This is the opinion of around 90% of fa/tg/uys, including me (otherwise, we wouldn't hang around there). You just have to learn to put up with endless 40K discussions, "This is your [blank]" and "Stat me" threads, and an excess of tripcode users. Plus some really annoying characters.

I would just like to say two things:

1. I don't think I like it when this thread is off topic. Try to stay on topic, if you please.

2. I just submitted the thread for my new fancomic, Smooth Moves. So...keep your eyes peeled for that, okay?

Yo. Just thought it'd be a good idea to post a link to my newest fancomic for all my fans out there! Also for those prune-sacks (you know who you are) who will want to go over my fancomic work and compare it to my criticism to find hypocrisy and point out how I disobey my own rules.

Great comic Q but I think you should you use a more standard rating system. Like stars or something...

Well, a better rating system would be a good idea though. I mean, what would the difference be between 1 puppy ran over by 2 Buicks and 3 thumbs of a zombie ?

For one, I don't see the reason to systematically rate things. If he's gonna start doing that he might as well remove ratings altogether.

Anyway, I'm starting my old comic (named "Opening") again. It should appear visible soon, as soon as the mods accept it. I'm regularly updating, so I'd like to get a review (when the others are done) so you can place me on the list. It's likely I'll have a moderate number of comics already if its my turn, so that won't be a problem. I liked reading the other reviews.

I actually started reading this one a while ago, but I stopped for one simple reason, which is so simple, it's sad: All the comics in the first post.

Nobody's bandwidth is that good. Least of all mine.

Am I understanding you wrong here? You're saying that having every comic in the first post is a a bad thing? Why?? How fun would it be to have to go threw the entire thread to find when the author updated so you can read it? It's so much smoother to have all the comics in the first post.

Sure you aren't thinking about My Name Is Q?

Cause that was my problem with My Name Is Q. That and the fact that when it did load, all the comic after 112 simply stopped (like, were invisible) halfway through. Almost like they were still loading, but the page was done loading.

Which is weird.

No, having all the comics in picture form in the first post can be a bad thing. Then, if there are a large number of comics in the archive, it can take a long time to load the thread.

Both My Name Is Q and Rob & Jack have the archives as comics in spoilers, rather than direct links to the comics.

Sounds like your browser is timing out the connections. It'll automatically close any connections that have stopped sending data, and it can think that this is the case when handling many connections simultaneously (i.e. loading many images). I don't know of anything you can do to fix it, other than getting a better internet connection.
