You just aren't being creative enough. If they are a gadget villain, disintegrate their gadgets. If they are super tough, disintegrate things selectively so the objects drop on them. If you are up high, make a hole under them. Trapping a none flier in a deep, smoothly lined is an option for several power levels.
Villainy is for the uncreative.

I'm just playing along, if you get the power to disintegrate everything and everyone you don't just dig holes or break their stuff, you turn them into dust!
Because it's far more fun this way!

I got Amalgamation last night. Seems like a pretty cool power. Though, I suppose it really depends on what exactly I can do with it. All very cool, but all very different power sets.

Just now I got Transmutation. also awesome. Requires a lot more knowledge than most. I think I'd end up becoming sorta like a super-powered version of macguyver.

Hmm... That last power could be incredibly powerful with access to the right games. Huge Armies at my command, All sorts of magic and technology, and if I can put people inside games... Well, how on earth do you get out of a sandbox game?

Well let's see what you can do. Seeing as you absorb sound, you only need the most basic of training to be a ninja. You can even sneak up on people with super-human hearing because there is literally no sound coming from you.

Depending on how far this ability operates, you can lead a crack squad of commandos to take out complexes with ease. Who needs a silencer when you can make that bazooka, sniper rifle, and fully automatic machine gun as quiet as space itself?

You are an expert torture/interrogator because you can drive people insane!

Depending on how fine-tuned your control is, you could absorb only parts of sounds to mess up conversations between people, making them think the other said something they didn't and vice-verse.

Came up with these in about a few minutes. Who knows what else you could do with more creativity.

See, if I'd stopped to think about it, instead of simply assuming I had immunity to sonic-based attacks like the picture implied, I probably would have thought of this stuff.

The idea of a silenced bazooka is immensly satisfying, though I'd have to train myself to use one (perhaps get weight training so that I can actually lift it). And of course, I live in the UK, so I'd have to deal with gun control :/

Didn't know that stuff about silence driving people crazy though. How do the deaf cope?

And, of course, the most useful effect of all... just plain getting people to shut up!

Basically, I destroy stuff. I disintegrate it, level it with an earthquake or a tsunami or a nice tornado, strike it with a meteor or, much less interesting by this point, I burn it down.

Edit: Ok for some reason plants, darkness, energy in general and even poison count as elements now. So I may not be omnipotent but I'm pretty close to being a god for all intended purposes...

There are also some powers that may seem morally ambiguous. They're not necessarily lethal, but if you use them, it's likely someone might get hurt.

Looking at Electro-Geokinesis, this can genuinely hurt someone. Electrified rock, steel, etc., nothing is a non-conductive material for me. Except rubber. I'm like Cole McGrath, but with a little bit of Earthbending "oomph".

Thus, I think that there should be something along the lines of Morally Ambiguous Superheroes, or MASH.

Let's amplify my powers, to see if I can be of any more use to LUTAS, without fulfilling the limits of my brief...

Light Absorption. So I can act as a human dimmer switch, which with the general switch to energy-saving lightbulbs, could be useful in social situations. And I can feed off daylight, in case I decide I hate the taste of food, or my remaining superpowers are somehow insufficient to provide me with enough.

And Desert Manipulation. So this is basically similar to Aquaman's powers over water, except that the proportion of the planet covered by desert is much smaller than that covered by water, and the wildlife that inhabits deserts is remarkably unimpressive in any sort of superheroic context.

I think LUTAS remains a valid career option.
