Considering she's lived her entire life in a network of twisting halls crowded with people wanting to hurt her, she's never had so much space to herself where she felt safe and not... open.

    The Hutt's nostrils widen at the mention of "zombies." Sure, he had heard the Zelosian legends of such animated corpses, and there were old spacer's tales of shambling corpses on Odacer-Faustin, but they actually exist here? Now, the Hutt knew this place was weird, but this will obviously take some getting used to.

    "Uh, what happened to the zombies?"

    The first is a blaster rifle made by the same ethnic group of furry beings that created the crystal sword. This weapon, also made with a nak'tra crystal, can take full advantage of the crystal's special ability; as the blaster bolt passes through the crystallized barrel, the beam is split into several million smaller ones that form a cloud of energy. As this blast reaches its maximum range (60 meters), the cloud of energy expands until it can engulf up to five medium-sized humanoid targets. As it expands, however, this blast becomes less potent. At maximum range, it will cause second degree burns on unprotected flesh.

    The second is a heavy weapon of Mustafarian manufacture. Loaded with a cartridge of Mustafarian ore, an interior superheater melts the block into several molten globs of lava; The weapon requires roughly a full minute to melt the ammo beforehand, however, which means it is a weapon best used in planned fights (a rarity). It can hold five cartridges of ore at once, with each supplying roughly a two to three second constant stream of lava. Though the molten ore is cooler than naturally occurring lava, it is still more than enough to destroy flesh and melt through the heaviest of armors.

    The last is a rare, extremely illegal carbine. Developed by the Verpine for intraplanetary conflicts, this type of shatter gun would get its nickname ("The Alliance Needler Carbine") for its extensive use by the Alliance to Restore the Republic. Capable of firing roughly a hundred and fifty miniaturized darts per second, these weapons use the magnetic field principal used to create rail guns. These weapons can reliably rip through plastoid body armor (like those of Stormtroopers) and duraplast, albeit with a lower consistency rate.

    If none of these fit Tirin's style, Jurga has several more where these came from.

    Shada feels completely daunted by the sheer size of it and stays close to Marty. She's practically gripping his arm. Will Tyalla be safe? She certainly hopes that Thenadier won't hurt her. But, knowing Tyalla, he probably couldn't if he tried.

    The dome is almost finished. Construction has begun on a huge blaster in the middle. It looks like an eye. More and more drow can be seen marching the perimeter.

    Shada eyes the gargoyles as if they were about to come to life and attack, glaring at them violently. You... live here? But it's... spooky. As spooky as the Pits? Probably not. Still, it was different for her. No bustle of people trying to survive, no screaming, no mud... no blood for that matter...

    That probably isn't the best thing to say to a schizophrenic. the moment he does she can hear whispers, voices which aren't there. They're calling to her. Marty... Shada's frightened of it. She's trying not to show it, but not really succeeding.

    It must be terrible to live in the same place your family died, Shada whispers, as though afraid to disturb the spirits. But she can't relate. She never really knew her family. They were probably already dead. And Fylder... well, she hoped Fylder was dead, and she put the miserable thing out of her mind.

    The whispers are louder. She can't understand them, but they meant her harm, she knew that much. Ooh, she hated this place!

    Shada is very hungry, but she's gone much longer without food and he obviously needs some time to himself, so she merely nods and departs to find his room. She feels very exposed in the house and walks briskly, trying not to listen to the voices. Eventually a creak spooks her so much that she breaks into a run and tears through the house to find his room, which is, in her mind, now a safe haven.

    She practically flies into his room and halts suddenly. She sinks onto the bed, breath coming in shudders. Relief. The room was Safe. Nothing could enter. This was her method of thinking.

    {Safe? You can't ever truly be safe you know.} Kordak, her gnoll Master, is leaning against the doorframe when she looks up. She freezes. {Not here, not anywhere.}

    But despite him saying that the projection of her insanity doesn't enter his room. It stays out in the hall. {You hear the voices don't you? You're never truly alone. "Shada" is it? No. 3-7-5-1-0-5. Those numbers branded onto you, you'll never be rid of them}

    The numbers itched on her ankle. She curls up into a fetal position on the bed in an attempt to block him out. It only partially succeeds. Where is Marty?

    A gatekeeper golem guides Zith through the 4 thick doors and guard security. The compound is huge. A giant fortress under construction inside the dome. The golem guides Zith for about 30 minutes before throwing him into the Baen're throne room. The room is pitch black.

    Ermine is impressed, and holds on to Reinholdt tight and close. When they get onto the ship, she gives a couple of orders to the otter-person crewman waiting for her. The crew gets permission to fly to Riverside and do whatever they like there, as what's the point of getting loot if you can't spend it? She also wants a cabin boy or two to fill up another rum-bath, which elects an eye-roll from the other pirate. But eccentricities can be put up with!

    Ermine then turns back to Reinholdt once the otter-man has gone off.
