Hehe, funny, but I actually think the dragon looks rather spiffy...maybe when he works out he can eviscerate anyone who annoys him he'll be happy with his situation

True, needs to be fixed, I just ctrl C'd it to a new tab, that worked.
Its a self-reference. The moon with yellow eyes. Phase's avatar. Figured that out some time ago.

What makes me curious is the result to Dan, since he was connected by two of those things from Mental Database as well.

I think that spell made Dan gain telepathic-contact with Jerry since well otherwise they would not be able to talk to each other.

Actually, it sounds like you're just really dedicated to this, and that you're enjoying it enough that you want to map it all out. Which is good. I wish I had your work ethic for silly comic settings.

If it's worth doing, it's worth overdoing!!!

I think I figured out a possible solution to the plot-hole:

The Dragon has no nerve endings in its tail, and is incapable of moving it's rigid neck in a manner that would allow it to see itself.

    It works, right?

Well, it works, but it... doesn't...

Anyway, who knows what the real answer is? Maybe the hobo is an unreliable source? Maybe Jerry's just that stupid? Who knows?

Certainly seems like an Unreliable Narrator scenario, I very much doubt a creature unable to turn to look at itself would be quite the top predator Dragons tend to be.

Hmmm. Didn't Phase say they were endangered, or something like that? What if it's a really primitive type of dragon? (Phase, feel free to debunk me.)

It's a weak explanation no matter how you slice it, but it's still an explanation.

Yes, all dragons are actually endangered, due to human hunting. For wyverns, rigid-backed wyverns are in a sharper decline.

Aha! You see? The Wyvern's spine is too stiff! It can't bend its neck enough to look at itself, and for one reason or another this is causing a decline in their population!

Did I just pull a Miko?

Its neck is flexible, it's only its back and tail that are stiff.

What do you mean by "Pull a Miko"?

Miko (Mi-ko) n. 1. A radical, illogical, or poorly thought-out conclusion drawn by facts that don't really support it that makes little sense to anyone besides the person "pulling" the Miko. 2. A fictional female character in Rich Burlew's Order of the Stick, who frequently jumps to greatly nonsensical conclusions.

Wait. If my theory's not it, then what is causing a sharper decline in stiff-spined Wyverns than other Dragons?

Regular Darwinism. They can't stand up to the rigors of a changing world as well as other dragons, and so cannot properly survive. The advantage that the rigid tail and back gave them has become more of a liability than a help now.
