Re: Dragon: an OotS-Style Webcomic
I wonder how he will react when he finds out that he is now the ugly dragon.

Re: Dragon: an OotS-Style Webcomic
Hehe, funny, but I actually think the dragon looks rather spiffy...maybe when he works out he can eviscerate anyone who annoys him he'll be happy with his situation

Re: Dragon: an OotS-Style Webcomic

Re: Dragon: an OotS-Style Webcomic
True, needs to be fixed, I just ctrl C'd it to a new tab, that worked.
Its a self-reference. The moon with yellow eyes. Phase's avatar. Figured that out some time ago.
What makes me curious is the result to Dan, since he was connected by two of those things from Mental Database as well.

Re: Dragon: an OotS-Style Webcomic
Alright, I fixed the comic in the OP. Also, like Dan says in comic six, there IS a telepathic link.

Yay, nitpicking ahoy!
In comic 6, panel 6 you write "telepthic" instead of "telepathic".
And overall a great comic, can't wait tofind more mistakesread the next oneAvatar by the great Lord Herman. Many, many thanks!

Re: Dragon: an OotS-Style Webcomic
Oh noes! A typo? Me?
Thank you for that. Just assume he misspoke.
Anyway, I'm working on a plot map, and currently have the whole world mapped out, inch for inch...
Am I overdoing it? I mean, I have the first chapter of a novel written in-character about one kingdom in the world...

Re: Dragon: an OotS-Style Webcomic
Actually, it sounds like you're just really dedicated to this, and that you're enjoying it enough that you want to map it all out. Which is good. I wish I had your work ethic for silly comic settings.
If it's worth doing, it's worth overdoing!!!
100th reply!

Re: Dragon: an OotS-Style Webcomic
I think I figured out a possible solution to the plot-hole:
The Dragon has no nerve endings in its tail, and is incapable of moving it's rigid neck in a manner that would allow it to see itself.
It works, right?

Re: Dragon: an OotS-Style Webcomic
Certainly seems like an Unreliable Narrator scenario, I very much doubt a creature unable to turn to look at itself would be quite the top predator Dragons tend to be.

Re: Dragon: an OotS-Style Webcomic
Miko (Mi-ko) n. 1. A radical, illogical, or poorly thought-out conclusion drawn by facts that don't really support it that makes little sense to anyone besides the person "pulling" the Miko. 2. A fictional female character in Rich Burlew's Order of the Stick, who frequently jumps to greatly nonsensical conclusions.
Wait. If my theory's not it, then what is causing a sharper decline in stiff-spined Wyverns than other Dragons?
