Good thing he's sticking to his guns, then.
Also, being a Seeker never goes away. He'll probably eventually need to go and Seek more to keep from going mad. The Objects whisper to you, damage your mind, draw you in like a drug addiction.

Unless something goes seriously wrong, Nephrim's immortal; whilst constantly seeking more power which the Objects could grant and help her towards, she's spent 4,500 years working towards her ends, with one eventual goal which is actually nearing completion.

You know, all those objects remind me of a series called The Lost Room. Good series. There was a bus ticket that when it touched people, teleported them to New Mexico. Of course, there were less useful objects to. Like a watch that would hardboil an egg when it was set in it. Or a radio that made a person 3 inches taller if it was tuned to the right station.
Murkus, Moff, if you two haven't seen it, I'd go and buy it. It's well worth it.
