My Little Pony XXVI: Applebloom to Zecora!

So as you all know, Psychoshutin is playing a Changeling that goes by "Trixie" in my current campaign, illusion specialization. So, in keeping with my OTP, I've decided that in my next campaign after the Arena Fight, Trixie's new found fame is going to kind of go to her head (we worked this out together), and that I'm also going to introduce a woman in a yellow dress that is seen in the audience who begins whooping and cheering and jumping at Trixie's most recent feats.

I need to come up with a human-esque variant of the name Fluttershy for this NPC. Actually... Would elf work better? No... Crap, I need a race now too.

Romantic interest will ensue. I am shipping ponies in a D&D campaign. In a campaign where only myself and Psycho are bronies. I feel way too accomplished at this. XD

Whilst I have absolutely zero interest in the Fluttershy/Trixie pairing, I encourage any spreading of pony to non-pony stuff, so I applaud this, and would indeed suggest that either elf or half-elf would probably be most fitting for 'D&D Fluttershy', due to her whole connection-to-nature thing.

And yeah, it sounds like your thought about that toy really was a lack-of-sleep thing.

So got that shot. It hurt and it sucked but I didnt get a panic attack which is good I guess. Got the shot because my foot problem, one that made it hard to walk or work, got so bad one day I couldn't walk without extreme pain. (I did anyway, and was promptly sent home by my manager because I was in tears)

So I got that shot of cortisone today, and now I can't walk again. First my foot was numb, like tingly-asleep-foot numb, and now it feels like I have a Charlie-horse that stretches from the middle toe to the middle fatty part of the bottom of my foot. I just can't win

Wellp, I've gone through and put together a chapter-by-chapter framework for the MLP/Firefly fanfic that's stuck in my head. But not 100% yet on the flow of things. Should probably go back and work on it some more before I begin drafting the chapters ... or do you guys find that you tend to re-write/change your plot significantly once you start writing?

Might post the synopsis or chapter-by-chapter framework here if anyone is interested in having a look and providing feedback =3 (Even if it's limited to "MLP/Firefly will never work because they are simply incompatible in terms of subject matter" ... because, yes, that is something that I've definitely been wrestling with, although I think I've got something workable. Even if it's a bit ambitious for a first MLP fanfic ><)

I faint and have panic attacks when it comes to jabs. Got better recently. You have all my sympathy also. *hugs* Another thing to add though... Most good nurses and doctors will be prepared for it. It isn't uncommon to have panic attacks and fainting issues when it comes to jabs, and as long as you say to them before you go in "Idon'tlikeneedlesIfeelI'mgonnafaintorpanicandIwan tmypony!" they'll understand and at least attempt to accomodate you. At least, that's how it's happened for me.

Probably gonna go half-elf. Full elves aren't very common in the capital city the party is stuck in.

Trixie in game is slowly developing the Show's Trixie's personality, and I kind of want the in game Fluttershy to be a catalyst. The extremely submissive personality kind of encouraging Trixie's overall dominant and boastful attitude.

A larger than usual unicorn stallion paused on the path down from Canterlot, taking in the two ponies before him. He took a moment to adjust the blue-plumed helmet he wore in an attempt to better shield his eyes from the sunlight. It was a futile gesture, as the fringe on the helmet was far too short to provide any real shade.

Not that he would complain about that, any more than he would about his charcoal grey coat. Both of these were marks of his station which he bore prominently and proudly.

Reaching into his saddlebags with his magic, he retrieved a scroll of parchment which he held up before his eyes. His gaze flitted back and forth between the paper and the travellers for several seconds before he rolled it back up into his saddlebags with a satisfied nod. No doubt one of these ponies was the one his orders pertained to.

But which one? He wondered. His orders had not been very specific after all …

Undaunted, he approached the two; snapping a salute once they noticed him.

“Well met, madam, sir” He intoned, with parade-ground precision. “Your assigned escort has arrived.”

"That is an important lesson!" The mechanical pony was quick to agree, and his eyes darted skyward, checking for signs of rain reflexively, even on this cloudless day. After he spoke, Second Hand sat quietly for a moment; there were a thousand questions he had for this unfamiliar earth pony, but something in her expression and tone seemed so determined that he was afraid of interrupting her with his own little geek-out over her curious machine.

He might have sat there, silent and uncertain for a very long time, but luckily the clip-clop of hooves began to sound behind him, cutting through the silence before it could become too awkward. As the grey unicorn approached, the clockwork pony's head swiveled on its mountings and he eyed the newcomer with mingled interest and relief.

After the unicorn's announcement, Second Hand was just about to reply, when Charger's answer caught him off-guard. "Well, the roads near Canterlot are pretty safe, but...oh! Oh, I don't think he means that kind of escort Miss...uh..." Suddenly the mechanical pony realized that he didn't know either of his new acquaintances' names, and he stopped speaking, thankful that his metal cheeks couldn't blush.

Someone recently suggested that we should run a PbP using one of the many pony RPG systems that have popped up (or possibly just putting ponies in other systems, like in Thanqol's post). I don't have time to run one or I would, but I'm going to keep pushing this idea until someone goes for it, because it would be awesome. Now I just need some pony-themed die...

That's definitely one possible theory. I actually like it a lot. Hehe and I love the Derpy fridge raiding thing she has going on. I've seen a few of the comics where she's staying with Carrot Top, they're adorable.

Ugh, I had a networking coffee meeting planned for today. Someone whose brain I wanted to pick about what to do after I (hopefully) pass my CISSP exam this weekend.

Last night I go into full on Twilight mode, thinking of every possible question I could ask, culling them to about 10 and ranking them.

Then this morning the wave of social anxiety hits and I've 180'd to Fluttershy, with all the ways I could screw this up running through my mind. Which is annoying since intellectually I know I'm actually fairly god damn charming after I get past any initial awkwardness.

Then I get here. The guys conference call is running long and since I have to get to work by noon eastern I can't stick around until it's done. So I get to do it all again next week.
