The Good League of Good is an organization devoted to the redemption of evildoers. All of our members are either good aligned or trying to become good.

FAQ:

1. What's the point? Isn't there already a good aligned organization? Why didn't you just join HALO?
   
   OOC, we have nothing against HALO. (IC may be a different story.) However, we wanted an organization that only allows good-aligned members and focuses on the redemption of evildoers. If the real world can have multiple organizations for the purpose of doing good, we don't see why the forum can't hold more than one as well.
   
   
2. No seriously. Aren't you just a HALO clone?
   
   Not intentionally. We have our own purpose and our own mission, which overlaps somewhat with HALO's, but is not identical.
   
   
3. Why don't you let anyone post in the main thread without PMing first?
   
   OOC answer: Honestly, we tried it, and it was too chaotic to read.
   IC answer: You don't let strangers wander into your house at all hours, do you? We just want to know who is in our house.
   
   
4. Still, it seems awfully rude. You've offended a lot of people.
   
   We're sorry. We didn't mean to.
   
   
5. What's the point of the visitor's centre?
   
   We still want to play nicely with others! So we set up the visitor's centre thread to provide an IC access port.
   
   
6. Are you part of the Town? Or are you in an extra dimension?
   
   We didn't really know at first, but when AMEN contacted us, it seemed clear that we inhabited some sort of reality with AMEN and HALO. Which means we aren't Town. I think. (Really, we're making this up as we go along!)
   
   New answer: Everyone's a part of the town, but the rules are different here, Town laws do not apply. ACRONYM rules do. So respect the rules, and we will all get along just fine.
   
   
7. Will you be interacting with the other groups?
   
   Yes, but we haven't worked out the mechanics yet. We're officially at war with AMEN, but we don't want random fighting going on in our headquarters. So we might be setting up a war thread or a plot thread or something, but we don't know yet.
   
   As far as HALO goes, we have no formal ties with them, though there is some membership overlap, and we're currently in discussions. IC, some of us have formed a negative opinion of HALO. It doesn't mean we have a problem with you OOC. (Honestly, Turtle isn't the brightest crayon in the box, and she's very defensive about being a former evildoer.)
   
   We interact with other groups quite a lot, though the war with AMEN has come to an end.
   
   
8. GLoG is a pretty silly name, isn't it?
   
   Yes. Yes it is. One of our founding members used to belong to the Evil League of Evil (If you haven't heard of it, google 'Dr Horrible'), so when she turned good, it seemed reasonable to form the Good League of Good.

Some areas of the base are DNA locked and alignment locked so that only members with no evil intent can enter unescorted. These include the Security Room, the Armoury, the Detention Wing, and the Artifact Vault.

Artifact Vault - Set next to the Armory, this is where GLoG's major artifacts are stored. The door is DNA locked to members only.

The Brightheart
The Brightheart is a plain orb, set upon a stone plinth labeled 'The Brightheart'. Also on the plinth is a note that says:
'Do Not Remove. Ever. No, not even then. (But maybe then.)'
The Brightheart itself glows with inner light, and throws up a positive energy blanket of moderate strength (heals most surface wounds, and makes undead sick) a few meters in radius. Touching the Brightheart results in having a large amount of positive energy run through you (heals all wounds, and drives undead to near death). Inside the plinth itself is a gate to the Negative Energy realm, which draws off the excess positive energy from the Brightheart. Should the Brightheart be removed, and taken away from the base without the necessary preparations being made, two Very Bad Things^TM will happen.
A) The Brightheart's positive energy will not be siphoned off, and so it will be returned to full strength, throwing up a powerful positive energy blanket about a kilometer in radius, and killing anyone who touches it, living or no, through sheer positive energy overdose.
B) The gate to the Negative Energy realm will become unstable and tear, creating a giant Negative Energy rift in the middle of GLoG.

The portal between GLoG and HALO is still open, providing instantaneous transportation between the two organisations.
But anyone passing through it arrives outside the front door. If they've already been cleared (previously interacted with GLoG without hostilities), they can walk straight in without having to roleplay out knocking on the door and so on.

First time visitors, or people who have previously caused trouble have to wait for someone to undeadtime to decide whether they can enter the building (GLoG), or not.

Sunny cowers during all of the sonic blasts and crashes of breaking stuff, and even when it's over, doesn't want to show her face.

Butler looks up. Vidalia was here the whole time after all. He gives a small smile and moves over to her. "Hi Vidalia ma'am. How are you Vidalia ma'am?" Vidalia probably notices the bounce of excitement that's usually in Butler's greetings is missing.

Butler!!!! Vidalia jumps at him and tries to wrap him up in a hug.

The only reason I say tries, is because she's still blind and may have mis-judged the distance to him.

Also, she won't notice the bounciness gone quite yet, because she's just overwhelmed to hear him there.

A drone floats in carrying a torn and mudsplattered backpack. It has a hand-painted sun on it that is the same design as Sunny's tattoo.

Statement: Evidence found within this backpack suggests that it may be the property of the unidentified patient known as 'Sunny'

Sunny is still crying, and doesn't respond to Butler, but when she hears the drone say her name, she looks up.

Vasilisa, tired and dirty, has just returned from a long day of administering antidote to afflicted npcs.

[Reinholdt]

Butler will move to make sure she catches him and wraps her in hugs. "I'm glad to see you too Vidalia ma'am. And that you're doing well Vidalia ma'am. I got your letter Vidalia ma'am. I'm happy to hear you still love me Vidalia ma'am." He... sounds happy? A little.

[Lex-Kat]

I'm so sorry I hurt you Butler. You and Decker are two of my best friends. You were there when no one else was. She begins to cry.

Then she pulls back a little. Did a drone say something about Sunny's backpack?

Judy approaches Vasalisa. Um , Vasalisa, would you like some water or something?

"Thank you, Judy. I'd appreciate it." Vasi looks emotionally shattered.

Judy gets Vasalisa some water, quickly returning with it. Here ya go.

"It's alright Vidalia ma'am. Honest Vidalia ma'am. Just so long as you're happy Vidalia ma'am." He looks over.

"Yes Vidalia ma'am. It has the same picture on the backpack as her facepaint on her neck Vidalia ma'am."

As Vasilisa takes the water, she looks around at the wreckage left in Astir's wake. "He was here."

Sunny stares at the backpack a moment more before getting to her feet. "Sunny want! Sunny want!" She lunges for the backpack, her expression fierce and determined.

DC is in the great room, scowling as he stares at the spot Astir once was.

Well, maybe if you or she looks inside, we can get some answers as to who she is.

"Certainly Vidalia ma'am. What is an ID card Vidalia ma'am?" He goes to take the backpack and hand it to Sunny so they can go through it together.

Sam walks up to Judy. Hey, are you doing all right?

I'm not sure, Butler. I've never had one myslef.

Sunny snatches the backpack from the drone before Butler can get to it. She immediately sits on the floor and starts pulling things out of it, which get divided into two stacks. In the smaller stack is a wallet, scraps of receipts, a zippered pouch that contains medication, and a few miscellaneous girly items. If Butler wants to look through this stack, Sunny makes no objection.

The larger pile has a notebook, a spaghetti snarl of wiring, and several plastic cases of various sizes. Anyone attempting to touch any of these will have a fight on their hands.

Sam blushes and looks away. I guess I'm all right, a little sick though...
Somebody else.

Butler probably tries to help with one stack, until seeing how adamantly against it Sunny is, before switching to the other stack. He'll tell Vidalia everything that he sees. Even read off the receipts if she'd like.

It didn't take him long to figure out Comet lied to him and Vidalia is not alright and can't see.
Huh. Butler figured something out. Who saw that coming?

Then looks back to Sam. Mint and I have decided to move out of GLoG. It's too dangerous to have raise a child here.

Vidalia will listen to what Butler tells her, and depending on where the receipts are from, may indeed ask him to read them more thoroughly.

Yeah? She looks back up and nods. Dani and I were talking about doing the same thing too. My friend in HALO knows a lot about demiplanes, and he says we can just stay in one for the duration, you know?

Most of the receipts are too water damaged to be readable. Those that are mostly mention electronics.

Butler will find an ID card in the wallet, with a picture of Sunny on it. The lamination is damaged on one end, which caused water to seep in and smear some of the writing, but he can see: "Name: Aurora Fe......"

Vasilisa starts helping the drones put the Great Room back in order.

DC approaches Vasilisa.

Butler conveys this information to Vidalia. Maybe she knows what it means. Clearly this card is mistaken though. This girl's name is Sunny! She said so herself.

When Butler reads the ID card aloud, Sunny shakes her head. "Not Aurora. Sunny!" See? Butler was right!

She goes back to examining her plastic boxes, most of which are lined in foam and contain various microchipy looking things.

Mint and I have moved into an old members cottage. I figured Annalee wouldn't mind, since, you know, she's dead.

Then Judy turns to Vasalisa. Um, do you have anymore of that potion left?
