Or maybe it's an ancient telephone booth that works like the one in Bill and Ted!

So I have no power. Flooding destroyed the transformers to my house. Don't know when I'll next get a chance to post. Sorry. (We're all safe, just no electricity)

Oh dear. Well, I'm glad you're safe. Let us know when things are up and running again.

91% of DMs started their first campaign while wearing pants. If you're one of the 9% that didn't, copy and paste this into your signature.
On reflection, it is a little silly that this is apparently one of those "do random things until you figure out how to get farther" dungeons. WotC likes those. I would've revamped it, but I'm terrible at dungeons.

Well it doesn't give enough clues to do something not random. The clues are enough to point you at turning the sarcophagus but that's it. To tell you the truth if we were really in there, I think most of us would go "A, no exits, seems this is it. Let's go for a beer!"
Well, Thrae in particular was sent here with a particular purpose that includes disturbing as little as possible, which was part of the problem. I think she needs to be less responsible.
I hope you have a way to deal with swarms, folks, because otherwise this could be very nasty. Initiative, please, and I'll whip up a map shortly. The swarm is currently occupying Strigz and Wei's spaces, and the other creature (Knowledge: Dungeoneering to identify) is about ten feet away from them.

I guess an initiative would help huh? Dunno how I forgot to do that... Initiative - (1d20+2)[22]
- he who hesitates goes first

I know I'm still waiting on Corbin, but I'll speed ahead a little bit here. THEChanger, feel free to take your skipped action when you post and I'll retroactively include it -- it's probably not going to finish off either target this round, no offense.
Spoiler
Swarm reflex vs. twister: (1d20+3)[23]
Wei fortitude vs. acid: (1d20+4)[17]
Swarm damage: (1d6)[1]
Acid damage: (1d4)[1] (cut in half, but minimum 1)
I forgot the initial fortitude rolls vs. nausea, so don't worry about it. But in future turns, bear in mind that anyone starting their turn in a swarmed square must make a DC 11 fort save or be nauseated for a round.
EDIT: Oh my. That's enough to drop Wei, if I'm not mistaken. Welp, I'm sure Thrae will get a Lesser Vigor on him before he bleeds out.

Thrae, does the whirlwind count as an AoE? It would cause 50% more damage to the swarm if it did.
It does, yes. I mentioned that in my post even, so I assume that the damage was tallied that way. With the nat-20 on the save, it's still just 4 damage, though.
