Kal sits down, sprawling on the chair in the sort of offensively careless slouch that would make any sort of upright, proper folk pop their monocles in shock and horror.

[Reinholdt]

[Ilpholin's Office]

I say!

"Well I want to thank you for coming. Since you're here, I take it that you're interested in what I have to offer."

"AMEN has been riddled and bogged down with spies, counter-terrorists, and people whose personal goals have run counter to this organization. Obviously some are better than others and I need someone suave enough to handle finding these tumors and rooting them out."

"I'd like to place you in charge of Internal Security here at AMEN."

Main Room

Moff sulks in the Main Room, jealous that Kal went to spend time with Ilpholin first thing.

"He should have come back for me."

[Ashen Lilies]

[Ilpholin's Office]

Well that's a shock.

Kal considers for a moment. But then... he realizes that there is something more important to him.
"I refuse. I've just realized that there is something more important to me." He says.
Then he stands up, and bursts out of the office, sweeping dramatically into the Main Room where he picks Moff up in his arms and carries him off for some mad curtaining.

"Internal Security, huh? Sounds like a big job. What make you think I'm qualified?" Asks Kal lazily.

[Reinholdt]

[Ilpholin's Office]

I wonder if Moff and Kal just shared fantasies somehow.

Ilpholin smiles at him.

"Who said anything about you being qualified?"

[Ashen Lilies]

[Ilpholin's Office]

"Oh, so it's like that, is it?" Says Kal. Conveniently forgetting to mention exactly what 'that' is. Because his player sure as hell doesn't know.

[Reinholdt]

[Ilpholin's Office]

"Errr... well, no not really. You have several talents situated to the job, up to and including the ability to competently talk to people without it devolving into violence. An admitted rarity in these halls at times."

[Ashen Lilies]

[Ilpholin's Office]

"Oh." Says Kal. That's substantially less exciting!
"Alright, then. I'll... uh... take the job, then."

[Reinholdt]

[Ilpholin's Office]

"Of course, there is always the necessity of needing someone who can also fight to destroy those routed out as bad for AMEN. I trust you can handle it." Ilpholin adds with a slight nod.

"But like everyone else, you're going to have to fill out a form and be interviewed... thoroughly." She says, pulling out a sheet of paper and sliding it over the desk to him.

[Ilpholin's Office]

"Oh dear." Says Kal dryly. "I should warn you, however, that I am quite skilled in counter interrogation and have been trained to resist many forms of torture."

"I'll be sure to be creative with the torture then." Ilpholin says, taking the form and looking it over.

"Says here devil-blooded human. So you aren't just a pure devil then?"

"Nope." Says Kal.
"I'm only one-quarter devil by birth, with a negligible amount of Earth Elemental from my father's side, but I've screwed that all up mostly by being a soldier in Hell and being exposed to diabolical medicines and artifacts and dying once and being resurrected and stuff." He explains.
"Also these fancy gloves give me most of the abilities I should have if I were a full-blooded devil of my type and stature, except for some of the obvious ones, like shapeshifting."
He waves his hands around slightly.

[Reinholdt]

[Ilpholin's Office]

"I can understand that." Maybe more than Kal knows.
Maybe not.

"So why were you first sent to the mortal realm?"

[Ilpholin's Office]
"Not really 'sent'. I just got bored of being on the front lines all the time so I took an extended vacation." Being, essentially, the Prince of Succubi has its benefits.
"If I can damn a few more souls in the process, that's just a bonus."

[Reinholdt]

[Ilpholin's Office]

Its... friends with benefits.

"So, you're heir to a powerful warlord, hmm? Will you eventually be taking his spot over then? How does that work?"

[Ilpholin's Office]

"No." Says Kal, waving his hand dismissively. Or trying to come across as dismissive.
"That kingdom was razed a long time ago. Mortal concerns, anyway. I'm only loyal to the Nine Hells."

Front Door >> Main Room

A portal opens near the front door and a swan with devil horns flies out. She transforms into her humanoid shape, revealing Decker as a young adult.

She walks in like she owns the place and picks up a form to fill out.

"Of course. And the Nine Hells primary concern is in souls, yes?"

And there's a knock. Better not be that annoying robot again.
"Excuse me." Ilpholin opens the door.
"Yes?" She asks Decker, mentally trying to place where she might have seen her before. The door is wide enough that Decker could slip inside if she wanted.

Ilpholin's Office

"I came to do the whole interview thingy so I can stay here during my break from school. And I could smell hellfire, so I was hoping Kal was here. Hi Kal!" Decker says. Of course she slips inside, so she can give Kal a hug.

"From this world, pretty much." Says Kal.
And then a WILD DECKER appeared! A younger one and an older one than the Deckers he knows. I think he's used to it at this point.
"Hi Decker!"
*hugs*

[Ilpholin's Office]

Ilpholin sighs a little. So much for a special private interview with Kal, once all the business was taken care of.

She closes the door and returns to her seat.
"I take it you know each other. And you would be... who?" She asks the WILD DECKER.

Ilpholin's Office

"I'm Decker, here to confirm my membership and spend my summer vacation here. Probably fool around with Kal some before we have to do the whole official political marriage thing and start making heirs." Decker says.

[Reinholdt]

[Ilpholin's Office]

"So are you both from the same Hell circle?" Ilpholin asks, looking at the forms. A part of her is busy trying to wrap her head around the idea of using a future of leading armies as past experience. Oww. Brain hurt.

[Ilpholin's Office]

"No. My realm is the First Circle."

"We're from the same Hell though. I know there are other places that like to think of themselves as themselves hell, but ours is the one that matters." Duh.

"Uh-huh." Well she'll be sure to tell all the other hells they don't count if they come gunning for her.

"It says DC might have made you join AMEN? Is that the psychic from Watchtower DC?"

[Ilpholin's Office

Of course. Especially the ones ruled by incompetent ninja doctors. Or the ones that are spelled incorrectly. Hell is spelled with two 'l's! Two!

Kal is silent. He's just as confused as Ilpholin. He's not familiar with ancient Acronymia history like his player is.

Um, maybe? It hasn't happened to me yet so I'm just going on hearsay..... Oh blessings and salvation! I gotta finish this later!"

The last part of that comes after a text message which seems to have Decker somewhat alarmed. She opens a portal to Hell and vanishes through it.

"Bye." Says Kal, waving to Decker on her way out. He's used to that, as well.

[Reinholdt]

[Ilpholin's Office]

"... Well that was random." She'd have to make note to have Squiggles make some sort of... anti-strange purple glowy thingy device in any very important rooms.

This one didn't qualify though.

"So.... where were we?"
