True. But the reason Ichigo associates "feeling upset" with the rain is because of the day of his mother's death.
Don't forget Orihime, Hanatarou, Rikichi, Ryuunosuke, Shino, Hiyosu, Tsubokura, Aoga, Kanisawa, and I could go on but the point has been drilled into the ground already.
Having a name doesn't mean you matter.
I'd just like to point out that, UNLESS I AM MISTAKEN, you didn't mention Ishida in that list.
Which is funny, since even the manga has forgotten about Ishida IN THE ARC ABOUT THE QUINCY.
The mangastream translation has it as: "It's hard for me to water the plants if others are watching." Still cheeky, but it references his earlier lame of excuse of being there because he was looking for a place to pee, and from the context it's still pretty obvious that he's telling them to leave for their safety.
No, I got the joke, it's just... I had no idea how to react to that panel.
