As to a preference between post and thread, it doesn't matter much. Some people like to see the discussion that took place during a homebrew PEACHing.

When you have multiple homebrews in the same thread, and you want to submit them, post multiple entries, with each entry separated, even if the links go to the same place. This will help people as they browse the Compendium to find what they're looking for.

Yeah. I split up the Teleporty stuff into three though that's the only offender I see. Even the feat links are strictly themed. One contains archer feats, the other duelist (the archetype!) feats.

Which of course means I'm about to be flooded with submissions.

Seriously, I'm getting ready for my board exam, and I'm pretty much going to drop off the face of the earth come June or July. If anyone would like to help with this project, please PM me!

I will say this: it makes it MUCH easier for me (and therefore much more likely that I'll get it up in a timely manner) if you format your submissions like I've asked you to.

Submissions should take this form:

Category

A Name: Brief description. [Your Name]
B Name: Brief description. [Your Name]

Note that nothing has been bolded, italicized, or put into any colors. Note also that they're in alphabetical order.

If you're unsure, go look at the Compendium for examples.

In addition, if you're submitting a spell, submit it like this:

If you don't tell me what kind of spell it is, I have to go and actually open your thread and search for it, which takes time, which means I put off updating this thing longer and longer.

If it fits into multiple categories, please submit it multiple times, and if you have multiple items (like a race and a PrC) in the same thread, please submit them as two separate items with two separate categories, even if they're the same link.

Here's the deal: since first starting work on the compendium, I've started clinical rotations. That means I work 80 hours a week. That means I come home, see my wife for about an hour and a half, and then go to bed.

So, if someone else wants to work on keeping the compendium updated, send me a PM and we'll get things done. Until someone else steps forward to keep it updated, the compendium will not be updated. I might be able to take up the work again in November or December, but definitely not between now and then.

All that to say, the Compendium 2.0 is not dead. It's just on Pause until one of those two things happens. Keep posting submissions, and they'll get posted one day.
