Zwei grips her cane until her gloves make a creaking, stretchy noise; her eyestitch twitches and starts to leak her almost-black blood.
She grits her teeth audibly... then shifts her jaw and there's a popping crack.
Oh, gods.

Karyana growls, and her form begins to change.

The rockets keep flying on them. It's rather confusing to look at them since they seem to draw cyrcles behind them.

Ashley is less impressive. Still biting back tears, her hands seem to freeze solid

A solitary man walks to the restrained child, torch in hand. He's solemnly chanting, but the words are hard to make out.

If he's far enough from the girl that him dropping the torch won't put her at risk, a quill should go through his skull.

Karyana's eyes are glowing like coals, and are back to their normal color.

Zwei spits out the broken molar. There's no blood; her teeth, it seems, are not natural ones.
She kisses Ashley's cheek, rubbing her back.

A quill does go through the man's skull. He falls to the ground, occasionally twitching. The rest of the mob looks around in shock, and notices the trio. They fly into a rage, raising various farming instruments.

Ashley doesn't respond to Zwei kissing her cheek. Instead, any present torches have frozen, their fires extinguished.

Karyana launches more quills at each of the ones holding farming implements, shouting "What harm did she do you?"

Zwei lets them both go.
Ladies, do excuse me.
She walks forward, spinning her cane as it shifts into her signature tulwar. The other hand is wreathed in flame.
Let's see how you [censored] like fire, mm?

She hurls a fireball at the people farthest from the girl.

As soon as Ashley is let go, she turns invisible, rushing toward the child at the stake.

The people can hear cries of 'witches' and 'kill' but they should go down pretty easily. They're farmers, not soldiers.

Zwei is a whirling, slashing, screaming mistress of destruction, licking blood from her face as she vents her rage.
It's honestly terrifying.

Karyana pretty much tries to rip the next two or three she kills apart, tearing out throats, shattering ribcages, etc..

Those after them, if there are any left, won't be as lucky. They'll probably end up dying from infections, as she's trying to crush arms, shatter knees and elbows, and splinter legs.

Althought a few people are still standing, they're mysteriously getting stab wounds that seem to appear out of nowhere.

Meanwhile, that stake is just a stake again. Untied ropes lay on the ground, and footprints lead in the direction farthest away from the village. It seems the child managed to escape.

Zwei yanks her tulwar out of a head, ripping it in half.

She's bloody and tense and...
A nightmare in and of herself.

It's about this point that Ashley reappears, hands and dagger both very bloody. She looks at Zwei, with a grim look on her face.

Zwei stands up, smiling sweetly at her.
And splattered with blood.
Hiya sweetie.
Feeling any better?

With a simple muttering, Ashle is no longer covered in blood. She smiles as well. "...Yeah. Loads better."

Zwei sweeps a hand over herself, her fingers wreathed in pale flame; the blood steams off.
She sticks her sword in the ground and goes to kiss Ashley.

Ashley had already been closing between the two of them, and is kissed without difficulty. Her hands wander around Zwei's back.

Mmm...
I think I may like violence too much.

"That's okay, Ashley replies softly. "I enjoyed that as well, honestly."

Maybe we'll get some nicer dreams in your head tonight.

"Just maybe," Ashley says before trying to kiss Zwei again.

Zwei smiles.
It's nice to watch people sleeping, especially when they're having nice dreams.

Ashley smiles back, saying, "I bet it is. I wouldn't know, of course. Since I'm the sleeping one."

She'll sit down with her, possibly holding her in her lap if Ashley is smaller.

Though Ashley isn't small by any means, I think she's still smaller than Zwei, so the illusionist ends up on her lap. She tries to sling her arms around the death knight's neck. "So, what do you want to do now?"

The big thing might be pushed off of by Zero in order to move more quickly. It seems like Zero is not very worried about the sharks.

The thing is pushed away. It doesn't seem to have enjoyed that very much. The shark that was brushing against Zero attempts to bite his leg! The area around where the surfer-girl fell explodes into a pillar of salty water as the surfer-girl punts one of the sharks out of the ocean and into orbit!

Yep! That surfer-girl is probably one of Valaira's missing shards!

"Alright. We'll do just that." Ashley leans in a little closer to Zwei, closing her eyes and generally looking happy.
