Ally looks at both Garth and Ashley and decides to talk to the one who doesn't look like they could swing her around with one hand. She takes a seat next to Ashley and smiles cheerfully. Hey there. Don't see too many people come to a bar and drink water. I'm Ally, what's your name?

Nobody wanted to talk to the big burly fellows anymore. Garth mulls it over whether or not to buy the young ladies some drinks.

[Devixer]

Ashley also smiles. Ashley. I would drink the potent stuff, but it tends to interfere with things. Namely, when she was drunk, she wasn't quite as good with her magic.

[FireFox]

I can understand that. Although Ally doesn't have anything better to do right now then get drunk. Have you been here long? I just arrived and I'm honestly having trouble settling in.

[Devixer]

"Oh, I just got here a few hours ago, actually," Ashley replies. "I don't even know where to start."

[FireFox]

The young woman nods sympathetically. Well, so far I've been to these two different groups. In the forest there's this "Good League of Good" that does charity and healing and stuff. Under the ocean there's this HALO place that fights Evil. Neither are my cup of tea, so I'm still looking for opportunities.

Ashley thinks a little bit. "Neither of those sound like they'd be that fun. I was just thinking of exploring this world while I tried to find some things."

[FireFox]

Oh yeah? I'm kinda the same, what with wanting to explore and learn more about this place. So what'chu looking for? I'm good at finding things. Like how you "found" that NPC's purse, Ally?

[Warpfire]

Alamar, having dozed off briefly, suddenly awakens. He's rather drunk at this point. He looks around the room, while trying very hard not to fall out of his chair.

[Devixer]

"Materials, mostly. I'm always thinking of spells, so I like to have extra stuff." Ashley gulps down the rest of her water, asking for another glass.

[FireFox]

Wait, you're a spellcaster? Ally's eyes widen and she takes a closer look at Ashley. No way; you're too cute to be a wizard.

[Devixer]

"Yeah," Ashley says with some pride. She looks a little confused when Ally leans closer. She soon blushes and giggles a little. "Thanks, but it's true."

[FireFox]

Hmm... No, I don't believe you. The redhead shakes her head and orders another glass of ale. Prove it, then.

[Devixer]

Ashley thinks about just how to prove her status as an illusionist. "Okay," She says as she grabs some sand from her bag. She drops it on the bar, between the two of them. "Can you look at that for a few seconds?"

[FireFox]

Ally nods, curious now, and looks at the sand.

[Devixer]

Ashley says a few words under her breath. The sand will start to shift around, and Ally will see the image of something she likes in the sand.

[FireFox]

Ally starts in surprise as she sees a glittering red diamond. Damn! By the Dog, you really can use magic!

[Devixer]

"Told you." Ashley resists the urge to stick her tongue out. Instead, she just gathers up the sand again. "I hope I don't get any less cute."

[FireFox]

That's okay, we all have our flaws. Ally teases the illusionist with a smirk.

[Devixer]

Ashley giggles again. "Like thinking cute people can't use magic?"

[FireFox]

Hey now, you can't fault me for that. All the spellcasters I've met have been old men in bathrobes with bits of guano stuck in their beards. She grins and drinks her ale.

[Devixer]

Ashley laughs after drinking still more water. In my defense, those are guys. Have you ever met a female spellcaster before me?"

[FireFox]

Ally has to think about that for awhile. There was one I saw, a few years back. Ran a street gang, she did. But she smelled like rotten eggs and burnt hair. Had an ugly overbite too.

[Devixer]

Ashley laughs again. "Well, maybe I am an exception for you."

[FireFox]

Or maybe you just use your magic to look cute. Ally smirks again.

((But I'm off to bed now, sadly...))

[Devixer]

Ashley smirks. "Fortnuately for both of us, it's all me."

((Night!))

[Zefir]

Fade is still sitting around looking what is going on. He shakes his head as all the things happen, like the dagger flying at the cat.

"This tavern never get's boring."

[Lost_Deep]

A dwarf steps in. He has grey skin and a black beard, leather armor and a mining helmet. A heavy pick hangs at his waist, and his eyes glow blue.

Deep dwarf. Don't see many of those on the surface.

[ThirdEmperor]

Suddenly, a song begins, the sound coming from just outside the tavern door.

"One, two, three, four...
Hrmm!
One, two, one, two, three, four!

With that, the door is kicked open, revealing two men standing in the doorway. The older of the two is a dignified looking half-elf, his hair dyed silver, who flashes the occupants of the bar a dazzling smile as he steps into the tavern, playing a jet black guitar in the shape of a thunderbolt.

"Let me tell you how it will be;
There's none for you, twenty for me.
'Cause I’m the Star,
Yeah, I’m the Star."

The half-elf sings, his feet tapping on the floorboards to the beat of the song. Electricity crackles around his guitar and a dozen disembodied silver gloves appear in mid-air, flying around and snatching up valuables from the NPCs in the tavern, who seem mysteriously willing, even eager, to hand over their belongings.

Should zero per cent appear too small,

if you drive a car, car; - I’ll take the street;
if you try to sit, sit; - I’ll take your seat;
if you get too cold, cold; - I’ll take the heat;
if you take a walk, walk; - I'll take your feet.

The half-elf does a spin, winking at the various female occupants of the tavern, his white business suit covered in hypnotic spirals catching the light like a mirror as he does so, making the noose he wears around his neck like a tie stand out even more in comparison.

[Mindfreak]

John Note stands next to his father in his green suit with his deep green hair slicked back. He had been singing a steady note in the background, causing the NPCs to become hypnotized and gladly give their valuables. When his dad began to collect the loot from the hypnotized NPCs, the Maestro held out a large burlap sack with a dollar sign on it for the money to be dropped into. When his dad finished his piece he caused the people to sing.
(By this point all NPCs will begin to sing:)
"The Star!

'Cause he's the Star,
Yeah, he's the Star.

Don't ask him what he want it for, (ah-ah, mister Wilson)*
If you don't want to pay some more. (ah-ah, mister heath)
'Cause he's the Star,
Yeah, he's the Star."

John held his cane up to his lips and began to sing, causing his voice to come out of the music notes on his suit.
"Now my advice for those who die, (Maestro)
Declare the pennies on your eyes. (Maestro)
'Cause I’m the Maestro,*
Yeah, I’m the Maestro."

By now most of the people will have given up their valuables and start taking valuables from those not effected, such as the PCs.

"And you're stealing for no one but me.*

Maestro!"
