Front Gate - Celesto

The guards raise up their weapons and so do the ones on the walls and in the watchtowers. It's never a smart move to suddenly reveal yourself in such an explosive manner like that. Multiple laser sights will track across Celesto's body as they prepare for trouble.

The male guard just gives a "tsk" and shakes his head. "No. You aren't one to make demands here. Those are our terms. If your Matron refuses to come and speak with us, then our leader has no call to speak to you. A lack of response to our terms will mean we will deem it as a disagreement and the matter unresolved. We will still be ready to take action if necessary however."

As the Illithid will find that the psionics don't exactly work on this pair of guards, we'll assume he's just making the sound come from the air.

(If it was to be in their heads all this time, please mention that beforehand next time. Also, how did the Illithid appear? If it was through teleportation, gating, portalling or the like, those such methods do not work this close to Remnant HQ.)

"Your assumption is partly correct." Arla admits before looking at a watch. "How long did you say it would be before your associate arrived with proof?"

A pair of guards keep the old woman under a careful eye and won't let her pass. "Can we help you, madam?"

"Yes. I've been looking for a man named Gus Acre, I think I have his wallet." The woman fishes through her handbag, and draws out the wallet in question. "Found it just outside the MagMart, and I've been looking everywhere for the poor man."

Celesto can control corpses by manifesting in their flesh. Hes able to fit do to his physcic abilities.

"Tell you what. We'll have someone higher up meet with you and they'll decide if you can speak to Commander Vasquez or not." After a brief pause to speak into his comm link, he gives a nod. "He's on his way."

"We can return it to him. Who might you be?" One of the guards asks as she takes the wallet.

Someone comes flying through the air toward the gate, seemingly propelled and held aloft by nothing at all. As he nears, it's revealed that this person is certainly not human. He's a- No, the Mewtwo, wearing a Remnant uniform.

:Is this him?: The pokemon asks, sounding utterly apathetic about the whole situation. Bored really. This isn't the first time he's been called to deal with someone, and it won't be the last.

"Oh, my name's Abigail Devon," the woman says, giving up the wallet. "Will you need to see my ID or something?"

A giant beetle approaches the Remnant base, bearing a leather-clad goblin holding the reins and a passenger, also a goblin. It stops a little away from the base, at which point the passenger hops off his seat and approaches the gate. As he does so, it becomes clear it's in fact Dipsnig.

Celesto leans on one leg. He has one hand in his cloak. The other hand stroking his tentacles. His skin is a cyan blue color except for his tentacle tips which are bleached pink due to blood. Since psyionics do not seem to work he speaks out loud. His voice is wet and gurgling. His eyes ore a dim orange. He is rather bulky and strong for an ilithid. An odd clicking sound originates from the hand in his cloak. He speaks in his wet voice Why, hello. As I said I am Celesto. I work for Baen're. I am her personal advisor. May I ask you meatbags to lower your lasers. I would appreciate it. It might hurt my eyes. May I ask what you are? Er....Whatever you are. It is quite obvious what I am. Also. That fire. Watch that area. Things are about to get awfully interesting...yes. Kara'sin will speak through me. She is not happy. May I enter? I carry no weapons. Celesto walks towards the gate and is addressing the pokemon. The clicking does not stop. He walks with an odd limp.

Mewtwo holds one hand before himself, pointed at Celesto. The pokemon is attempting to telekinetically hold the illithid in place. If he can manage that, he'll also try to force Celesto to hold his arms up above his head, palms out. "I would advice that House Baenre be more careful in its choice of advisers. Diplomacy is a useful skill to have which you don't seem to possess. I don't care who you are, if you wish to accomplish anything here you should address any and all Remnant personal with the respect they deserve. Do I make myself clear?"

Celesto's hands fly to the air. He does not resist it. One "hand" is a pale orange claw, like a crabs. The other is normal. The claw is making the clicking noise. Fine. You are?

All the guards raise their weapons once more and the male guard takes a step forward as he pulls out what looks to be a headband. "Celesto, you are charged with Murder, admitted by you just a few moments ago. If Matron Baenre wishes to dispute this, once more, she can come here in person. Resist and we will use force."

Front Gate 2.0

"No, ID won't be necessary. Thank you for your concern." The guard says before passing the wallet into the guard house. Once there, they put it into a security scanner to make sure no magic or tech devices are attached to it.

Front Gate 3.0

"Hello, Dipsnig. Can we help you?" One of the guards asks.

"Celesto, you are charged with Murder, admitted by you just a few moments ago. If Matron Baenre wishes to dispute this, once more, she can come here in person. Resist and we will use force.".

Celesto doesn't resist. That would probably be the end of him. Instead he follows the guards wherever they take him. He says, I do, in fact, have right to a lawyer? Isn't that true?

Mewtwo will simply follow, hovering behind the group. He'll let those that arrested Celesto answer his question.

Front Gate - Celesto

Celesto won't be brought inside the walls yet. The guard will attempt to put the head band on the illithid under the watch of Mewtwo and the other guards. The band will shut off Celesto's psychic capabilities including telepathy and telekinesis. If successful, Celesto will be patted down for items and his cloak removed. "Lawyers? No. Not unless the Matron wishes to abandon you. You can have a call though."

Gate 3.0

"Head on in." The guard tells Dipsnig. "You'll be escorted to her office."

Dipsnig nods and heads inside, then waits to be escorted to Vasquez' office.

Celesto doesn't resist. He has no items. He will follow the guards wherever they take him.

Approaching the gate somewhat nervously, Trix wrings her hat between her hands. She was going to have to do this sooner or later. A few weeks ago, just the thought would have terrified her, but she had to do it. It was only right. Her ears drooping and her tail flicking, she lifts her chin up to make eye-contact with the guards. This is it, the real her, without any influence of the Ring. These are her thoughts and her decisions.

"Uhm -" Too quiet. She clears her throat.

"Ah, I've just come to, uh, to return some stolen goods. Which, um..." she looks down for a moment, "Which I stole."

She bites her lip nervously. Well, no going back now.

"Oh, there's no need to thank me. I just couldn't bare to think of how much that man was worried about this." Abigail waits for a few seconds, in case the guards need her further.

The wallet has no tech or magical devices attached to it.

Okay, now Mewtwo follows. He doesn't comment further, simply staying to be sure that the illithid doesn't try anything until he's been detained.

[Front Gate - Ghoul]

And some time later, Kirk arrives on Ghoul's bike. Hanging beneath it is a big slab of obsidian that appears to have a lizard suspended in it through some transparent part. DeB will have to elaborate once it's examined. For now, Kirk just lands it and gets off. If Ghoul is still outside the gate, he will head for her. Otherwise he'll approach a gate guard and inform them why he's here.

Beneath the opaque facemask, one of the guards gives a gentle smile. "Alright, come on into the shack and we'll get it all over with for you. What's your name?" He asks gently as he goes into the shack, gesturing for her to follow.

Gate - Celesto => Prisoner Processing

At the gate, Celesto will be met with a small contingent of armed guards who will escort Celesto and Mewtwo to the processing area where he'll be given his call. "Use it wisely. It's recorded so careful what you say."

Gate 2.0

The guards will let the woman go and will then start looking through the wallet to see what all is or isn't there.

Trix pauses, having not really expected them to be nice to her about this. She's a criminal! Sure, she's coming back to return things, but... criminal!

"Uh. Trix. Trix is good." she responds, looking around cautiously as she enters the guard shack behind him. Maybe it's the entrance to a secret underground base where they force thieves into slave labour because they are horrible, horrible criminals! That would be terrible!

Of course, it wouldn't be anything like that, but Trix has avoided authority all her life. The little half-demon has no idea what procedure is. She figures that she'll at least go to jail. Or a salt mine.

Side Gate

The guard shack is simple. Just a small pair of rooms (one behind a locked door), with a desk, chair, and a tray leading into Remnant through the wall in the first room. "Alright, Trix..." He says as he starts filling out paperwork. "Affiliated with any Orgs, Age, Marital status, and just what all have you stolen that you'd like to return?"

"Stop whistling or we'll find another way to restrain you." One of the guards says as they lead the Illithid to a holding cell. If nothing happens, he'll be locked in and will find that the head band can't be removed for now. "We'll keep you in here for now, until we're done meeting the Matron. If you have any special needs dietary wise, now is the time to say so."

Trix rubs a shoulder, trying to relieve some of her nervousness.

"Um. I - I work at NO sometimes and I'm twenty, uh -" and here there is only a slight pause, "Twenty two." Everyone lies about their age, right? Besides, it was only a couple years shaved off the top.

Her brow furrows, "Why does whether or not I'm single matter, though?" the pale-skinned woman asks, looking off to the side.

"He said he would be here soon eno- Speak of the Void" the muse said, recognizing the sounds of her airbike. While the walls were quite solid here, she did have a bit of an edge due to her recently augmented senses. She was betting with herself that she could probably hear the footfalls of an ant in a quiet room if put to it now.

That aside, it seems Arla now had whatever was left of Feia in a large chunk of rock. While it would make for a rather excellent conversation piece or perhaps a bit of modern art, it was rather doubtful that it would remain in the state it was in for very long.

"Well, I suppose that would be the proof of demise right there." the muse said, refraining from smiling too much.

Gate - Ghoul

From the main building scampers out a small grey creature about a foot tall - well, when it stands, that is. It's got two legs, although it also has two arms which are serving the same purpose at the moment. Across its back in a little strap is a spanner which looks about as long as the creature. On its arms and legs are hands and feet with 4 fingers that each end in a sharp claw, one of them serving the function of a thumb.

It has two pointy ears, sharp, short teeth, and two wide eyes on its head.

The gremlin Iggy is scampering its way towards Kirk as fast as he can. Once he gets close to Kirk, he'll launch himself through the air and try and cling to Kirk's leg, before punching him several times in the upper leg. It probably won't hurt too much, but it's damn annoying

Where's my robot! Iggy shouts.

All of this is interruptible and attempted, of course.
