exploit Cutthroat Novice?

Multiclassing to "Cutthroat" offers one really weird ability. The encounter powerswap power, Sudden Retaliation, could let you add the Weapon keyword to an Implement power -- not replace, just add. Has anyone ever (ab)used that in a build?

Not seeing where it gives the weapon keyword?

Did a bit more digging, if you're working off of funin.space or the original offline compendium, the Weapon keyword was added erroneously. The original publication just has Rattling.

I'm using the Portable Compendium. I've seen plenty of formatting errors, but I didn't even think of the program having incorrect data. Well, that makes for a disappointingly short thread, but I'm glad the power makes sense after all.

There are a lot of errors in the portable compendium. Which is perhaps only to be expected, given that there are tens of thousands of entries in it, but still, usually a good idea to check the original publication on something if the compendium entry seems off in some way. That said, a guy I know did make a patch for it that fixes some hundreds of incorrect entries, so that's a useful thing to grab if you're going to be using the compendium.

Most of the errors derive from the online compendium, so it’s not really a surprise.

Mnope. I thought maybe the problem was my old browser, but I tried another with exactly the same lack of results. I also tried signing in, but that didn't change anything.
