So, is the remaining vampire cleric going to
a)Start a temple of Hel and try to spread knowledge about her so that Hel can get a more balanced diet in this world?
b)Make their way to the north pole and try to destroy the last gate so that the world is destroyed anyways?

Yes, there should now be two, but the Frontarch is not in a great position upon the conclusion of the godsmoot. I have a feeling that cleric will not fare well when the protections of the godsmoot are gone, and that the clerics who would have had to protect her will likely not interfere as she is massacred by a dozen or so very high level clerics.
So really, Curly is the last one, and from what we've seen, she's likely a very low level acolyte.

I'm betting that either Hilgya is about to take her out with a single flamestrike, or a low level adventuring party is about to show up and take her out as a boss.

    From SRD:

Gaseous Form (Su): As a standard action, a vampire can assume gaseous form at will as the spell (caster level 5th), but it can remain gaseous indefinitely and has a fly speed of 20 feet with perfect maneuverability.

Nice touch by Rich. With the blue barrier down, the dwarves can now hear the battle outside.

Also, we can now rename the character "Logann's Mom" to "Mrs Brightstone".

Generally speaking things about to die feel weak. Every so often you have a major character (foe, player, whatever) who right before dying says "I'm just...going to rest for a while" before they die. It might not be right to call the Likeable Deathworm "major", but it's the same sort of line.

Likeable Deathworm is probably also not too familiar with dying (being killed rather than the other way around) and so would have difficulty understanding why he feels so weak, and amounting it to being sleepy.

Or maybe he de-summoned himself to go take his nap? I dunno.

I’m wondering if Hel can turn Curly into another monster and try one last time to win.
If Hel could do that (without Hel’s Might) she would have done so already. Hel does not have any secret weapon because she is improvising this whole thing and is seen several times being frustrated that she’s not allowed to do more (sending Garm and the Death Giants or giving Durkon a heart attack for example)

Unlikely. The Godsmoot truce would be meaningless if the High Priests could be attacked on the back journey. You could argue that it’s the Creeders who would be enforcing that rule but I think every High Priest is Wise enough to realize that breaking the truce would only result in a free-for-all as the Churches of Loki and Thor, Tyr and Fenrir, etc ‘settles’ their difference.

Anybody wants to bet that Hilgya doesn't end up killing curly? Given Rich's proclivity for subverting the story, the fact that she noticed the smoke probably means she ISN'T going to do a damn thing.

She could have covered an arbitrarily long distance between those two panels, though. She's too good at fleeing to make the mistake of materializing in front of an enemy, but panic does funny things to you.

And if this was any other comic I’d agree, but in OOTS, the characters never register their wounds until they are in negative HP or under some special effect. Nale was feeling just peachy even though he was a hair’s breadth away from death in his last scene.

In order for Durkon to become unpetrified, do they have to reduce the number of councilors until they can practically resume the meeting and formally adjourn, or can Vaarsuvius walk in and cast the appropriate "undo" spell?
