The tendrils fly out, spreading into a three-part grasping shape. And start to fall. Then the canteen falls into a pair of outstretched hands, and soars back up, straight towards the approaching ship. The impact alone tears off half of a wing, and the tendrils coil around the craft, locking it in a cage of water and ice. It can barely stay in the air, and, as the tendrils tear into it, begins to fall.
And with that, the pursuit of the ship is ended. At least, as far as they can see. One damaged ship is limping away, one has already crashed, and the other is dropping fast.
Far away below and behind, Raziel's poor battle canteen tumbles towards the ground.
"Whelp. There goes the canteen. We will miss you, battle canteen.
Well, until I get a new one. One of the many benefits of access to Malfeas is a supply of materials and drinking water. Kimbery may be the only ocean, but she isn't the only lake."

(Dammit, I thought I'd posted yesterday morning but apparently the post didn't go through.
Drake takes the note but doesn't say anything, instead just taking it into his pocket with the practiced dexterity of a stage magician. Some buttons to press. Interesting. But right now they have more stressing things at hand. Thankfully, Dancer's intervention helps Raziel turn the incoming aircraft into a nonissue.
"Thank you Dancer. And it seems that the guys on guns took care of the others. So I guess we're scot-free for now. Holy crap, we actually pulled it off.
Now to figure out how we make this **** go up in flames on command. Can someone go up to the deck and ask the guys for suggestions on where the hell can we hide this thing until we figure out how to turn it into a missile? I think it's going to take a while and I doubt those were the only flight-capable units in Faffles's army"

"The lower bolgia, if we could somehow reach them unseen. Which we cannot."
Masquelaughs, just barely, at Raziel's words.
"In full control again? You are. Dari, perhaps. No one enters the Mists who wants to come back out. Maybe west, into the Black Crescent, though. I fear this ship would crush the jungle canopy like twigs. Hardly hidden."
"I need a goatee to stroke in a thoughtfully menacing manner. What if we hid the ship among our enemies, so when the Lion's forces come for it, they fight each other?"
"Because usually you don't give your enemies weapons of mass destruction?"

"Yes my home for many year. My tribe explore jungle many generations know many secrets. In middle there blocks" Dancer pauses looking for the right words and seems kind of frustrated. "Argh.. Need..." At this Dancer grabs a piece of wood and begins to gouge out clawspeak runes with the claws on his right paw/hand. He takes a second piece of wood and carves a rough map of what he is describing with his other hand.
There are three places I know of that could hide a ship this size. The first is a set of ruins in the 130 miles from the western edge and 50 miles north of the mountain range east of Gem that is a remnant from a race of reptile people. My people occasionally frequented this ancient city and we knew of a massive tunnel in it that leads to a cavern that could house the ship. The second is a lake my people call "Dark Water", this is the nearest equivalent outside my native tongue, about 270 miles Northwest from those mountain ranges. The third is a ravine named "Devil Snake" roughly 400 miles north of the "Dark Water" that is wide enough that it would be feasible to get it under the canopy of the forest enough to hide it."

"We could disable or remove the weapons, and let ourselves be seen taking it to the enemy. I'd be willing to bet the Lion is pissed as Hell right now, his forces might come charging in to get the ship and start a fight all on their own. Or if that fails, we could send him a message boasting how unassailable our camp is, how he could never muster the force to take his ship back."

"As it is, I'm tempted to go with Dancer's suggestion if we don't crash it, like Drake wants. I'm not sure we can take that risk, or master the writing style of an enemy to an extent the Lion buys it."
