"Well," Naku says, shaking her head slightly at the speed with which the thread managed to move in one day, "you're welcome to stay here until you find a job, and if you'd like to work here, we can arrange something.
Just come talk to me whenever you're free, if you want." She says, standing, and heading back slowly over to he station behind the bar.

Cerise is a ghost, so most of her color is just white, but what little blue in her eyes and hair is reduced to a dull grey. She doesn't mind though, nor does she even seem to notice. "Ah. So it's sorta you and not-you at the same time? Are you separate now?"

She flicks her eyes in the direction that Tavlii looks, spots Sasha, and waves cheerily from her position in the anti-color girl's arms. "What happens to your individual self when you go back into the super... consciousness thing...?"

"Sort of. I am someone else, that includes me. I am. Just Tavlii. It took a long time to figure out how to be separate again, at first." The color-draining girl, of course, doesn't notice that it's going.

"It sort of melts away. It is a bit like falling asleep, and waking as someone else."

Tavlii nods to Sasha as well. "Hello!"

"And you can tell him I'm not a mad shcientisht, I'm a culinary artishan!" Chutney is delicately spooned onto the meat, as the crackling tesla coils are slowly brought down to a simmer. "Now get me a plate and arrange thoshe lemon rindsh and ginger over there into shomething delicate sho we can plate thish shucker."

"I'm sure, but I think we should wait until after I eat." he says, although with Colin in the kitchen he's really just talking to himself.

Well Marty did tell him he doesn't go hunting, but after that he said it several times to the others.

Sense him in what way? The shadow makes no noise or heat. A magical sense could do it, but since the shadow is close to the real one it would require a bit of skill in this term.

She leads the taller girl to a table, pulling a chair out for her.

The alchemist sits, grinning right back. So, what'll you have, y'think?

"Don't know for sure yet," Hildur says, grabbing a menu to look over. "Roasted quail sounds good."

Thryza nods, reading hers. Ooooh, it does!

"Yeah, I think I'll have that," Hildur says. Then someone appears at their table asking about drinks. "I'll just have water," she says.

Thryza shrugs with a smile.

"I'll be having a roasted quail," Hildur tells Colin, putting her menu down.

"Hmph." Throwing a few finishing touches onto the plate to make it look all fancy and stuff, Strahd shoves the finished order into Collin's hands before he can rush out the door again. "Thish'sh quail with lemon marinade and a garlic rub, with a teeny little dash of tomato chutney. Make shure you relay any and all complimentsh to the chef."

He hands the finished quail to Mist with a quick "be right back" before heading back to the kitchen.

He fills up two glasses of water and delivers them to Hildur and Thryza before sitting back down with Mist.

Mist takes a long whiff of the cooked bird smell before starting to cut himself a slice and digging in. He tears in pretty fast. I guess stabbing monsters and getting stressed about it makes you hungry.
