Phantom of the Opera Werewolf III
Many years after the events at the Paris Opera House, a group of friends and some enemies have gone to a mansion off in the French countryside, to reenact the famous story of the Opera Ghost, with some people acting as the parts of the Phantom, and others the heroes of that affair. This looks to be an enjoyable vacation. What, some people who aren’t not on the guest role are here to? Great, now we have a few wild cards in this game.
Welcome to Phantom of the Opera Werewolf III. As mentioned by the intro, while most of the roles and rules are the same, there is a small group of secret roles throw into the mix. Of course, the stuff of the opera are the main setting, but just remember, there’s a few twists in this.
The Roles:
Good Guys: Win when all wolves are dead, extra win if both Christine and Raoul are alive at the end of the game.
SpoilerChristine Daaé: The rising star of the Paris Opera, and the love of both the Phantom and Raoul. Day Baner with 2 day cooldown, extra win condition for wolves
Raoul: The Viscount de Chagny, patron of the Paris Opera house. He is able to protect himself and others from the Phantom's wrath. Baner
André and Firmin: The new managers of the Opera house, they know each other role, but if one dieds, the other goes with him. Partners/lovers
Carlotta: The prima donna of the paris opera, and is very jealous of Christine's sucess. Vain and self-focus, she thinks that she can tell the real identity of people, but she is not often right. Fool
Police: The police summoned by Raoul to trap the Phantom. They know each other. Masons
Cast: The cast of the opera house. They just want to survive this madness. villagers
Madame Giry: Head of the ballet, she knows about the Phantom, and the opera house, and with this being the night of the Seer
Wolves: Win when other roles are equal to number of living wolves. Extra win: Christine lynched or night killed.
Spoiler
Shadows: The hiding places of the Phantom. wolves
Head of Fire: A firely head, that wanders the opera house. Its eyes of fire can see the identity of people. Devil
The Phantom: The Phantom of the Opera himself.
Alpha, special: If lynched, the role of the Phantom moves to a shadow.
And one more thing, please roleplay. There are no cost for not doing so, but it tends to make the game a bit more fun.

Re: Phantom of the Opera Werewolf III
Excerpt from the Journal of Byers de Pittsburgh, Scenery and Props Expert
... the absolute worst first day of production it has been my displeasure to be a part of! The mansion itself is beautiful, but completely ill-suited for the task ahead of us. It will take time to get things in order, and the older architecture will lead to several scenes occurring without everyone present. How can I block a scene when there's not enough room for everyone to fit in the bloody room?!? I may need to consider moving certain scenes to the lawn out back, and get creative when recreating the atmosphere of the original play.
And now we have missing props! Someone has lifted Raoul's sword from the prop room (for the time being, I have a plain yet serviceable replacement for him, but it's the principle of the matter!). I have my suspicions, of course. After delivery of my props, but before I could arrive at the mansion myself, Lex-kat was alone for a time. I must keep my eye on her...
OOC: Pointing at Lex-kat because she was in the recruitment thread before me; unfortunately, in day one there's not much to base a point on. Sorry, Lex!

Re: Phantom of the Opera Werewolf III
Fleeing Coward, for running around like a chicken with it's head not cut off.
And as requested, some role-playing.
Christina Debachuex unlocks the mansion doors. Well, here we are. She steps into the quiet and dusty old home. It hasn't been lived in, in years.
She turns to the others. So what do you think? she says with a smile.
Christina is a young woman, 19 years of age, with a happy personality. She comes from a rich family. Which should be obvious, being that they own a mansion that they can allow to be neglected.

Re: Phantom of the Opera Werewolf III
Gabriel was lagging behind, the speakers being way too heavy for his thin frame. Gabriel is an easygoing man in his mid twenties responsible for the soundeffects, soundtrack and everything sound related. He double checked all his equipment once again, it'd be very hard to reenact a musical without the music.
Speakers, check. Cables, check. Discs, check. Microphones, check. His treasured headphones, check.
Adjusting his cap and putting his headphones on, he picks a music to listen while working and trails off to set the speakers, oblivious to what happens around him.

Re: Phantom of the Opera Werewolf III
Leta is a disgruntled old lighting man. He looks suspiciously at the crate of equipment he's bringing into the house. He kicks it for good measure. (he wasn't moving it in the first place; he decided to take a rest by the front door about half an hour ago)
"Time was, we would use candles for this sort of thing." he said sadly.
He looks up at the house. He can't find anything else to complain about, and that makes him even more disgruntled.
He doesn't trust any of the other members of the cast or of the crew. They all seem to be... enjoying themselves. Leta shudders at the thought.
"Raistlin1040 seems like a bad sort to me." Leta mutters to himself.
Then again, EVERYONE seemed like a bad sort to him. So there was no way to be sure.Last edited by Leta; 2010-12-29 at 11:52 PM.

A woman comes in, her hair mussed and tangled, her shoes dirty. I swear, I'm going to fire that driver one of these days. Without stopping to introduce herself to anyone, she heads back towards the dressing rooms, intent on claiming the largest for herself.Spoiler

Re: Phantom of the Opera Werewolf III
Byers pauses while moving a few chairs into more optimal position. Truth be told, the mansion did make a great location, but he'll be buggered if he admits it. A good scene is made by the crew, not by the natural ambiance. Otherwise, what need was there for the crew in the first place?
He can see music and lighting both here, and on cue... yep, that last is definitely an actor. She is probably on her way to score the largest dressing room she can. Phew, actors.
Pausing, he calls out to Leta, "Hey, if I set up this scene to catch the north wall, will there be a problem with the lighting?" His tone suggests there better not be a problem with the lighting, but a magnificent backdrop that's poorly lit is worse than a properly lit plain backdrop. That northern wall really was built for being in the scene, though...

Michael was extremely interested in doing this reproduction. As he arrived at the house he spotted a diva heading into the house in a huff. “Well she is certainly getting into the role of Carlotta” he mutters to himself. “At least I wont be in many scenes with her and have to take her temper for long.”

A thin figure opens a large storage box. He examines it closely an stares at leta and then byers.
"You two can deal with the stage for now. I'm going to fix that stairs to the dressing areas. We don't need the chorus falling and hurting themselves. Wont be long."
He pulls a small box out of the larger one. The box rattles with the sound of metal and glass clanging together as he shuffles to the back.Gitp's No. 1 Cake hater

Eh, time for roleplay later.
Reinholdt is always a good first point in PotO
"This is why it hurts the way it hurts.

There are too many ways to describe the way you feel.
You will never have the luxury of a dull ache.
You must suffer through the intricacy of feeling too much"

Re: Phantom of the Opera Werewolf III
End of Day One
As the equiment is set up, the hidden director watchs from the cameras. He has parts to cast, and the first part up is Joseph Buquet, the man who is the first in the story to die.
Having made up his mind, he goes to reach for the intercom button, but spills his hot coffee on his lap. And with that distraction, he looks closer at the list of people supposed to here, and there's someone here who isn't supposed to be. He has a few people go and remove the uninivited guest.
Summary Fleeing Coward was lynched, he was Fastidian, a secret role.Last edited by ThePhantom; 2011-01-01 at 01:04 AM.

Re: Phantom of the Opera Werewolf III
End of Night 1
As the director sits in his chair, one of the people here starts practicing for their part.
"Poor fool, he makes me laugh, hahaha haha haha."
Then the director looks at his pta, and spots a memo from the man he contracted to play the phantom. After reading it, he sends a note to the practicing singer that like the role they practiced, the phantom has targeted them, and they are required to wait in the private games room until the events have played out.
Summary Murska was sent out of the running by the Phantom, he was Carlotta.
