Munchkin OotS?
I realized Axe Cop has its own Munchkin variant. I personally love the Munchkin card game, and would love to see an OotS variant. So, is it possible ever, or just a pipe dream?

Re: Munchkin OotS?
The OOTS game is very, very similar to munchkin, in my and my gaming group's honest opinion, except OOTS is
better.more strategic and cooperative.Last edited by Forbiddenwar; 2013-07-05 at 12:22 AM.

Re: Munchkin OotS?
Disagree about strategic, agree about cooperative. But that's sort of the opposite of what I want from a game like Munchkin.

Re: Munchkin OotS?
I've played with like six expansions at once before. It's fun.

Re: Munchkin OotS?
This won't happen, sorry. Steve Jackson approached me about it a few years ago, but my contract with APE is for exclusive board/card game rights to OOTS, and we're not discontinuing the existing board game any time soon.

Re: Munchkin OotS?
Certainly an interesting hypothetical, Sunken Valley. I would expect that if Rich does regret that choice, he would not say so directly on a public forum. Nothing good comes from saying something negative about a partner company that you're stuck with for a while. Still, I would love to hear his answer.
Also, I wonder of Jackson was gunning for an OotS Munchkin pack (or expansion), or just interested in talking about the possibility with Rich.

Re: Munchkin OotS?
As far as I can recall, most Munchkin decks come with a few blank cards for you to add your own fun.
Just sayin'."None of us likes to be hated, none of us likes to be shunned. A natural result of these conditions is, that we consciously or unconsciously pay more attention to tuning our opinions to our neighbor’s pitch and preserving his approval than we do to examining the opinions searchingly and seeing to it that they are right and sound." - Mark Twain
