June's grabbing of her shoulder, fortunately, pulls Talia out of the way of Gamma Girl's punch, and she nods in agreement.

"Yes. Yes it is. Things are getting distinctly unnice here."

With that, so long as June also does so, she turns to flee the area!

And off they flee, though where to is unsure as of now.

The Rebites are totally into attacking the Cannon Towers and totally ignoring the silly dragon who keeps smashing headlong into things. The siege is too dangerous to be left alone!

And the walls seem to be standing up against the onslaught admirably!

The dragon smashes down another portal!

And the Cannon Towers explode two more!

Connie now has a ton of Blokz from all the Rebites she has slain!

But wait... what's this?

The remaining portal/tower heaves into the air as dozens of Rebites pile onto it! "Come everyone! GROUP FORMATION!"

Oh noes! They're melding together to create a giant portal-holding Giga-Rebotron!

Cue boss battle music!

"Oh that poor Eevee!" cries Nurse Joey. Who happens to be a hulking, burly guy. Nurse Joy must be on break or something. "We'll have him fixed right up for you in no time at all!"

And thus the Pokemon is taken away to be healed!

...it'll take a while. Longer than the usual five seconds one is accustomed to in the games.

Maybe Becca should find someone to talk to! Like those two kids playing DSes. Or that shady-as-hell guy in the trench-coat. Or that charming looking fellow in the purple hat and the smashing black and red uniform? Oh! Or maybe that old man rambling about how to use Pokeballs? Ooooor that girl with the Jigglypuff? Ha! Is that the Hiker Becca beat a few days ago to catch Glamdring? Hope he still isn't sore about it...

So many choices!

Pokemon Centre

Becca is met with the sterile smell of disinfectants. The lobby of the Pokemon Centre is as warm and welcoming as it can be, considering just what it is. The walls are lined with couches, where various trainers sit nervously waiting for their injured pokemon. At the end of the lobby, a Blissy stands behind a desk next to the Nurse who took her Eevee. A pair of flapping doors stand behind them, STAFF ONLY painted onto them in white. "I'm the world's only talking Blissy!" says the large pink thing as it waddles off, desperately hoping that joke was still funny. Becca is left alone.

Should she wander off, she'll find that loitering near the corner is a tall, broad man wearing a trench coat. He shuffles up to Becca, glancing side to side.
"Hey. Hey kid. You wanna buy a really amazing pokemon?"

Becca leaves her other pokemon with Nurse Joey as well. *nodnod*

She wanders away from the counter, avoiding that hiker. <.< She's about to go take a seat when she's approached by the shady man. "Ooh, what kind of awesome pokemon? Is it rare?" She has a bunch of extra money from beating all those hikers. Not to mention beating her new rival. She doesn't even think to question such an obviously suspicious character.

Pokemon Centre

The trench-coated man grins a toothy, somewhat yellow grin. "Oh, sure," he says. "Not another pokemon 'round here like it. Power incomparable with any other pokemon." The man has a lot of trouble saying 'incomparable,' but he sticks through it. "Whaddaya say, kid? Only a thousand poke-bucks and it's all yours." Reaching under his trenchcoat, the man pulls out a pokeball. He holds it in one hand, angled just so that it catches the light and glimmers.

It glimmers. o.o

"One thousand?" That's a lot. That'd be most of her money, and she needs to buy new pokeballs too. But rare pokemon... "Okay, deal." She gets out the cash. "But you need to give me the ball first." Ooh, she's a shrewd dealer. Get the merchandise first then hand over the money. =O

[Mr. Moon]

The man laughs. It's a creepy, breathy little laugh that doesn't fit his frame at all. "Heh. Aren't you a clever little dealer? Sorry kid, no can do. You put those poke-bucks in my hand or I walk away." He moves to put his pokeball back into his coat.

Becca bites her lip. Crap! "Okay fine." She shoves the money at him and holds her hand out expectantly for the ball. Stupid shady guy.

[Mr. Moon]

"See? That wasn't so hard," the shady-looking man grins as he takes the money. He makes a point of counting out the bills first, before tucking them into his pocket. "Alright, looks good." He hands Becca the pokeball. "Enjoy, kid."
And then he walks away, out of the pokecentre.

Becca will probably never see him again! Yay!

The Wight hisses at the poor clueless rube and begins to circle him! Slowly creeping around the guy as he flails his weapon ineffectually. Once he follows its movements far enough that arm that got chopped off begins to wriggle.

...and crawl toward him.

Unless he notices the limb will try to seize him by the ankle!

This...

Really won't acomplish much. Aside from destracting him. Should he take his eyes off the Wight for even a moment the horrible undead monster will pounce with all the ferocity of a one-armed horrible undead monster!

Rawr!

Well, Dwayne falls for that trick in an instant, not only losing track of the severed arm as his eyes and blade follow the rest of the ghoul, but worse yet, lowering his guard out of surprise for a brief and potentially fatal second.

This is presumably when the ghoul pounces. And that would be when Dwayne loses his self-composure entirely, letting out a rather unheroic shriek and hurling the first thing at hand right at the incoming undead!

And the first thing at hand, fortunately enough, happens to be a rather potent healing potion just brimming with positive energies of the sort that tend to fry the **** outta the undead. Certainly a lot better use for the potion than wasting it on a measly papercut. Whatever happens though, Dwayne gets tackled and thrown to the ground, as web if the potion does harm the ghoul it can't dissipate forward momentum.

Wow!

Wasn't that an adventure!

And things are about to get better, too!

Becca should be able to hear a fair bit of yelling from the back room. Several of the voices are a bit hard to identify. But one of them is without a doubt Glamdring. And he sounds angry!

Or at least frightened, grumpy, and irritated.

Hmmm...

Was that an 'Eon!' he just yelled?

...

About three seconds later a Drageon comes ripping through the swinging doors at full speed, his teeny wings pumping to drive him forward faster before he launches himself over the counter and lands gracefully next to Becca!

He stands his ground, taking up a defensive stance next to her!

Nurse Joey comes running through the door moments later, panting. "Wow! That little guy is quite the fireball! He went ballistic and started yelling 'Becca' as soon as he woke up!"

Possibly brushing past the shady man as he walks out, a newcomer drifts in!

Like, really. I mean, okay, she's not literally drifting, as her feet never leave the ground, but she sort of gives that impression as she sort of ambles slowly inwards towards the desk, eyes slightly unfocused and generally giving the impression she's not altogether there.

Becca glares after the shady man. Oh well, at least she got a rare pokemon. =D Maybe she should see what it is. She glances at the newcomer with vague interest, but she has more important things on her mind!

...Like shouting. Oh boy. She whirls around in time to see Glamdring return to her side. "Thank goodness you're okay." She says with obvious relief. No doubt every pokedex in the room is chattering about the completely unfamiliar pokemon. Maybe we'll even find out what it says when Rebo posts. =O

"Oh, uh, sorry. Thanks for healing him up." Becca walks toward the deck, next to the (not really)floaty woman, gesturing to Glamdring to follow. "Are Shroomy and Phanish ready too?"

A building is here where there was not one before.

A simple if gaudy orange roof stretches over the top, and out the front is a sign with a few large letters on the front with smaller text beneath:

"POKE"

The glass doors slide open and out strolls a man dressed simply, who stops, opens his mouth, and turns back inside.

A pause.

He peeks his head out and says something that can't quite be made out, but I'm sure it would make it past Gitp's language filter if it could be.

But back to the building. If one were to look past that man - who is currently tossing a small rock out to see if the ground's real - they'd see large mountains of mud and the beginnings of a pool which extends out past the back walls and into the large open area there. A variety of... creatures are seen lounging about the area, some fighting, some asleep, and many of them eating.

This sure seems to be a pokemon gym.

Indeed if the floaty woman were more aware of her surroundings she would probably marvel at the new Eevee-lution that she's most definitely never seen before. But instead she just seems to stand there at the desk, smiling vaguely and boring a hole in the wall with her thousand yard stare.

Peter, still invisible, will run after him. Door closes in his face though.

He sends an illusion of a random generic person in first. Just to be sure.
Oh, there's the wire! He lets illusion person get sliced in half! Gruesome sight, lots of blood. Peter himself will sneak in after, careful to avoid said wire and stays very quiet. Wonder what creepy string guy is up to.

If he is going to slow down, due to getting hit by a door and a trap. He will see the strange guy on the top of the famous dragon cropse. He currently cut with a special knife through the wing, cutting out the wing chord. He seems nearly done . It seems like he just jumped up there and didn't watch the illusion die.

Before Fade leaves the ship he disappear.

"It's best if one of us hides. Just don't worry it won't hurt."

Fade then tries to hide in his shadow. which would get Teq a cold shiver over his neck. The feeling will be gone after a few moments. If that works I assume Jane doesn't call his name.

Peter will sneak in just to see the white-haired man cutting into the dragon.
He has no idea what the man is doing, so he waits, still invisible, and hopes the others figure out where he went.
He's got a gut feeling something very bad is going to happen.

Seeing that the loose animals are contained now, Krystal turns her attention back to where everybody else is.

Come on. We should go check on them.

Keeper nods, and, assuming Krystal heads off to do so, follows her, staying linked unless she seems to object, as it makes him more effective, doesn't appear to be hindering her, especially since it means she's got something to keep her from getting harmed while she's focusing on throwing her crystals, and lets them both know where the other is.

And off they flee, though where to is unsure as of now.

If Talia is leading, that would be to the DFI, as she doesn't wish to drag anything down on her current place of residence.

Otherwise, naturally enough, it's up to June.

It won't take long to cut out the wing chords and with a happy expression he puts them both in his pocket. Then the prepares some of the strings holding the dragon with his own strings and heads for the emergency exit.

Peter obviously can't let him escape, so he makes the emergency exit vanish.
It's an illusion of course, but when he touches the wall he'll feel no door.

The guy looks the vanishing door. He goes over touching the wall.

"You start to annoy me."

He will first try to kick against the wall where the door was. If that didn't break the illusion he will start other things.

Keeper nods, and, assuming Krystal heads off to do so, follows her, staying linked unless she seems to object, as it makes him more effective, doesn't appear to be hindering her, especially since it means she's got something to keep her from getting harmed while she's focusing on throwing her crystals, and lets them both know where the other is.

Krystal does indeed take off. And she raises no objections to staying linked.

When she reaches the area, she'll look for signs of her new partners. Them still being invisible, she can't very well see them. They might hear her footsteps as she approaches, though.

"Should you be doing this? Won't we get in trouble?"
"What's to get in trouble for? The service is free, I'm just expanding it to my home. Shouldn't need to trudge out of the PokeCenter every time I want to see another buddy."
"I...guess. Just doesn't feel right."
"Don't worry so much, bro. If it makes you feel better we can even put up a sign to say we have it, okay? Public service."
"Okay...are you almost done?"
"Yeah, just have to connect to the regional server and then plug in the transfer doodad. Ten minutes, tops!"

Set up in the front room of two brothers' home is a sprawling expanse of wires and computer hardware, with some other more arcane pieces of equipment.
For the most part, there is an organization to the chaos, with the majority of wires connecting a PC unit, a small generator, and what appears to be a bulky cupcake tin, with spherical indentations. The majority of the mess is sequestered into a corner, but there are wires that stretch across the room to seek additional wall sockets.

Little mess eats a lot of power.

The older of the two brothers sits at a stool in front of the computer, rapidly typing away at a mess of code, periodically stopping to think and gnaw on the side of his thumb.
The younger sits on the floor nearby, rolling a small blue and white sphere between his hands.

"Hm...server's using some sort of weird fracture-grid. Access point is being elusive."
"Maybe so people can't just do this? Probably be bad if the criminal people could just do it and hack other trainer's storage boxes."
"Well, yes, that'd be bad. But I'm not trying to hack other boxes, just allow legitimate log-ins. Oh hello, what is this..."
"Find the way in?"
"I think so...or, no...wait. This hub hasn't been used in years. Isn't even restricted access. Just disconnected."
"Probably empty...just find the right one, we don't need to dig around in that stuff okay? We might get in trouble."
"No one's even looked at this since about six years ago, I don't think anyone will notice if I nudge around. Code is all kinds of out of date too. Almost isn't compatible with the main system."

The elder brother's eyes light up, filled with curiosity and accomplishment, as he types his way deeper into the archaic system.
He had been prepared for the more complex, secure system that modern computers use, so this particular task was almost too easy. Technology has skyrocketed leaps and bounds since those older years, in both security and privacy.

"Hey, can you plug in the ball tray? I'm almost set."
"Um, yeah, sure."

The front of the house explodes out onto the street, mixed pieces of rubble and furniture trailing through the air and landing across the pavement.

A peculiar figure darts out between two pieces of rock, pausing in the middle of the street to tremble and stare at its leaf-shaped arms.

Its entire body is a mixture of sharp and thin, attached to curved and bulbous.
The arms attach to a thin trunk, which leads off towards a wide, saucer shaped waist and a pair of plain legs.
Its head is large for its mostly lithe body, a white orb with a set of almost gill-like protrusions on the side, and a green, crested mass on its head in the place of hair, almost like a helmet, curling down in front of its face and almost obscuring a pair of large eyes.
A green upper body and arms, a white lower body and legs, and what appears to be a odd shard of red rammed through its chest.

There are some who may be familiar with this creature.


It shakes its head for several moments, as if trying to clear away ugly thoughts, only to end up screaming down into the ground in anguish.
A sudden burst of speed, leaving a trailing blur in the air, and the creature is up on the opposite building's roof, to then sprint off deeper into the city.

Peter grins, annoyed people are more likely to do rash things.
The illusion does not break by kicking, unfortunately for the man.

Peter stays invisible and hidden, but the shadows on the walls are slowly turning into some sort of shadow monsters. Completely with claws and other scary things. They're just shadows, though, and they're creeping towards the white-haired man.

Oh, GG is yelling. He'll remove the rest of the team's illusions but will stay invisible himself.

Hearing another voice the guy is sure a person is around here. And with the remove the illusion it is save to say that the things are just good illusions.

He watches out for any hint of another illusion expecting the shadows. If there is a small hint to see Peter or get his location he will get his hands together again creating a net to throw it against him. Catching him, not killing him like the police man.

The illusions in the building are still working, and Peter's still invisible.
The team, however, is not.

Meanwhile the shadows are trying to wind themselves around the man's legs.

Mister Marble follows! Well, I say follows. In truth he probably gets there before Gamma Girl does, what with being taller and having longer strides. Also, not having any breath to run out of means he can sprint forever without getting tired. Handy, that.

He slams over the door, and moves into the exhibit itself with a littler more caution.
"Stay behind me, please." You're not made out of marble, and are therefore distressingly squishy.

Connie jumps up and back, flying backwards to her cannon tower. What are you supposed to do in this situation?

...Connie uses all her blokz to upgrade and repair her tower.

Yes. All the blokz. What's that? There is only so high the tower can be upgraded? Too bad. ALL THE BLOKZ.

Xerga began looking around for something to drink. Also, preferably, something to hurt...sure she, like any barbarian worth her salt, hated the civilized peoples, but she had to eat something.
