Tobias does not make any sort of expression or suggest that he might know anything about Flemish. Even if he does. And even if the conversation is quite interesting...

Instead, he asks Phoebe Paige *who is still blushing in his presence* for a cup of dark coffee, and peruses the menu for breakfast.

"...Baconham?"

[Reinholdt]

"Uuhh... Yeah..." Zee responds slowly as she tries to decipher the scrawling. It looks like they're just normal letters. Except with a bunch of other junk scribbled all over them. Makes it really hard to read... "Darkness, destruction, Nirvana... Sounds like your average doom prophecy sorta thing. We get lots of those around here!"

She doesn't sound terribly concerned.

At Butler's comment the demoness leeeeeans forward.

"Well... no, not really... They both have a fake eye?"

Then a shrug.

"Magtok is covered in blood often times too. But it's usually his..."

That silly cyborg.

"Exactly ma'am! It's the eye ma'am. Really makes them a pair ma'am."

Butler pauses. "I don't think I've ever seen Magtok covered in blood though ma'am. Are you sure we're talking about the same Magtok ma'am?"
Cause if there's two out there, that would be SO confusing.

Minat leeeeeans back. "Y-you don't understand! H-he's broken the r-rules, and he m-made me help him! H-e can do anyth-thing now! The w-whispers tell him!"

[The Bushranger]

"Bamhacon," Marcie corrects. "Is tasty."
"Very much so. The Court of Stars Salad is quite good, as well."

Smiling at Paige, she orders a llamaade; Marcie does as well.

[Trobby]

"I...see...I'll have to try it as well..but I think I will try this..bamhacon...it at least comes with eggs, and I know eggs pretty well." He hands his menu to Paige. "Scrambled, please."

Phoebe nods, and runs off to get the trio their drinks.

"So...how is it that you and Marcie know each other, Val?"

Butler is simply given an odd look by Zee.

He's never seen Maggy covered in his own blood before?

Must not pay attention very much.

Then comes the crazy doctor's crazy rambling.

"Hey hey, slow down there a bit," the demonic waitress protests, waving her hands in the typical 'calm down' fashion. "Who's this 'He' you're talking about? Some kind of evil overlord villan guy? Because this is really starting to sound like a plot hook to me."

And she knows plot hooks when she hears them!

If someone wants to order food try tossing something at Zee.

That'll get her attention.

"He's broken the rules sir? That's not very nice sir."
That's... like... being mean! Or something.
Unless it was speeding. No one cares about speeding.

[The Bushranger]

"Valeriya saved my life," Marcie explains with the short version.

Val blushes. "Remember when I mentioned Attorre? We were looking for an island hideout. And found an abandoned base, with Marcie in a cyro-tube. Turned out the island had gotten jumped from another dimenson, and stuck there. We thawed her out, and we've been friends ever since."

Another shiver goes through Minat; his flesh-and-blood eye darts nervously around the tavern, and the artificial one continues to roll. "I c-cannot say. I am o-oathbound. Only when the w-whispers take me..." Desperately, he reaches for his new mug of hot chocolate and takes a sip. "Ahhhh... we d-do not have such things at home," he sighs.

[Recaiden]

Ashna undeadtimes, making sandwiches behind the bar.
"Hey there Zee. Glad to see you're back to handle this job. Now, did you sort out that 'Waking up from life' and 'I'm immortal' thing in a manner that I won't have to kill you for?"
She rests a hand on her pendant, silently cursing Maralah.

Llamanades are provided to Br's characters, with a friendly nod.

[Trobby]

"Ah, so you and her have a friendship like that...it's a truly noble thing you did then, Valeriya, to have saved her life."

Captain Tobias smiles at her, and takes his coffee as it arrives, the Bamhacon needing a little longer, as he takes a quick drink of the black as night coffee.

"What exactly is a cryo-tube? Are you saying she was frozen in ice?"

Two men at another table begin moving again,

"Ugh...how long have we been here..." the once panther-man asks.

A week, maybe. Possibly more.
Drew looks around.

"Least I could do," Val says, blushing a bit.
Marcie smiles, and pokes her friend in the arm, smiling and nodding back with gratitude as the drinks are provided!

Jamie arrives and washes Ashna's mouth out with soap for cursing her friend.

"...you'd be right. Not so much a block of ice as 'flash frozen' to supercold temperatures, slowing the body's metabolism to a very, very, extremely slow rate," Val explains.

"Commander still there," Marcie says sadly. "Too long to thaw. I, almost was same."
