Re: ABR Discussion Thread XXVII: The Plot Pandemic
Liek I said, we don't stay on topic long enough to debate.

Re: ABR Discussion Thread XXVII: The Plot Pandemic
See, this was supposed to be 'banter only'. So just DON'T MENTION PLOT THERE. It's that simple.

Re: ABR Discussion Thread XXVII: The Plot Pandemic
We just mention whatever we think of... we don't decide anything that isn't posted here.

Re: ABR Discussion Thread XXVII: The Plot Pandemic
Incorrect - we post things here for debate. As proven time and time again. And "Not mentioning the plot" at all is near impossible, because the conversation may drift there of its own accord. We still do not make important desicions without posting them here to be talked about, so both points are moot.
Check the Wiki in my sig, there's a comic archive in there somewhere.Last edited by Darklord Bright; 2009-10-04 at 08:24 PM.

Re: ABR Discussion Thread XXVII: The Plot Pandemic
Which is why we decided on the IRC.
The recent debate over Guinoids is a good example of all of this. It started in the IRC but It was brought to the discussion thread for people to actively discuss and decide on. The Abr banter was brought over to the thread, and the random chat ranging from dreams to half life 2 stayed in the IRC.

Re: ABR Discussion Thread XXVII: The Plot Pandemic
It's there to get rid of all the Random discussion. All the relevant discussion is put here.

Re: ABR Discussion Thread XXVII: The Plot Pandemic
No, it's not. It is that simple. You seem to want it to be though, and that's a different matter entirely.
The whole point of the IRC is to remove the off-topic stuff from this thread so that we don't need to make a new one every two days. It is doing that admirably. The "ABR discussion thread" is for ABR discussion, as it was intended.

Re: ABR Discussion Thread XXVII: The Plot Pandemic
Anything important is posted here, and subject to poking and prodding, just like always. And if you want to debate a point, jsut bring up apoint you think needs debating.

Re: ABR Discussion Thread XXVII: The Plot Pandemic
But we don't really mention the plot. We might bring it up once or twice, but we don't have huge discussions about it. Shut downs are not necessary. When someone starts talking about something important it is posted here for discussion. Is it really that hard to comprehend?

Re: ABR Discussion Thread XXVII: The Plot Pandemic
And now it's time for Bum Reviews, with Xartyve. 2. Bum...
Tonights review: The Chronicles of Novaris Comic 1-25
"Oh my god this is the greatest comic I've ever read in my entire life! So there's this auction, where this top hat guy with four arms is selling a giant purple gumball!
Hooray!
But then these guards are like 'You must not sell this gumball!' and they attack! It's okay thought because we have outward opening doors on our side! The bane of all gumball hating guards!
So then all these people show up, like this tall one that looks like Imhotep and this short one that's a red goblin... sorry, Kobold! And then theres the ghost of christmas past! Except he's green! Must have had bad thai food, and he... or she... I don't really know, hangs around with this gold cloaky person called... Goldcloak! Original!
So there's fighting... and talking... and fighting. And then someone breaks the gumball! Noooo!
Delicious sugary goodness, it was not meant to be...
And inside the giant purple gumball was a giant purple ameoba! With googly eyes no less! I see giant purple googly eyes amoebas a lot. Y'know before I sober up. But then this one person, seals it up inside a giant blue bouncy ball!
What is this comics obsession with balls? Wow, that sounded dirty...
So then the gold cloak person and the sick ghost of christmas past are argueing and they're like.
'We should do something!'
'Should we do something?'
'We should do something!'
But then this one girl jumps out a window, and then this short guy jumps out the same window and then this tall guy is like 'Why is everyone jumping out of windows?' and I'm like 'Dude shut up! I'm supposed to point that stuff out!'
And then there's this group walking along a plains and they get captured and they come up with the best escape plan ever! One of them turns into an elephant!
That's inspired!
So two thumbs up for me for a wonderful read. This is Xartyve 2 Bum sayin CHANGE!!! You got change! Aww help a guy out will ya? C'mon change!
(Seriously though CoN was... pretty good if a little confusing)
Next Review: TJH Episode 1.

Re: ABR Discussion Thread XXVII: The Plot Pandemic
We do. But we hardly need to. Nobody really talks about the plot, except, you know... general stuff.

Re: ABR Discussion Thread XXVII: The Plot Pandemic
Listen, I've already pointed out that even after the argument, you keep trying to stretch it on, and what do you do in response? Exactly that! Seriously, I'm trying to save you from embarrassing yourself as much as I am trying to end the argument, but it isn't working, so I've had to outright state the issue rather than allude to it in the hopes that you get it...
