The arrancar frowned as he handed Ruwa a bandage from the first-aid box next to him. It would be a good enough tissue. "That does not sound good. Maybe we should get you out of the sun." Paramonos suggested as he began to stand up, lifting Ruwa to her feet. "I believe I can afford to leave my post while I escort you. Is there any place you would like to go?"

Ruwa wipes her nose, and takes the help.

"I can walk fine... Or are you going to carry me there?~<3" As if to test the theory, Ruwa hops into Paramonos with a flying hug.

"If that is what you wish." Paramonos responded with a smirk as he caught the fraccion. He put one arm around her back, the other underneath her, supporting her weight. "You still not have told me where "there" is." Paramonos reminded her.

Ruwa blinks.

"Oh... right. Jussst bring me to Mei-Mei-sssama'sss palace.~<3" She gives the Numeros a peck on the cheek for encouragement.

"Eep?" Canguro blinked as she was swept off of her feet, a little suprised as Lalita jumped off with her in his arms, placing a hand on his shoulder.

"Hm.. guess there are worse ways to travel... who do you think will win the tournament?" She asked with a smirk, looking around as they ran, wondering where she fired off that cero from went she was sent spinning from the Gran Rey Cero blast.

"Frankly, Miss Canguro... I couldn't care less!", Lalita chimes. He hadn't placed any bets on the outcome, and in the end, the match had turned out to be a bore compared to the intrigue created by bickering nobility of Las Noches. "What matters is that you came out of it relatively fine. I watched your performance quite closely, Miss. You fared very well, had it not been for good lord Septima's interference, why, I think you could've even won!"

How serious the playful man is impossible to say. His tone remains the epitome of politeness and sincerity, even if his words don't. Eventually, the two make it to Edward's Palacio's roof - Lalita lowers Canguro down on it for the time it takes to open a secret passage somewhere above the throne room. Then, he hoists her back on his arms and jumps down, revealing they're once again in his small apartment.

No, the stove was not on, and nothing has burned to the ground, either. Lalita lowers Canguro on his bed, seemingly unconcerned that her blood will stain his pristinely clean bedsheets, just like what has happened to his formerly pure white soldier's uniform. She now has a great chance to see how bad her injuries actually are from the mirror above the bed.

"Please, make yourself at home", Lalita chimes, giving Canguro a sideways smile as he walks to the door leading to the throne room. "I'll go to... acquire some first-aid supplies. It will not take long. I promise." Then he's gone, with nary a sound. The door to the throne room is left swinging open.

After the recoil of the hit, Ivaz looks down at her fellow Fraccion, grinning as usual.

You know, you could've just asked.

"Well, I DID request that Genoveva-sama stop wringing my neck..." Serazel replied as he somewhat struggled to get back on his feet, despite the lack of great injury to speak of (thank you, Ivaz's knockers!). "I apologize for this embarassing situation, Ivaz-san."

How Serazel ended amongst them is a mystery for the ages. What can be seen of his face is positively crimson now. It looks almost adorable.

"I swear I'll never understand how you and Ruwa-san think..."

Ivaz leans forward a little to whisper to him.

Well, I can't speak for Ruwa-san, but I just do whatever...pleases me.

As she finishes her statement, she gives a playful grin and runs the back of her hand along the side of his face. She was having fun.

It was Sereg's voice, coming from Sereg's position, but it wasn't Sereg who had spoken.

Serazel was having fun too.

Apolinar was completely oblivious to the buffoonery going on in the skybox. Good thing too, as he probably would have popped a vein. His Cero had completely failed to get Roux's attention, and had missed him completely, so without further ado he set out looking for something else to smash. Where was Tark? Where was Canguro? Zeiko? Really, at this point Apolinar just wanted to win the fight and get on with doing his goddamn job.

"Aww shucks, you're making me blush." Canguro chuckled, her eyes not visible behind her helm, but her head was tilted up look at him with a smile "It's a good thing I was up in the air whent he Septima fired that Cero though, would've gotten off much worse if I was closer."

The new Fraccion cocked her head to the side as she was lowered, watching Lalita curiously as he opened the secret passage. She made a mental note to remember where it was as she was picked back up and the two of them dropped down into his room, shifting a bit as she was laid down on the bed.

"Alright... I'll just be waiting here." Canguro watched him leave through the door, her eyes quickly scanning the room before turning her gaze upward to stare at herself in the mirror above the bed. Still in her released form, the bleeding from her leg wasn't as bad as it had been in the arena, several cuts rinning along her right leg. She vaugely wondered if anyone would slip and fall in the skybox, what will all the blood from the Septima cutting off his arm and her wounded leg.

"Hm... I have to get one of these..." She said about the mirror as she stared up at it, wondering if she'd be getting her own room in the Palacio like Lalita now that she was a Fraccion.

It was Sereg's voice, coming from Sereg's position, but it wasn't Sereg who had spoken.

Serazel was having fun too.

Ivaz grinned at Serazel, then turned to Sereg.

Serazel added to it with a voice that was uncharacteristically cute, "Oh, Ivaz-san. My neck feels so sore! I'm glad you managed to keep my head from cracking in a million pieces."

Vicente seems to be paying attention out of the corner of his eye as he smirks at his own joke, sipping his beer.

Von Geister taps his fingers on the rail, before turning his head just a bit to let Ivaz and Serazel see his smiling face.

"Perhaps I should reassign you two to him for awhile, discipline appears to be... Lacking."

She chuckles at Vicente's suggestion. Then she turns her head to face Von Geister.

Sorry if this sounds a little rude, but is discipline all that important? I mean, we get our jobs done. Isn't that what matters?

"It is not just about doing what you are told. That is not discipline, but simple servitude."

Von Geister turns around, a white, segmented stalk topped by an eye growing from the floor near his feet, and then turning back to the fight behind him.

"It is about efficiency, respect, focus, and most of all, decorum."

"And what I see... This kind of... Foreplay, is most definitely not a problem in Mei's sector, but that, added to the growing disrespect for the Septima, who is our gracious host today, shows a lack of discipline, of social etiquette, that is truly, truly unbecoming of those who are nobility within my domain."

Pico raises his hand. "Your Majesty, you could just throw them my way. You know I have some of the toughest sons of *****es in Las Noches. A couple of romps through the wastes, some time in the barracks, they'll be rough in no time."

He strangely makes no indication of any...other things he could use them for.

A bone dart is driven through the wall next to Pico's head, where it came from is anyone's guess.

"Hmm... Looks like someone missed the point."

Said bone dart just barely clips Pico's head, a few hairs dropping onto his shoulder. Pico looks shocked at this, eyes wide with fear. He bows his head in a mixture of shame and embarassment. "Yes, yes I did miss the point. Sorry."

"I suppose I have no argument I can offer." Serazel nodded as he regained his composure.

Meanwhile, Thousands of Miles Awaaaaaay

Hueco Mundo. The great desert of the dead. In the middle of it, the great city of Las Noches. A great fortress in the wasteland. The only source of daylight in the otherwise bleak expanse. A shining gem in the center of a desolate blight. This is where the arrancar reside.

Well, most of the arrancar.

A female figure is seen slowly trudging through the aforementioned wasteland. How such a girl ended up in a place like this is hard to guess. Her black hair framed her face perfectly, and her pale blue eyes are chilling to look at. Her wardrobe doesn't seem particularly suited for the cold night air either. Wearing a skirt and short sleeves was not the best idea, but she didn't exactly have a nearby outlet mall. It was hardly her choice, after all. The girl only had one set of clothes that she could wear comfortably with her small wings and tail. At least the scarf helped somewhat.

But at least she had some source of light. Curiously, she was clutching an iron lamppost in her arms, casting a dim light over the nearby area and providing some warmth. She held it closely, wrapping her arms around each other to help stay warm.

"Post-Saaaaaaaaaan. I'm f-f-freezing. When are we going to g-g-get to the shiny city?" A certain arrancar complained to seemingly no one. "W-we've- No, I've been walking f-f-for, like, two weeks n-now." Perhaps the prolonged exposure to the cold was making her slowly go insane, calling out to no one.

[A little left from middle of nowhere]

At first, nothing answers the girl's dissatisfied wail. Then something lets out a defeated sigh, and speaks to her. "... I told you I don't know, Gwen. This place has no other landmarks than the moon overhead. Just keep walking to its direction like before. I'm sure we'll stumble on something if we keep going long enough."

Ivaz stares at Von Geister's back for a moment, her usual smirk still present.

I understand your concern, my lord. I will show more respect towards your wishes in the future.

Of course, in her head, she's saying all sorts of things to him. Most would get her stabbed or something.

Gwen pouted. "But P-P-Post-Saaaaaaaan. W-w-we could be walking in the wrong d-d-direction." The girl said as she shivered uncontrollably. "We could b-be da...da...DATCHOO" she tried to say, interrupted by an inopportune sneeze. "... days off." She finished with a defeated sigh of her own. "You think I h-h-have a built in compass?"

"... a compass would not do us any good. We don't even know if this place has magnetic poles, let alone where that city of yours lies in relation to them. So, it would be the same if you keep following the Moon."

"Unless, of course, you want to go back to the living world."

Very very very far to the right of Middle of Nowhere

Gwen stuck the lamppost into the sand with great force and fell backward, defeated. She lay down on the cold white sand of Hueco Mundo. The arrancar blew a few stray strand of hair from her eyes. "That's a low blow, Post-San. We got into this situation 'cause the only one that sucks more than me at that garglewhatever is you. We might end up in a volcano or underwater or something." Gwen rolled over onto her stomach, lying the side of her face on the sand as she looked at the lamppost. "I think we've traveled enough for now. We'll start again when morning-
