Yeah, I'm a bit puzzled about that, too. Not all metals are magnetic--in fact, I'm pretty sure the ones that aren't well outnumber the ones that are!

If anything, the metals magnets don't stick to are totally unironic.

Woah! I never thought my reference to the Giant's "Does not stick to Wood" would get so much talk!

So everyone will have stone and bone weapons. I wonder if Dark Sun version of this strip will be the amount of Iron Ore.

Dim Sun Speculation:
This scene, except the starmetal will be Iron Ore (since it is rare).
Belkar and Durkon gnawing on bone swords (Dwarves and halflings are cannibals in Darksun).
Mad Max references.
Shojo could be badass sorceror king, and his nephew Hinjo.Badly drawn helmet avatar drawn by me.

Re: The Post-Kickstarter Discussion Thread: Bask in the Afterglow
Well, maybe if the wood made a little bit of effort to woo the magnet... Give it compliments. Take it out on a date. Offer small tokens of affection. Maybe then the magnet would be attracted to it.
But how do we really know that the wood wants the magnet to be attracted to it?=^..^=

Has everyone else gotten their Kickstarter order form?
I haven't gotten it yet and I'm getting pretty worried.

Re: Has everyone else gotten their Kickstarter order form?
Well, what did you order? By my understanding, only certain orders will have had their form by now... for example, I am on the D&D party pledge, so don't think I should have received one yet.

Re: Has everyone else gotten their Kickstarter order form?
Anything that had a autograph or a drawing hasn't had a survey sent out yet. Probably other catagories as well.
To see if you should have had a survey but didn't get it for some reason, go to the Kickstarter Drive page, check your pledge level and see if it says something like this at the very bottom of it:
Survey sent: XX/YY/ZZ
With XX/YY/ZZ being the date it was sent.Concluded: The Stick Awards II: Second Edition
Ongoing: OOTS by Page Count
Coming Soon: OOTS by Final Post Count II: The Post Counts Always Chart Twice
Coming Later: The Stick Awards III: The Search for More Votes

I ordered the $78 one - DStP and I was going to ask for WaXP. I'll go check the Kickstarter page, thanks.

Re: Has everyone else gotten their Kickstarter order form?
That survey should have gone to you last week, so you should check the email that is attached to your Kickstarter account (especially the spam folder). If you still don't see it, there should be a link at the top of the screen for you to complete the survey when you log in to Kickstarter. Hopefully one of those two options will work for you.

Re: The Post-Kickstarter Discussion Thread: Bask in the Afterglow
Signed book surveys are out!
I made sure to mention in the comments that I put in the extra for adding a signed book on top of the two the pledge comes with anyway. Hope that All goes well there.

Anyone else have issues like me where you recheck the survey six times to make sure you got everything right?

Re: Has everyone else gotten their Kickstarter order form?
Alright, I intentionally DID NOT fill out my last survey, just to see what it looks like on Kickstarter when one logs in.
THIS:
Is what one should see at the top of all Kickstarter pages. If you see that, then you have a survey that needs to be filled out.
If you don't see that, then a survey hasn't been sent to you, or you've already completed it (like I am about to ).Last edited by Porthos; 2012-03-12 at 11:17 PM.

Re: The Post-Kickstarter Discussion Thread: Bask in the Afterglow
And I derped in the survey. Said yes to extra coloring book when I meant no.
I hope a message to Rich on Kickstarter can sort it out.
