Mm, Spirit Week is making me happy. I skipped Pajama Day, Twin Day, and Superhero Day, but I'm doing GenderBender Day tomorrow, and I'mquite pleased with the results. I'll have to get p a bit earlier in order to apply the make-up, but I have seven fake mustaches, boxers, a nice 'boy' t-shirt, and a pair of pants that currently ride incredibly low.

Or ones that are slightly oversized, just enough that they artfully drape from the hips. I have a couple very old pairs of boxers where the elastic has degraded so they do that on me, it can look appealing, I swear. =P

We like a bit of black comedy. And those songs to tend to be slightly hopeful. Well, not the Queen one, that's just because it's hilarious.
Also maybe we tend to be a bit more irreverent of institutions sometimes? That's not to say we don't have our fair share of 'normal' funerals, but perhaps that we might be more inclined towards humour even at funerals and solemn events than other countries.

However, I find it slightly harder to envisage a bookcase Kraken for some reason... And it would probably be harder to draw... At least with a piano, the Kraken can live inside it and attack people from the safety of the interior. Therefore, I don't have to draw its body.

That is a great epithet. They could have come up something significantly more disparaging to say about her neck, but they didn't.

And I was so spoiled for architecture after having lived for three years in the City of Dreaming Spires.
No matter what Oxford will always be one of the prettiest cities I'll ever go to.

As someone who is actually quite shy (but better than she was) it's fairly easy if you just remember you've been chatting to this person for months. Still hard, but not as much as you'd believe.
I was a bundle of nerves at my first UK meetup, but after a few hours or so bonding over Munchkin I was relaxed and chatty.

Well, as I said, it's nothing too special. Definitely not rare or anything...
If I remember correctly, Mum said that Dad just brought it home when Grandma moved out of her old place a few years and put it down the side of the house. It has since flourished.
I do believe the shady conditions there are perfect for it. As well as for numerous opportunistic ferns. I think we may have one or two other orchids, but they're not near flowering.

No no, she does not attack! Preening is a sign of affection, and it is very gentle. Sometimes when she sits on my shoulder she does it to my ear, and the other day for some reason she was trying to preen the very inside of my ear which caused her to smush her soft face feathers right against my cartilage. She's so cuuuuuuuute.

Attack here was merely used as a term to emphasise the intensity with which she focuses on her self imposed task. But I am rather ticklish, so I fear that my uncontrolled laughter may disturb her.
That is often the case when the cat plays with my hand. The pain is minimal as she drags her teeth across my skin in a playful imitation of hunting, but it does tickle rather a lot.
Her claws on the other hand...

I should like that both of these ideas become art. I'm imagining a cartoonish style half horrible, half cute.
