Ok, I guess it doesn't really matter what we decide to do at this point, huh?
So let's let Elodie enjoy in solitude the final weekend of her childhood.
And now, her new outfit...
Luckily, this gives us a conversational boost.
Remember to speak from the diaphragm, Elodie!
We can BS with the best of them now. Like a proper politician!
But now we've killed people, and stopped wars, and earned magical girl outfits.
we are a woman.
I guess being in Boarding School and a princess means that things like that happen sometimes... :(
It was the last time you would ever see her.
Way to make this kind of a depressing occaison, game.
You wonder if, wherever she is, she can see you now.
Either Elodie isn't sure whether or not there is a heaven, or she's not sure if her mom went there or not. THe possibilities are endless and amusing.
And here we are. At our coronation, in a fancy cape and crown.
We've made it.
This isn't Selene, FYI. Though it should have been, in my opinion. It'd just save on characters.
"Will you to the best of your power uphold the ideals of love, honor, justice, and mercy?"
"Will you promise not to turn evil, even though for some reason almost all living queens are less good than princesses?"
"You who have come to give homage, will you do the same?"
Heck yeah. KNEEL, WORMS!
Yeah, none of this contested stuff. You had your chance.
Aaaah....Nothing warms my heart like a good closing title-drop.
Live Long and Reign well, little player character. You've been an amusing source of foolish innocence, but now it's time for you to leave the nest...
Aaannd....Heart Out for our ending.
Depending on our choices and certain actions, the nature of the epilogues will change.
Let's see what we earned.
I assume they were happy, though I suppose it's a political marriage; they're good with just a big wedding.
Mmm....Less than great, that. But I guess we do what we must.
Here's what we get for hiring Lucille and getting that crystal: proof that our cousin is alive, since some of you weren't sure.
And some other stuff.
But onto happier notes...
Children emulating us in the streets, and Selene and Julianna getting to live happily ever after.
Most endings don't end with them happy together like this; it's one of the reasons I like this ending. I like all the endings where we manage to spread some happiness, so this is one of many reasons I like the duel path.
And they train a magical girl, spreading more happiness!
I've never gotten this bit of ending before, so let's applaud a happy Briony.
Things aren't perfectly happy...But we'll take what we can get, right?
And we undertook our duties as a magical queen of Nova, as the future stretches out...
And that's Long Live the Queen, everyone! Or at least some of it.
I hope y'all have had some fun joining me in this run. We did some neat stuff, and we showed off some of what this game has had to offer.
I know I've enjoyed it, so let's give you guys, the game's creators, and me a round of applause.
We did it. We beat the game.
The game is over.
Long Live the game!
