Town Hall (Please Read)

Town Hall

It's a large wood and stone building with a pair of grand double doors.
They lead you to are larger room with a series of chairs arranged in a circle

A plaque is on the wall with the door reads.

Welcome to the town. We are a small community of role players. If you are new we recommend you find a mentor and or read our guide. There are a few rules in relation to the town hall please respect them. Stay in character as much as possible. While I understand some of what we hope for this building to achieve is impossible without some full out of character posts. But if you can please stay in character if you can. The hall is a place of peace, there is to be no fighting within the hall. Enjoy your stay.


The inside of the hall is well decorated and a large fire burns at the far end keeping the hall at a constant temperature that is warm and pleasant .

Will come up with guidelines they aren't laws, but they are a good thing to follow as
he just cares about the good of the town


The IC Mayor (Character: Ori Player Mee)
Is a incredibly friendly and helpful Town council member


What a Town council member is:

An elected player who is.
A friendly player who is willing to dedicate extra time to help players.
An experienced role player who can answer questions
And someone who can help you with your roleplaying


What a town council member IS NOT

The Law
All knowing

The Town can be a scary place as can Acronym
This is a program run by some of the more experienced role players to help some of the newer ones. If you are looking for a mentor post a request here and wait. A mentor will come to you.

I've discussed this with my people, and we've decided to try something out for a week.
All town characters, within Town borders, must maintain a power level of six or lower. They must do this by
A) Manifesting as a lower power within town, or B) be affected by the spell casted over the Town that lowers you to power level six. Be warned, we have people watching you! DO NOT say you are a six and still over power your character. This applies to all threads and defies all other magic. If your thread is on Town ground, it is under the effect of the spell.
We 'll test this out over the next week then the Town will vote if it seems to be holding up, and we'll decide whether or not it stays. We will also be implementing a new death system. If your character dies, there are two ways to raise them: A) Wait a week, then they can be rezzed as normal, or B) When your character dies, the character that killed your character receives a "Soul orb", to be able to resurrect your character, before the weekly respond time, someone else must collect the orb, then resurrect you normally. If your character dies of un battle related causes, they may be raised normally. This will be in effect for a week, then it will be voted on!

I was only following orders (Inter-Town Plot)

Okay, this mini-plot of mine features three people controlled by me. The Target, the Assassin, and the Boss.
Basically, a person is going to show up dead, and anybody who wants to can go around looking for who killed that person, and why they did so.
Anybody interested? Tell me here, so I know when to start it.

A Kigg double walks into the Town Hall and sees the application forms for being a council member. "Huh, that looks fun!" The copy grabs one a fills it out.

Why you would be a good council member:
I bring a very unique quality to the table, and I have access to the Mages Guild and all of its uses. I also tend to be a bit excentric about most things, and channeling it toward something useful sounds like a good idea.

"Thanks, well see ya." The Kigg clone melts into a pool of ice cream.

Well..he is a bit eccentric but who knows maybe that is what this town needs

L finds his way into the Town Hall and looks for the mayor.

Sure, the mayor is here. Why not.
Orianna is sitting at a table.

"Er, hello." he greets the elder and heads to Orianna. "Am I correct in my knowledge that you are the current Mayor of The Town."

She nods.
((The mods won't sticky it. They wouldn't sticky the old character thread, if I remember correctly, they'd prefer only sticking things that help this section on a whole, not just the town.
But I could, and probably am, mistaken.))

"Alrighty. Hopefully I am also correct in assuming the mayor might want the support of the Police Station and a few other lawful...establishments on her side."

She shrugs.
"To be honest, my plan isn't to do much. It would be nice, I guess, but . . .
Yes, I guess."

We are glad to have your support. *The elder goes back to the door. Good to know someone is trying to bring law to this town.

"The Police Station is fully willing to back you up as the mayor of our town. Unfortuneately, fundings drying up a bit recently, we would prefer not to lay of any of our current officers."

[Mee]

"Then . . . . I'm sorry, gold is useless, and I don't know of anyone to get the money from."
She shrugs, apologetically.

[Pandaren]

"There are other forms of payment, and goods, land, anything helps."

[Mee]

"Again, I can't do that.
There is no where to get any of that from.
But I can say that the land around the station, if unused, or hasn't been used for a while, feel free, it's yours."

[Pandaren]

This is kind of sad.
"Alrighty, I have to run, hope to see more of both of you around. Tata." he starts walking out.

*The elder waves to him* He seemed a nice enough sort. If a bit eager.

[Mee]

((Yes, it is sad.
If you really want, there's already a plan to get her out of office, if you want to help, go right ahead.))
She shrugs, somewhat apologetically.

"Yeah, a bit."
