I first found Ponies on KnowYourMeme around early December, through a particular picture that listed what fan pony are you. And watched the first episode on embed there. At the time I was at the end phase of my WoW addiction and ponies filled the excess extra time I suddenly found for myself from not playing. The Guild forum I chat in was dying since most people had left the game.(since our guild was mostly late 20's and older, many left because they have other obligations) So after a bit of lurking I decided to discuss ponies here in GitP. (it was a purely random decision.)

Now while I am not crediting Phoe for my entry to the Pony fandom. She was the one to strike my fancy to start drawing again after a small off-handed post mentioned it would be nice to have a ponytar version of her angel avatar at the time. I am not sure if it's her general phrasing, or if that really nicely made warrior angel avatar would really look nice ponified. I quickly grabed a screen cap of simple Celestia vector, and after some photoshop editing, it was done. and my mad descent into pony drawing becomes forever from then on.

Alright, finished the prologue to my Cold War ponies piece, Blue Moon in a Red Sky. Suggestions, and remarks are always welcome. Mostly I'm concerned about the pacing, but I'd also like to hear your opinions on the level of historical accuracy, and whether you think I should focus on the plot more or stick to the 'book' as it were.

Yes, actually!

You eat nothing but bacon. I cannae remember Jerome frame, but every time yer hungry? Bacon.

After about a week, your body gets to the point where you have like, 3 or 4 bites and it goes "bacon? No thanks, I'm. Not hungry."

I am not sure at all of it's healthful merits, except to say that despite what you've probably 'learned', there is only a tenuous link between eating fat and being fat.

That is, no one ever proved fatty foods make you fat. They just said 'fat people tend to eat more fat. Well, more eveythinf, actually, but definitely more fat' and folks believed it to be SCIENCE! which we all know is unquestionable.

Oh, nutrition courses. You've ruined so many lives.

The Atkins diet is somethin else entirely, and equally a crackpot diet. Never follow a fad diet which is named after a fat guy.

At SiuiS' command, the droid salutes before hopping down to the deck and casting about for a weapon. Finally he hoists a comically-large gattling cannon.*

"Good thing I took advantage of DBC's two-for-one offer!"

The droid reads the label on the ammo can.

"Hmm, swarm ammo? Wonder what that does?"

The cloaked bot begins firing, servos and toe-claws engaging to keep him from flying back under the recoil. Out of the cannon spew multicolored balls of fluff, which morph into winged Parasprites and begin devouring the incoming buffet of weaponry.

"What it says on the tin, I guess..." The druid comments, curiosity satisfied.
