Re: Prime's Art Thread III
It is worrying to hear that Alveri is still in trouble! I hope that she becomes better soon. But maybe being a troubled character is a theme.
Somehow, to think of a game with Prime32, a touhou project character should be expected.
Of course Inari is remembered! Of this group, Inari was the first character sketched by me. Even if appearance changes, the colors are recognized immediately.Kasanip's Sketchbook 2 Thread

Re: Prime's Art Thread III
Oh, nah. :3 She was okay for quite a while, you just happen to ask right after something bad happens to her.

Re: Prime's Art Thread III
What happens when Prime discovers Lego Digital Designer with too much free time on his hands? This happens:
Spoiler
Shoutmon X5B. It's fully articulated (apart from the waist) and combines in the same manner as the toys.
I can post simpler combinations/components if you want, except for Shoutmon himself (who is just a block).
I look at this thing and ask "Did I really make this?". For two reasons.

Anyway, more pics. Some partforming involved right now; I hope to cut down on that. The arms all fold up into their respective Get machines though.

Re: Prime's Art Thread III
So, Getter Robo was giving me problems - LDD has trouble with the kind of odd positions I was trying to squeeze the limbs into to fit inside the jet modes, and I couldn't figure out how the caterpillar treads connect to other pieces.
Instead, I bring you something from Super Robot Wars.

Re: Prime's Art Thread III
That's just the kind of toy Legos are, Kasanip. I imagine they're hard to come by in Japan.

I met a girl with a really pensive look. I walk up to her, put a fifty cent coin in her hand, "For your thoughts. I know the going rate is supposed to be one, but I figure you play hardball."
She gave it back, "Keep it. Pretty sure a guy with your charm can find a way to have them for free anyway."

Re: Prime's Art Thread III
Spoiler
I don't think I quite nailed what I was going for, but I at least seem to be getting faster at this.
The character in question is... the dicebot at the MinMax IRC channel. It's a long, in-jokey story.

Re: Prime's Art Thread III
Yandere dicebots: keeping a character barely alive against all odds until someone is in position to stabilize them on next turn, at which point they bleed out?
No-one else is allowed to save them, after all .
I think the jaw line could curve up slightly sharper, a bit like the tip of a rounded out pentagon. It is more of a disclaimer than a name. Essay, Inc., or the like are all fine as shorthand.
Things i made from clay, wire & paint.
An opportunity to have your a bust of your character sculpted, details at the end of this post.
