Finally, an update! Just in time for my Birthday, too!
This looks to be near the end of this backstory novella. I hope that means we'll get regular Erf back in march or April :/

I seriously doubt it. That would leave a massive gap between Goodminton falling and Wanda ending up in Faq that I suspect will need to be filled to explain exactly why she became what she did...we haven't even heard the Arkentools mentioned yet!

Considering it says end of part 1 under the picture, it is certainly the end of SOMETHING.

Why are they acting so loopy... oh. "High" Elves. Of course. Although the "pale and gaunt" one is probably supposed to be Galadriel or something, I'd love to know who the fat one is, besides visual contrast.

Right, but that was the first fat man and skinny man comedic duo my mind came up with. Although, the fact that they're supposed to be stoners... If the fat one hadn't talked I'd almost say Jay and Silent Bob...

They're also elves, which is why I mentioned Galadriel.

Maybe, but that doesn't fit for me. I'm more inclined to think of some fat man, skinny man slapstick comedic duo (preferably stoners), than Tolkien's elves for these two.

This is Erfworld, after all. And regardless, it's not so much "Tolkien's elves" but "Tolkien's elves - on pot."

I took it as prying for info, then realising they likely "knew too much" and better leave quickly before other side kills them.

"They use natural Hippiemancy, mostly Flower Power." - look like Hippies, may not mean they do drugs. Same sort of style is used in business at times - play friendly redneck to gain advantage, other side sees as harmless and underestimates.

Example, Charlie and Prince Tramennis discussion had same bright colors at times, so far both seem like sharp minds who may intentionally play fool and possibly not do drugs for same reason that an athlete might avoid donuts... obsession with having the best thinkomancy.

Or Olive playing "love" as a weapon as example of Flower power. The only drugs we see her do so far are ones (like poisons) that help her side win wars.

(Too little info to tell what sort they really are)

It's almost certain we got at least some bias in there, yeah...

Then again, he is named King Banhammer....

We have no text update since almost a full month.
I'm aware that Book 2 is on hiatus and will return to updates on June 6 (let's imagine I believe it...).
But in the meantime, Rob should post the prequel novel.

Well he does need the time to actually write it, and the kick starter could be taking a great deal of his time. For instance, right now they have auditions going on for the voice actors. Depending on how many people submit auditions, it could take a long time for him to review the auditions and pick his favorites. According to the person heading that end of the project, they've gotten 250 auditions so far
