Speaking of lists, updated the player list and teams list, plus I added a fancy new column to the table so if this gets locked before I can copypaste the table I will probably have a new thing to rage about.

Also: I would be looking at a campaign runthrough of The Passing first because I like to do that before versus.

My point was that regardless of how it plays in versus, Hard Rain is a great map when played in the standard co-op mode which is better than versus.

Today's Penny-Arcade news post made me realize one thing. Valve should make a sequel to Tribes (2), jetpacks and everything. Since the original developers have died a slow death, there's only one company I'd trust to make something remarkable with the Tribes IP. Intense multiplayer, multiple levels of skill for players, insane amount of detail, fair amount of balance, everything.

Or just add jetpacks and skiing to TF2.

Sidetracking a little, does anyone play Synergy Mod? Might be nice to have a GITP/ChHa server for it, or maybe that's wishful thinking on my part.

Hell, could even try a Co-Op LP of the HL2 campaign or something. Maybe.

I still think Spies should be getting those Batman-style grappling guns.

It would fit so well thematically, it would greatly increase mobility and they'd add another dimension to the Spy's limited (in the sense of whenever having more than two targets, Spies usually end up dead) killing power. Apart from game limitations, there's no reason not to add a grappling gun. Some other classes are already able to take advantage of vantage points certain other classes can't reach, a limited grappling hook wouldn't be overpowered in that sense.

Some of the maps would have to take this in consideration for it however, apart from the few sniper spots where it could already be used (Pipeline, Nucleus, for example).
