Arziak fades into the void, quickly transporting himself to another area of it. He sighs inwardly, feeling his power refreshed. Feeling that he has done enough for the mortal world for the time being, Arziak chooses to empower himself. Drawing in his innate divine capabilities, he grins as the rush of magic flows through him. He lets the magic outward, forming it into two powerful objects.

The first is a long, white staff, seeming to made of light. It crackles with electricity, and the archmage clutches it in his left hand.
The second is a ring, made of dark metal, with a large, violet gem in the middle. He wears this on the second finger of his right hand, and it seems to burn with pale, eldritch fire.

Arziak smiles to himself, knowing that, should battle come, he will be prepared to defend himself properly.

    Artoran – The Void
Using the powers of the Mask, Artoran begins his plans. It begins as a whisper, spreading across the Material Plane, seeking out small groups of individuals, moving them to battle and bloodshed. It was a perfect plan, foolproof! Akna would pay for her intervention, and the sounds of battle would ring out on the plane below.

Lunaeri Delegation – High Onari Capital
It begins as a whisper in the back of their minds. Then it grows stronger, more demanding. They try to fight it at first, but slowly are forced to bend to the will of Artoran. Finding whatever weapons they can from swords, to bows, to knives, they head towards the palace, the home of the queen, a red aura glowing around each and every one of them. They were not all armed, but it was of no matter. Soon enough they would be. They would have weapons.

A guard at the gate tries to stop the small band of warriors. The lead Lunaeri doesn’t even slow his stride, drawing a knife and hurling it at just one of many obstacles in his way. The blade flies true, blessed by Artoran, finding the guards throat, dropping him to the ground. The few Lunaeri who had not yet been armed rush to take his weapons, arming themselves. They slip in through the gate, running fast enough to dash through before it slams shut behind them.

As a single deadly body the small delegation cut their way through the palace. Normally these Lunaeri wouldn’t have made it past the palace gate, but with the blessings of Artoran they do that and so much more. They are perfect warriors; unstoppable. Any attack directed at them falls just short, missing the Lunaeri diplomats by a hair’s breadth. Even when a blow gets through the blessings of a god, the Lunaeri press on as if they feel no pain. Their assailants can only watch on in horror as their foes’ wounds heal before their very eyes, flesh stitching itself back together.

The Lunaeri’s blows are amplified, made more powerful than needed. What would be a simple scratch from one of their swords can result in the loss of a limb or decapitation where none would exist before. Their aura exudes power, strength, and pure fear. Nearly half the Onari flee, seized by supernatural panic and the more mundane fear that they will be the next to die at the end of a Lunaeri sword. The remaining stand their ground, attempting to stop the machine of death that is the Lunaeri diplomats. They died well, somehow managing to bring down three of the Lunaeri. Their weapons and armor were quickly seized by the Lunaeri, turning them into even deadlier soldiers.

Soon enough the small party of the nine remaining reaches the throne room. The lead Lunaeri casts open the doors, strength amplified to a point where no barricade would be sufficient to stop him.

“We have come for you,” they say simply, striding into the room, bloody weapons leaving lines of Onari blood across the ground as they stride forward. Two pull back bows, dropping two of the guards before they can even hope to attack the Lunaeri, knocking new arrows in a heartbeat.

Nayleth Delegation – Wood Onari Capital
The Nayleth in negotiations with the Queen suddenly hears a voice in her head.
    Kill.
She shrugs it off, continuing to speak to the Queen.
Kill, it says again, more urgently.
    Once again, she ignores it.
    KILL! the voice demands.
And, finally, the Nayleth gives in to the command.

In one fluid motion she leaps across the clearing onto the back of a banth. With the natural strength that a Nayleth possses, amplified by the strange red aura around her, the neck snaps like a fragile twig. She repeats a similar process to another, the aura amplifying her speed far beyond that of most mortal creatures.

By then the other banths had reacted. Leaping towards the Nayleth, she was barely able to defend herself. With only the natural strength and speed of a Nayleth or the blessing, she would have soon been quickly overwhelmed. But with both, she is able to deflect the blows, arms moving at blinding speed to intercept the dozens of paws assaulting her from every side. Somehow, somehow she dodges them, picking off blows before they can connect. But even with the natural speed and blessings of Artoran, a few blows sneak through, hitting her. The Nayleth continues to fight, unphazed, as if she feels no pain. Then her flesh begins to knit back together, healing her almost as fast as blows get through her defenses. But even like this, she would soon be overwhelmed, and her mission would go unfinished.

Then Artoran directs her to the stoned Wood Onari laying around the clearing, somehow oblivious to the attack. With one powerful leap she launches herself out of the ring of banths, landing in a cluster of Wood Onari. In seconds almost a dozen of them had been slashed, blood pouring out from multiple wounds, the mutagen’s effects amplified by the aura, soon taking effect. The Nayleth runs, leading the banths away from the infected Onari. And why would they go after them? They were seemingly dead!

For over two minutes the Nayleth avoids the banths, dodging them, barely escaping, keeping just feet ahead. Then the infected Wood Onari begin to stir. Clothed in the same red aura of battle, the newly born Bloodthieves rush into battle. With even numbers now and the amplified strength of their new form, the banths soon fall, only managing to drag down four of the newborns, who, despite they’re natural strength, speed, and blessing, are stilled stoned, slowing their reactions just enough that the banths were able to take them down.

The enemy dead, the Nayleth circle the queen, blood dripping from their claws.

“We have come for you,” they simply say, striding forward.

    Artoran – The Moon
His work finished, Artoran removes the mask. Their mission was set, his blessing in place long enough to finish the job. His revenge was nowhere near completion, but this was a good start. Akna would pay for insulting his honor, and he’d take all she loved away from her, his way.

Ariving on the Moon, the powers of the Mask begin to fade. “One hour, as promised. Now watch and see what happens to those that break a deal with one of the Blood Line.”

Ack, sorry. Murdok is another character of mine in a completely different game. I was writing a response for the game he's in, and somehow his name stuck.
    Sephyrdiam- Eldritch Tower

    "Interesting. I will return."

Without saying anything more, Sephyrdiam disappears, this time crumbling and fading into dust as plants in winter do... if winter existed on this world.

With a burst of green verdant energy, Sephyrdiam appears before the tower, himself still, but younger, far younger. Sephyrdiam takes a step inside the tower, listening to these supposed whispers and echos, magnified by this colossal divine creation.

After the hospitality we've shown you, you turn and slaughter my daughters? How dare you?! Aridai!

    Yes, your majesty.

The body aging, earthen skinned "Onari" suddenly shifts and warps, a mass of shimmering brownish light leaping from where he stood to the Queen Mother's arm. There the light coalesced into a large shield of metal and stone with veins of glowing crystal shot through it.

A slightly glowing crystalline orb grows out of the ground to surround the Queen Mother, protecting her from all harm. It begins a milky pink color but soon clears to be almost completely transparent. With a quick motion of the shield, similar orbs burst forth from the ground to encase the hostile Lunaeri, though these instead turn a dark, opaque color blotting out all light within. Fortunately for the Lunaeri, the crystal prisons created by the artifact are air permeable, allowing them just enough to breathe but not enough to exert any real effort without suffocating.

The Queen Mother smiles a dark smile as her eyes glint with a look of malice never before seen on her face...

The Vashta Nerada: Wood Onari capital
Eat. Kill. Breed. This was always the extent of the Lonely Angels commands to the colonies of the living shadows across all of creation. But a goddess of endings never fails to notice when the number of endings, and most of those not at their appointed time, starts to increase. Inside the cities of the Onari the shadows had always simply been scavengers, feeding on the vermin that would steal from their creator's mother. They were everywhere, the entire castle inundated, and the living shadows simply bred and fed increasing their numbers beyond count. Its surprising that no one noticed the attackers had grown another shadow...

A Weeping Angel: High Onari Capital
The cocoons of the Lunaeri provided the blind spot the angel needed to enter the throne room. It froze the nanosecond it entered line of sight of someone, but thats all it needed.

    Voimond - Geminus

Voimond emerges from the caves that his Twilight Guardians are born markedly different.

His physical form itself was no different, but there was a marked change about him. Where before he wore tight-fitting clothes of a simple cut, save for the odd metal bracers, now he wore a set of fine armor, all made of that same odd metal.

His helm was a fierce depiction of an owl whose feathers were leaves. It covered all of his face save his eyes. The cuirass itself had an emblem of a Twilight Guardian, balance in one hand, fistful of arrows in the other. The sabotons had a bladed keel splitting the toe, a depiction of Geminus to either side of the keel, one dark and one bright.

On his back rested a quiver full of the starry arrows he favored. Each time he pulled one out, another formed in its place.

"As much as I do not approve of Akna's deranged actions, I do trust her to know of what she speaks when she says that something is coming, something grim. I am as prepared as best I can."

William the Bloody - Earning a Name

Once inside the gate, the poor injured fellow says, "Thanks, fellows. Damage is always best when internal." On the last word, the injured vardr transforms into a great beast the vardr have never encountered before, but which was known as a czar to those who have met Sephyrdiam's great beastmen. A pair of silver gauntlets covered its forelimbs, which were as much paws as hands.

"Time to die." With that, it swipes its left paw at the guards, and a tremendous wave of water crushes them.

The beast stands up on its hind legs and howls out. "You have chosen not to surrender. Now I will remove the walls you think protect you. Tomorrow you will surrender or your homes are next." The beast stalks towards the city gate.

The guards are slammed away by the water. Vardr being tougher than most, two manage to stand as the creature turns away. One limps off, raising the alarm, the other draws his sword. He leaps into the air, landing behind his assailant, and tries to plunge the blade in, headless of danger.

The great beast casually throws its right hand up, and the assailant is blown away by a great wall of water.

An evil grin shows on his face. "Playtime"

Another left swipe, and another great wave of water crashes through the town.

Arriving at the gates, the great beast throws another wave of water to break the gates from within.

Gazardiel winces as his sister's shape changes before his eyes, obvious taken aback. When she offers to sign, he shakes his head and says, "No, that won't be necessary. Just know that I will not be happy if my creations are tampered with." Pausing for a moment to think, he begins to speak again. "You know, together we coul--"

Gazardiel is cut off by feelings of uncontrollable and unexpected anguish from his children before it suddenly stops altogether. Frantically turning his attention to the mortal plane, he watches as several of his children sink to their knees, dead in their prisons, suffocated by the cages of their captor. The Queen Mother of the Onari stands before a mess of carnage with a strange look in her eye.

    Sephyrdiam- Turning a New Leaf
Quote Originally Posted by Rizban View Post

Sephyrdiam walks through the tower, listening to the prayers of those who choose his worship. It was strange... never before had he been able to hear them all so clearly before. It wasn't that his senses were forced, but rather they were clearer than they had been. Although... as clear as they were, it all sounded very quiet. This would not do. As interesting as the tower was and curious to its secret, Sephyrdiam left and returned to Akna, just like he said he would.

"I heard voices, but likely not the same ones you heard. It was my worshippers, and all of them were so clear in my mind. However... I think that I have stayed out of mortal affairs for far too long. My Czar have remained north, and north I believe they shall stay. They like the cold. But I want followers I can act and move through as need be, and I would like you to stay as they are woven to life."

Turning to the conch, directly over the great tree whose branches held within them the seeds of creation, Sephyrdiam let loose his power. A great emerald ball of natural energies pulsated from the deity, falling to the world below. The ball of light sped faster and faster, until it finally reached the tree which would birth his race. The energies surrounded the tree's entirety, swirling and spinning around it, until finally the energy had found its way inside the tree.

All was silent, a quiet hush... then a great rumbling occurred, centered at the tree. It grew to a monumental size, its roots stretching deep and far into the earth, anchoring itself within with strong verdant tendrils. Power moved and flowed within the tree, until that energy coalesced at the seeds which for far too long had hung upon its branches. The seeds were cut, and fell to the earth, splitting open with a burst of nature's power. Four prominent figures stood out from the rest of them, and all of them looked to be female.

One had skin like driftwood, with hair and clothes of woven kelp and seaweed.

Another with skin of a light, natural wood, with hair and clothes of bright green leaves.

Another with softer, cellulose skin, with hair and clothes in a menagerie of summer flowers.

The final was of a rough but durable darkwood, with hair and clothes with leaves of autumnal color.

These four figures looked at themselves, and the green world around them, just as dawn was breaking. The sun's golden light poured over them, and they felt strong. Looking up at the stars through the tree's beautiful branches, these four figures and their other kin of similar shades and coloration all stopped to listen, and hear the voice of their creator.

"Welcome, my Dryads. You shall be my chosen, the living conduits of Nature. The world will know of your grace, and your strength. Here, far to the east of this world, you shall build a green world, a beautiful world, one of peace and prosperity, and yet of great slumbering power. Live, and throw your seeds to the Earth. It is here where you will grow, and rise as a people. My blessings that it will be a fruitful one."

On that day, the Dryads of Sephyrdiam first stepped foot upon the soil, explored, cultivated, and were joyous for their life and the life around them.

    Spoiler
    Show
    AP: 1=3-2 Create Race: Dryads

AP: 0=1-1 Create Subrace: Fourth Dryad

The Dryads are humanoid females all composed of plant material. Inside them are nature spirits similar to the spirits I have already created, but instead of collecting inside the Twilight Forest, they will return to the Father Tree from which they were all created. When they die (which is when they are forcibly killed by external forces, because they are immortal), their body takes root and forms a tree or plant of whatever type they are either in that spot or in a location such a tree/plant would survive in. Their spirit returns to the Father Tree, and is then recycled into a completely new Dryad, in due time.

Water Dryad: Sirens. These Dryads live within the seas and oceans, swimming through the waters and underwater forests of kelp and aqueous plants. They are called Sirens due to their power of the voice, where they can use it as a tool to empower or ensnare.

Air Dryad: Hamadryad. These Dryads are very similar to normal Dryads, but are closer to flowers than trees. Their skin is made of smooth cellulose and not rough bark, making them the most beautiful of the types of Dryads. Their hair and clothes in turn look like the fine petals of flowers, and they too vary according to what kind of flower they are derived from. They all look to be wearing a skirt of petals. This long skirt extends from their back, and they are able to unfold the skirt into a pair of wings with which to fly with. Their special ability is to become insubstantial for a few moments, breaking into a flurry of petals upon the wind. They cannot harm, but nor can they be harmed. They can also move at fast speeds when flying or in their dispersed form.

Fire Dryad: Emberkin. These Dryads are composed of darker woods, with leaves ranging from golden yellow to the deep reds of autumn. They are immune to fire, and (once I gain AP again) will have the power of fire magic at their beck and call. From them the Ironwood plant will be derived, due to their extreme durability and fire-resistant properties.

Earth Dryad: Dryads. These are your more stereotypical Dryads, composed of wood, vines, and leaves. They can range in tree-type, taking on skin and qualities found for Oaks, Spruce, Birch, and any other trees which exist. However, it is only to one tree-type which their external qualities are bound to. Their special ability is to take on a more titanic form, becoming something more of a treant. Not only their size, but their strength increases manyfold.
