Y'know... i'm starting to think that due to the fact that there is always a IA going on (every month, all year) people (like me) have become tired of it.
There's only so often you can do ice cream week, as it were. Maybe do a pause after this one? You need fresh blood (with fresh interest) to keep this thing going, which isn't going to come out of nowhere. Having more judges than contestants isn't gonna play either. So take it easy and let people "recover"? :/
Well, Domochevsky, I'm sorry to hear that. Not the best time for me to be hearing about this whole thing for the first time, I suppose. Ah well. It's still before the deadline, and I've been working on this for a few days, so I might as well post it. I pumped a pretty good dose of manliness into this, if I do say so myself!

My half-dragon appears to be unable to appear in any sort of avatar without hurting something. But that's only be cause he's the MANLIEST half-dragon!

I'm OK with this idea. It would also give me time to catch up on the previous competitions. These are starting to become really stagnant. Anyone else have any input?
Probably an idea. There's also the thing of running out of new ideas and if you wait a bit you could try repeating a theme.

The idea for this one is good but I'm unable to enter as a) I have a whole bunch of other things going on like NaNoDooDooDeDoo, a PbP game that needs to get off the ground and b) it's been months since I last did anything in Inkscape, so it'd probably come out looking like ass. >.>

I haven't been here in YEARS! I used to play games and make avatars. So much fun to rediscover this place! I also haven't tried my hand at avatars in a long time, but this thread looked fun.

*Sigh* I have a couple ideas for this Iron Avatarist, but there won't be time to finish them now. Unless the Good Angel has decided Iron Avatarist will go on hiatus after this competition for a few months, in which case it would be nice if the deadline was extended even more. *sheepish grin*

Iron Avatarist is now taking a Hiatus. I am going to work on the prizes for the previous IAs and on trying to figure out how to make this contest work. I'm planning on bringing it back in early January, which would be the equivalent of skipping one whole contest period.
