Oh, I just don't tell them that I go on here. They have no clue what I do online (when I'm not doing homework), except that whatever it is, it's not porn.

The closest thing I ever got to "The Talk" was when I got my period. I kinda figured things out myself.

I suspect that would make them worry more, given the nature of their concerns.

Especially considering some of the reading material my mother suggests to me and vice versa. She's far too fond of adult detective/crime novels, and I'm far too fond of anything written by Stephen King.

No, the problem seems to be that for some reason I refuse to let them read over my shoulder while I'm online. It's not as though it's because I have severe problems with trusting people not to make fun of me. Noooo....

Apparently I got The Talk while my mum was pregnant with my brother.

Except I was three at the time.

My Dad has a thing set up which logs the webpages we visit.

He knows exactly how much time I spend online and what I do.

It isn't good for my paranoia.

We should better Stop Talking before We fill another 6 pages of random Babel. Il just Finish my Homework And Il make a pic.

Oh and Zanil: Heh. Im growing up in a completly Different enviorment than they are and I almost laugh when they think i Dont get what they are talking about but i do. You know I have a Natural Sensor Within me? Like when I watched titanic when I was only 8 I never remembered her being naked.

I never Recieved The Talk and I doubt I ever will. I always knew where babies came from.

Yeah My parents realy Trust me but when I was 8 they went to hard on me and made me afraid to tell anything negative so its realy hard to stop lying. It just sorta imprinted onto me.

We're pretty open. The one thing they won't let me do is get a lock for my door (Because my brother keeps running into my room when I'm getting dressed, refusing to leave my room when I want to go to sleep, and so forth.). But whatever.

Also, both my parents are lawyers and thus have several ranks in Sense Motive.

Of course, once you lose that trust, you're not getting it back...

    Ditto. Sort of.

Closing whatever I'm doing on the computer has become a nervous twitch which I do even if I'm just doing homework, or something else completely innocent.

Part of it might be that I assume that whatever people say to me is a thinly diguised threat which anyone else would be able to pick up on, but which stupid antisocial me is oblivious to.

So to me, saying "you spend a lot of time on that website" may as well be saying "you spend too much time on that website, stop being so obsessive and do something useful or I'll reprive you of the only contact you get with other people."

Which of course depresses me futher and I come here to forget my sorrows.

I loved both the new Tiasal pics!

I liked all the Allegiance updates, Sereg. After the final one I couldn't stop giggling and thinking, "Miko finally got her Treasure Type O!"

Squee'd at the new fanservice, Yiuel. And I liked the start of the OotS Jr. story.

Can't wait to see that new chapter of Orphans, Nathander.

I figured we probably wouldn't see much of Aandy until the giant confrontation at the gate (yes, my sense of drama tells me that the mega-illusion's sense of drama will ensure that everyone will conveniently arrive at the end of the maze (or what looks like the end of the maze) at the same time), since he strikes me as high-level enough to handle all this stuff on his own without too much trouble. Same goes for Xykon, and same goes for Tsukiko now that she's with Xykon. I also suspect that Redcloak will somehow find out V's pregnant within the next few chapters. Haley might have to ditch Roy and Elan and keep going on her own if/when she realizes that they're way to wrapped up in there dream-worlds to come out without magical assistance (although I can also see myself being completely wrong about that). I have no idea about the rest of the Order. I also expect (well, more hope than expect, really) that there will be some big reveal about the mysterious singing creature that's gotten a little screen time. Probably just before, just after, or during the aforementioned big dramatic confrontation at "the end". Hope that somehow helped.

Hope to see where that story's going soon, Kyuubi.

    Welcome, Gosh!

    Interesting update, CapedLuigiYoshi.

I hope to post When in Rome (the title I'm using for my "OotS goes to cheap Ancient Rome imitation where mythology is real, meets Pygmalion, and a bunch of crack ensues" story, which will have multiple pairings) later today or maybe tomorrow, if anyone's interested (I know Coffee probably is).

All the self-shipping and ficcer-shipping fics and pics made me smile. Especially Asta Kask's letter to PlayElf and CoffeeIncluded's pictures. *forks over $75*

Hm... I might try to get in on this shipping yourself action (after I finish When in Rome and Chapter 3 of Hinjo x Tsukiko), but what--whoops, I guess I mean who--to do...? Shiny x Roy? Shiny x V? Shiny x MitD? Shiny x Tsukiko? Shiny x Nale x Sabine? While Thog remains distracted by playing with Shiny's puppy downstairs? Anyone have any suggestions?

*sigh* At last I'm all caught up. I guess that's what I get for not getting on for a few days.

And here, lo and behold, a pairing with two not-so-good people, involving a somehow-good plot device:
    Spoiler
    Show
"Tsukiko! There's intruders in the southern district, I need you to take care of them!"
Tsukiko: "Umm... I'm coming, give me a sec!"
"Alright, don't take your time, it's the resistance!"
A little while later, in the southern district:
"Belkar! That witch is coming, prepare to kill those undead! And what is SHE WEARING?!"
Jumps out of the pineapple pot, daggers raised, with a devilish grin on his face "Let's get this done."
In a split second, Belkar sees Tsukiko coming around a corner, wearing what seems to some costume made for people who serve tea, possibly those who clean. It looked hot too, she made it so, and as he stared, Belkar lost all track of time and was entranced by the woman running towards them with a murderous look on her face.
Tsukiko: "What are YOU looking at?!" Tsukiko screamed loudly at Belkar. Though she made her face and tone hostile, he looked kind of cute there, staring, drooling even.
Snapping out of it as the woman yelled at him, he looked up at her face, threw his daggers in random directions, hitting undead left and right, and ran towards her, hands raised in anticipation. "I... I uh..."
Tsukiko: What is he doing? She looked at Belkar, puzzled. "Oh, little man!" Suddenly realizing what he came running towards her for, she opened her arms wide.

To be continued by your imagination...

I don't quite know how far we can go, but this is very PG and not explicit, though somewhat suggestive.

You can try to guess what the plot device is...

    Thanks Meg.

Haha. That makes sense. Maybe this is what Falling feels like for a Paladin.

Interesting take on it, Lubirio. Although considering what Tsukiko usually wears, I doubt Belkar would find the maid costume strictly necessary.

    Glad you're excited, Coffee.

On an unrelated note, the easiest way to get your parents to trust you is to not do anything untrustworthy. At 16 I could tell my parents that I was going to a friend's house where there would be drinking (keeping in mind the legal drinking age here is 19 and I had a lot of older friends in highschool), and I'd get a green light. My parents would ask me if I would be drinking, and I could honestly tell them no. 16 Years of scrupulous honesty allowed me pretty much free reign all throughout highschool.

Meh, a little honesty during the boring years goes a long way during the fun ones. But yeah, trust is one of those things that's hard to get back after it's gone. Like innocence. Or sanity. Not that that's in any way related to the thread. *cough*

Pretty much the same thing for my parents and I. They know full well that I'm not exactly innocent, but they don't seem to care as long as I'm not breaking the law.

Nonono, girl. You open the banana and then... slowly... lick... the tip of it... while fixing your glance at the person you are trying to unnerve.

I've had so much fun with this around homophobes...

Hey, look what I can do!

*Sticks the entire banana in my mouth...

And chomps it to a mushy pulp. With my mouth open. With exaggerated chewing movements. So everyone can see*

*Speaks through mouthful of pulpy banana*

Hey, wanna know what happened to me a few weeks ago?

You know. I just Realized how incredibly Disturbing I used to act. I actualy recieved the same kind of pleasure one recieved from looking at a pretty painting from Fantacizing about killing people. And Not Just killing people, killing people in the most inhumane and pianfull ways.

THATS MICHEL MUYERS KINDA TALK! THATS JUST DISTURBING!
What I lost my temper and hurt somebody! What if I hurt somebody I liked! What if I actualy Killed Somebody!

Is this what emotional isolation does to a person? Can I prolong my insanity from bieng on this thread?
