"Vinnie" is a mistake. It should be "Vinny," sorry. We need to set up a corrections thread so when we go to lay out the book, we can hit them all and update the archives as well.

I'd guess the error was in the previous picture.

So it seems; thanks. There was much ado made of that picture and the idea that he was somehow half-vampire (whatever that might mean) was almost common knowledge.

The idea of his being a half-vampire originated because of the single fang (er, could Vinny be described as snaggle-fanged?). He looks better with two pointed ears.

He looks like a vampire, but I think we've hardly seen any true vampiric activities (he hasn't sucked blood through his fang, to my knowledge). I would agree that he appears to be some kind of vampire or based off vampiric lore, but he also hangs out in the sunlight and seems to be the nice guy on the "noble" team (I refrain from using "Good" as that's being debated in other threads).

Much ado or not, all other instances when his left ear is shown, hinted at or profiled, it is pointy. Mistakes happen.
