Default Virtual Cake and Ice Cream for Rich, plus...

Ok, so I'm seriously NOT trying to be any kind of a smart arse here. This is NOT a thread asking when the next comic is coming or anything like that.

I thought it might be nice if we could send some positive vibes Rich's way (that's the virtual cake and ice cream part), in case he's feeling crappy or really busy or whatever. Or just because.

I also thought it might be nice if people could share some current events about what's going on with OoTS related stuff right now, for news-impaired people like myself.

I know that there's a new place to shop for OoTS stuff right now, the ookadook.com or whatever mentioned in the latest news update. And the 'Don't Split the Party' book is supposed to be coming out at the end of the month. That's all I really know about with regard to any of the latest OoTS events for my part.

Virtual Cake/Ice Cream Pairing for Rich:

I like chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream and Red Velvet cake. Not sure if they'd go well together, but that's going to be my virtual pairing that I'm sending to Rich. I'll have to try them together some time in real life and see how well they complement one another (here's hoping it's not a nasty combination).

Sadly, it has a chance of devolving into that.

Boy, do you people get around.

Disclaimer: I like the crack-pairings thread, I lurk there. Also, hopefully someone actually got the joke I made.

I find it odd that people other than me say it most of the time.

Possibly, but if it happens I'm hoping that the infractions will be handled on an individual basis as opposed to a thread-wide basis.

Crack pairings are almost certainly the result of an overly long gag where I walk in on extremely suggestive stuff (X-rated shadow puppets, complete with "sound effects") AND walking in on people making out (17 in less than 2 hours.), combined with the fact that I've never rolled anything but a 1 in the romance department.

As it is, Here's some chocolate cake for Rich.

I'm infinitely amused that you found an odd number of people making out. Was someone macking on a mirror?

Cake, ice cream, cookies and everything Rich wants for him! He deserves them. :D

I really did mean well in my earlier thread, I'm really hoping you feel better.

Updated list:

- Red Velvet cake/Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough ice cream.
- Chocolate Cake/no ice cream.
- Chicken soup (old family recipe), with no cake or ice cream.
- Brown Cow Ice cream/Death by chocolate cake. (If too much chocolate ever COULD kill someone, I'm thinking this is the pair that might do it.)
- Neapolitan ice cream/Angel food cake.

I offer an ice-cream based milkshake of vanilla mixed with some strawberry syrup. Also, delicious chocolate cake (I don't know much about cake).

2 follow up statements. 1: After I finish my game, I'm going to go read some Crack Pairings, and then, depending on what I find there, I may cry and wish I hadn't. Probably not, though.
2: I need to find my blender. I really want a milkshake...

Latest list:

- Red Velvet cake/Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough ice cream.
- Chocolate Cake/no ice cream.
- Chicken soup (old family recipe), with no cake or ice cream.
- Brown Cow Ice cream/Death by chocolate cake. (If too much chocolate ever COULD kill someone, I'm thinking this is the pair that might do it.)
- Neapolitan ice cream/Angel food cake.
- Ice-cream based milkshake of vanilla mixed with some strawberry syrup/chocolate cake.

Some of this is sounding pretty tasty.

I'm heading out for the night, but as a parting comment I must say that with all of the creativity that's been thrown into the Crack Pairings thread I'm thinking there's no reason people shouldn't be able to come up with some REALLY interesting cake and ice cream combinations.

Have a good night everyone.

In case he's lactose intolerant, or doesn't drink milk, or whatever, I'm giving him some sorbet.

Mmh... My favourite one would have to be a blackberry-cherry mix. Hope he likes berries.

As for the cake, I'm sending a chocolate/apple sauce cake. Tried it recently, it's delicious.

If he can't have either of these for whatever reason I'll gladly eat them myself :P

Paired with vanilla ice cream on the side. REAL vanilla, with the beans in.

The 4th comic book is the only thing I know about for certain. I was told that the comic was on hold again, but I couldn't find an announcement about it (then again, the forum search keeps timing out, so I can't say either way). It's been three weeks since the last update, so it sounds plausible. Maybe another prequel/not-main-comic book coming out? That would be good.

I know that there's a new place to shop for OoTS stuff right now, the ookadook.com or whatever mentioned in the latest news update. And the 'Don't Split the Party' book is supposed to be coming out at the end of the month. That's all I really know about with regard to any of the latest OoTS events for my part.
Right, so you've seen the latest News Update and yet you expect us to have even more up-to-date info than that? How would that work?

It's actually been about ten days. The comic isn't on hold; if it were, there would have been an announcement in the "News" section of the site. That's what it's there for. NO ONE on these boards other than Rich himself has any more current news than what shows up there. Anything else is speculation, nothing more.

The #687 thread was posted by Rich on the 24th. That was three weeks (minus two days) ago, a far cry from "about ten".

Okay, I'll take your word for it. I don't spend much time on the forums. Glad to see that they moved to a new server, though!
