I'm not exactly sure why you'd think that way. I mean, it's probably really obvious and I'll be facepalming heavily when you explain yourself, but still... mind explaining why you think so?

A Malconvoker's free metamagic adjustment applied to Repeat a summoning spell gets you two demons for the same price. You could go with two succubi, true, but the message doesn't become a double-entendre (pun not intended) if you don't use two incubi.

I forgot the first one, and I don't feel like browsing tvtropes to find it.

The second one is from "Does not play well with others," from the same author as Exploitation now and Errant Story.

The final three are all from "Gilded age," which I highly recommend. It starts pretty well, and only becomes better with the huge twist half-way into the plot.

That up there's funny, but neverless underscores for me why a serious or realistic campaign needs to be noted as such beforehand.

So agreed. It's hilarious but does point out a few issues. Also make sure to tell the PC's that collateral damage does not count as bonus XP, otherwise you're just begging them to do strafing runs without firing solutions.

Not to quibble, but by far the most likely impact is going to be a sun or a completely lifeless planetoid. Now, if you're above an inhabited planet and firing in its general direction, you're a jerk. But otherwise...

Therefore, if you are attacking a planet, try to get between the defenders and the planet. If the defenders are sensible, they won't want to risk friendly fire on their civilian population. If they DO take the chance, then that's that much less resistance once you defeat the defenders…

Trouble with that plan is that this is space. Advanced trajectory calculations are required to do ANYTHING, targeting is going to be incredibly simple. And then keep in mind that since space is so very empty, you can have a shooting solution from the other end of the solar system. Heck, if you use laser weapons, the enemy won't even realize they're under fire until they're getting hit.
