Whee, people are getting wedding invitations! A little last minute because a certain player forgot. People will either find them on their doors or given to them by a cheerful dryad. Aside for the specific people that get one, there's a general invite to Watch members if they're interested in coming. How nice. So, here's the list of specific invites.

If someone's not on the list and should be there, well, that's what the general invite is for! As for the contents of the invite, it takes place just a bit outside Watchtower's walls. Can't miss it. The date and time is of course [insert date and time here]. And since that's pretty useless OoC, it's Friday, aka tomorrow. I told you it was last minute. There will be a post up in the Serious Plots thread sometime. There'll be plenty of time for people to post there before the actual ceremony starts.

The door is answered!

By the twelve foot orange worm-collective who is currently covered in 'spiritual armor'.

Dar hums as he looks down to see who it is. Well, hopefully looks down. If Dar has to look up, that's probably bad news for Watch.

Dar has to look... down.
In fact... there doesn't seem to be anyone there at all. Just one small golden ring sitting there on the ground.

It appears someone rang the doorbell, dropped the ring and ran.

[Barracks]

Harnel smiles, "Nah, we were pretty much finished here," Harnel says, "Vutha, this is Adir, my best friend. Adir, this is Vutha. She's a dragon with amnesia, so I'm just letting her know how to get back on her feet."

Vutha makes a step to the side so she doesn't stand behind Harnle from Adirs view. She starts to make a small bow, but stops immediatelly when she realizes what she is doing. For her Description see the Link.

"Hello." she sais in a thone a waitess would welcome the friend of her master

"Well good to meetcha." Adir says, waving his hand once. The stag smiles between the two draconic beings. "She joining?" His attention returns to Vutha. "Anywho, a friend of Harnel's is a friend of mine. I'll be around if you need help adjusting or whatever." Adir hasn't the slightest clue how to handle amnesia, but Harnel seems to be doing a good job.

Dar stoops.

And stoops.

And stoops, until he's reduced to about half his usual height. With surprising dexterity, the Hunter seizes the ring between two huge metal fingers and studies it ponderously.

As Dar picks up the ring, it begins to glow an angry red color, sizzling like iron being heated in some infernal forge, ashen gray smoke pouring from the silver band. Despite this though, the ring's actual tempature doesn't rise a single degree, remaining ice cool even as it crumbles to ash between Dar's fingers, leaving a scent of burning candles, brimstone and lightning lingering in the air.

The cloud of smoke left behind, rather than simply dissolving into the air, begins to swirl about on the doorstep, forming into a miniature whirlwind of smoke and embers. "Salutations, mortal. I am ifrit, spirit of fire and storm, bound forever to this ring. Two wishes are your prize, for claiming that which is my prison." A voice booms from within the maelstrom, sounding distinctly like a rather mundane voice being distorted with the help of an amplifier.

Dar looks at the whirling, firey dust-storm. The giant grows ever more confused.

"Wwwishes. Mmm..." Dar barely understands the word as it is. His ponderous nature might annoy whoever's behind this little show. "Hmmm. What should I wish forrr?" For all his faults, Dar is fairly content. But perhaps there is one thing. "Could my brother, perhaps, be returned to meee?"

"If you wish your brother brought to this place, if that is your wish, simply say so and it shall be done." The whirlwind of ash replies, continuing to spin about. Doesn't really seem to do much else, actually. As for whether it's annoyed, well, that's anyone's guess.

"I wish my brotherrr was here?" Dar says confusedly. He can't help but wonder if this is some sort of local joke.

Ilpholin returns, for wedding related purposes. She intends to wear the same dress as last time, of course, so goes to try it on. Hmm... something seems to be off. But what?

She heads back out in that dress and goes looking for Sakura, though given how busy she is, will probably run into someone else along the way.

Gate => Hallway

Ariel walks back through the gate to the place that she temporarily called "Home". She's obviously distracted by a few thoughts, with her tail swinging back and forth slightly as she walks to keep her balance. She makes her way inside and gives a sigh before she flops open one of the books in her arms, reading as she walks. She literally bumps into Ilpholin and stumbles back. "Oh, sorry. Excuse me."

"Hey! Watch it!" Ilpholin says, brushing down her dress and making sure it's ok. The wedding's tomorrow! She can't have her dress ruined.

She pauses to look at Ariel closely and tilt her head slightly, looking at her. Then tilting further to look past her at the tail. Then back at her.
"Do I know you? Are you new member here?" She seemed... familiar.

Ariel smirks a bit at Ilpholin's glance at her tail, so she swishes it back and forth a bit to see if it keeps her attention longer. "I'm just staying here for a bit. Not a member yet I think." She admits. "I'm Ariel." She says, offering her hand.

[Reinholdt]

Hmmm... that tail. Ilpholin watches it for a little bit longer.

She doesn't take the hand though. Amazing how many people she'll press up against while naked, yet still won't shake someone's hand.

She does however, give a slight curtsy.

"Ilpholin Xar'Cha. Nice to meet you. Are you here for Sakura's wedding?"

"And so your wish shall be granted!" The voice roars. Out of the blue sky shoots a lightning bolt, which slams into the ground only a few feet away, scorching the earth and setting the plantlife nearby in fire. And in the center of the miniature crater, unharmed by the rather unusual method of transit, should be Dar's brother, in whatever state he was in before being summoned.

Pretty fancy for a glorified teleport.

"I came for other reasons, but I wouldn't miss it for the world." She says honestly. "I was pondering what to wear myself though. Any suggestions?" Ariel asks.

"Welllll..." Ilpholin says, looking her over. "I can think of a few things. Gotta see what you've got first though. Got a guest room here?"

Nope, that's one of the few things he can't do.

Sides, even if he could, he wouldn't have. Das wanted his brother to be brought "here", and that's precisely what he got. His brother, in whatever condition he was in before the wish, only a few feet away. If said condition is "dead", well, not the ifrit's fault.

"I just bought my clothing recently. Mostly things like this, but I have a few others sets for different occasions." Ariel admits before leading her to the room that's been given to her. On the way, she can't help but give the occasional teasing swing of her tail, believing that Ilpholin would be watching.

Ilpholin does indeed seem focused on the tail. Mmmm... dragons had a good tail. Most demons did too. That one looked extra nice.

"Well this is what I plan on wearing to the wedding if that's any indication." Ilpholin offers. "But if you want to try things on, I'll be happy to tell you what looks good on you." She says, her voice a bit more husky and suggestive than strictly necessary.

Poor Dar. He's so unfamiliar with these things.

When the lightning retreats, a large pile of armor is all that sits there. It contains the last earthly residue of Dar's battle brother, given the rest rotted away some time ago.

Dar simply looks at it, confused, perhaps. And, judging by his mournful moan, a little depressed. He plods toward the Forerunner armor and kneels beside it, staring at it longingly.

Ariel's Room

"I expected nothing less." Ariel says with a slight smirk. She goes to her closet and begins pulling things out, tossing them onto the bed one after another. Most of its similar to what she's wearing at the moment, if only different colors, patterns, and lace, but there's a couple slinky dresses, a negligee, and a robe. "That's just about everything."

"Your first wish has been granted, mortal, may it bring you great happiness." The ifrit intones, and almost entirely disguised by the too-loud voice and the whirling of the vortex, there's the sound of faint snickering. The ifrit, being a big meany, has no pity for Dar whatsoever. "What is your second wish?" The voice is just slightly mocking now, just the tiniest bit condescending.

Ariel's Room

Ilpholin smiles and points out one of the more conservative ones. "Let's try that one on first." She fully intends to make Ariel get dressed and undressed several times, each time moving from conservative to 'my imagination is no longer needed'.

She sits on the bed to watch the show.

No doubt the two go at it for quite a while. Ariel's quite unbashful or shy in front of Ilpholin and laughs quite a bit during it all. She'll see that Ariel's skin carries a slightly pale blue/purple tint to it where it doesn't see sunlight all to often, and she moves with a somewhat unnatural grace and ease. Of course, she's part daemon, so that's expected.

She'll need her guest's help with the corsets at some points, but in the end, sits down next to Ilpholin with a laugh, wearing just the nightgown. "Thanks for the help." She says before reaching up to try and give her shoulders and neck a massage.

Dar can't catch such small things. He's not quite that accustomed to this speech. But if it gets any more obvious...

"I wish he were givennn a proper burial." The Hunter intones. Just seeing the armor... even that is difficult.

Ilpholin lets her do it!
Really? You will do just about everything BUT shake hands Ilpholin. It's just downright sad.

She is, perhaps a bit surprisingly, given her condition, quite tense up there. She admittedly has a lot of stress in her life. Curtains are her primary release valve, though in some cases they add to the stress. End result is, that she melts into the message with a moan.

"I do so love to help a poor woman in distress about her lack of clothes."

"I'm sure. You should lay on your stomach and relax." Ariel suggests with a smile. If Ilpholin does so, she'll begin to work her over slowly. As she continues the massage, Ilpholin will feel her fingertips alternate between hot and cold. "If you're always this tense, I'll probably have to do this for you more often."

Ilpholin does not hesitate to lie down on a bed.
"Mmmmmmmmm... I could definitely go for this more often. You'd have to stick around though or something."
