shawna.

I know I keep saying thanks a lot but I probably would have just been sitting on the ground bleeding if not for you. So I owe you one even if you don't think so.

Shawna smiles back, returning the hug warmly.
"It was the least that I could do, Amelia. All that I ask is that you pass it on should you encounter someone in your state and you are in the position that I was."

It seems that yet another hopeful Watchman is heading towards the tower. She is a woman who looks more like she belongs in a winter sports competition than in a group of adventurers. She's a little over six feet tall, and has short blonde hair and golden eyes. She's also carrying a couple of sacks with her, in addition to the backpack she's wearing.

"Well, when you are better we can resume talks about armor, I have attained some very strong materials, Thanks for opening the door for us. Hopefully a member ca accommodate us, I believe it was the priestess Mia that attended to you when we last parted ways. "

Serph ends his speech while element just murmurs something inaudible.

"M'not sure who can help, t'be honest..." Says Cornelia, glancing around the main room. She steps inside, then turns a bit too hastily when she hears footsteps. The gunsmith adjusts her bandanna and studies the newcomer. Tall woman, and quite pretty too. "Oh. Hullo. Do ye work here?"

Hildur steps back when Cornelia whirls around to face her. She looks a little shy in general, and pulls at her heavy jacket. "Ah, no. Hopefully I will be, though." If Cornelia is particularly sensitive to magic, she may be able to tell that her voice isn't quite human. Although her voice sounds normal for the most part, it carries a certain power with it.

[Asha'man]

The duo notices Hildur.

"Applying for membership as well?"
Asks Serph.
"If so you may have to wait awhile as we are."
continues Element.

"Yes, I am here about that. I'm not here to kill everyone--everyone's done something bad at some point. I'm here to eliminate those who continually and with diliberate purpose cause harm and make the Nexus a worse place to live in."

"Oh, well this place is all about protecting the Nexus from big threats." Sakura walks after him. "So, I guess that has something to do with what you want to do."

KR coughs as authoritatively as she can, hoping to say "Don't worry, I'm here and I'm going to take care of everything" without having to actually expend the effort to actually say it.

Wenomir stands behind KR, but unlike her he actually speaks up.
Welcome to Watchtower. What's your business here?
He's a tall man with pale skin, dark brown - almost black - hair, pupilless red eyes and scars all over his body. He's wearing a loose, black sleeveless shirt.

Cornelia's blind eye is quite capable of seeing magical properties. She narrows her good eye at Hildur, but avoids seeming hostile. "Yah. I'm new 'ere, but I dunno how to sign up new members. Whatsyer name?"

When KR and Wendy make their presence known, Cornelia turns to face them. She raises her brows at the pair of them. "Oh. Hullo. These three wanna join."

Hildur steps forward towards KR and Wenomir, nodding to them. "She's correct. My name's Maarsukaal. I'd like to join Watchtower." It still felt a little strange for her to be using the Name she inherited some time ago, but she was getting used to it.

Yes it is as Cornelia says, me and my partner have come to apply for membership in the WATCHTOWER. My name is Serph and..

Training Ring

Even before she moves, Pat knows she's likely going to lose. Even without the variables, she was simply too new at this, and her blade was much shorter than Wenomir's. Not only that, but this body's relatively unworked muscles were beginning to ache from the fight with Harnel.

Even so, she resolves to do her best.

She darts forward suddenly, leading with her right foot as she stabs her blade high, nearly at his neck level as she pulls back her left hand to make a fist at her side. To Wenomir, the stab is probably obviously a feint for her to step forward with her left foot and aim her fist at his jaw.

Wenomir folds his arms across his chest. Well, that's... quite an influx of new members. And it looks like the girl who he thinks is Boris's girlfriend has joined as well. It would be great if Watchtower had a little more to do right now...
I see. Welcome to Watchtower, then. With so many of you here, we might think about performing a group admittance test...

[Training Grounds]

Wenomir remains still for a second more as Pat makes her move. When her sword nears his throat and her fist is about for his jaw, he suddenly springs into motion like an uncoling spring.
The swordsman takes a light step backwards, then to his left, nimbly dodging the punch, and just as he ends his evasive manuever, he immediately raises his sword, attempting to intercept Pat's blade and push it aside. Wenomir will then quickly change his grip on the hilt and thrust, trying to lightly nick Pat's neck.

Serph replies to Wenomir.
"Well you can consider me and Element as a single unit. We will not function at 120% efficiency when we are separate due to some circumstances I can't disclose at the moment."

"So where will you test us Sir.....?"
Element can't complete that as he did not get Wenomir's name.

"Oh, well this place is all about protecting the Nexus from big threats." Sakura walks after him. "So, I guess that has something to do with what you want to do."

Mathias nods and stop walking.

Excellent. Is there by any chance a guild of some sort dedicated to fighting evil? I would employ their services. Or at least join them in their cause."

"Alright. What do I need to do?" Hildur asks. she puts her sacks down on the ground - they were starting to tire her arms.

Harnel will have spread the word about a certain deal he made with remnant not too long ago. At this point he's been gathering people to talk to about it, and anybody that is a member at Watchtower can be here. He'll be standing near one wall so that everybody can look at him and be addressed, as they sit on the couch, stand, pull up a chair, or what-have-you.

"Alright, so, I spoke to Vasquez at Remnant a while ago, and I feel it's important that you all be made aware of what it was about," the half-dragon begins, "The vast majority of us are capable fighters - that's not in question. Part of what we lack, however, is cohesion as a group. I was raised in the military, my father was a general, and I spent my whole life coordinating with a group to get things done. we lack that sort of dynamic - eveyrthing we've done so far has been a bunch of people rushing into a fight, breaking things, and hoping for the best."

"Because of this, Remnant has agreed to train us and provide us with additional equipment in exchange for a few things i'll be providing for them and aid during large scale problems, which is what we're dedicated to dealing with anyways."

"For the most part, we don't really have a set time we need to go down, but I was going to head over to their Headquarters shortly and wanted to know who wanted to come along."

"Um..." Sakura thinks for a moment. "I guess there's HALO? I don't really know about them. I've heard that's what they're about, but I've never heard anything about what they do specifically."

Well, with that information, KR looks for the gnoll city. Though really, that information didn't help. The gnolls just told her that there was a gnoll city, not where the gnoll city actually was, which is kind of what she was hoping for.

Still, she looks, and eventually finds it. And then zooms in. And then zooms in. And then zooms in. Until there's probably just a bunch of clearly visible gnolls around the city doing... whatever it is gnolls do. And they all have wings.
"Well, damn."

I'm Wenomir and this is KR. You will all need to pass a test to be accepted as Watchmen Initiates, Wenomir explains. Then you will become full members upon participating in a Watchtower mission... He pauses. If you'd just follow me to the main room, one of our members has said something about a project.

"Um..." Sakura thinks for a moment. "I guess there's HALO? I don't really know about them. I've heard that's what they're about, but I've never heard anything about what they do specifically."

"HALO.....Where could I meet these people?"

Serph and Element will follow Wenomir's lead into the main room. They will also take in the surrounding area, so fluff text would be appreciated.

"Um, all I know is they have some kind of place underwater somewhere." Sakura knows very, very little about HALO. Mostly because she hasn't heard of them doing much.

Hildur nods and picks up her bags again, following Wenomir into the main room. She wonders what sort of project this could be.

Wenomir leads everyone to the Main Room, just in time to hear Harnel's announcement...

Count me in. It sounds like it could get some results. I've been thinking about something related, but I'm not sure if it's the best time to bring that up.
