Wyrmfather, Battleground

The Wyrmfather appeared behind Sulmur cloaked in his humanoid form. He wore the armor crafted of his scales with his own symbol in the center of the chest. The axe he had crafted from the bones of Sulmurs first creation appeared in his hand and he smashed it forward at Sulmurs skull. "Your son is right. Odd that the Child seems far wiser than the Father. It is time for you to learn your place you arrogant heap of bones."

Somi Warok, With the Wyrmfather

Somi looks to Sulmur, "It's time to do something about your blaspheme against love. You know nothing of love, you are selfish cowardly creature. I am the Great Lord of Love, I will help these others in casting you DOWN!" Somi screams and extends his long metallic claws making a long arc at the torso of Sulmur.

The Contessa, Before the Imp King

The Contessa nodded, "You are worthless, and I told you. I am The Contessa." With that The Contessa went to find someone else who could assist her in her quest.

(I am antecipating the not-happening-eruptions a bit)

The innards of the world churn, but the burning blood is not expelled. No. Something stopped it. It is noticeable, a deity did something, a deity dared to defy the very World of Aeon.

Apocos gathers himself from the dust and the rock of the mountains near the volcano, he would resemble a titanic shard of earth, if not for the searing lava flowing out of his cracks in writhing tendrils of molten flame.

Apocos pays little heed to the battle happening nearby (just less than 200 miles away, not so far really), as he focuses on the dormant volcano.

Grnnn... Who dared...

Burkek, Mt. Da Big Tall Place

Returning from the Battle for the Underground, Burkek was still fuming mad at the fact that the Wyrmfather had stopped the fight prematurely, and decided to that there is no best way to blow off some steam than to go beat up on some Orcs, completely unaware of the big war going on between the Sidhe and the Gnolls.

Reaching into one of the camps, Burkek raises his hammers and rallies the tribe

"ALRIGHT BOYZ, WE IZ GONNA GO BASH SOME OF DA UDDER BOYZ! FOLLOW ME!"

All the Orcs of the tribe bellow thier warcry, as they prepare thier crude weapons to follow thier Gran' Poo-Bah. It's at that moment that Burkek realizes something. He notices from the corner of his eye something weird... two Orcs making love?

"OI! WHAT ARE YUZ TWO DOIN'? ORCS DON'T DO RUMPEY-PUMPEY!"

Walking towards the Orcs, he realizes that they are diffrent. As a matter of fact, Burkek was looking at what was a bunch of Beliski doing... well, what ever Beliski's do to each other. Grabbing one by it's throat Burkek bellows

"YUZ NOT AN ORC! WHAT IZ A NON-ORC DOIN' AT MT. DA BIG TALL PLACE?"

Whoops, Burkek had been missing from the Orcish Tribes for a while... and it did seem like Somi Warok forgot to mention that he placed the Beliski within the Orcs.

The Contessa, Mt. Da Big Tall Place

The Contessa wrapped her whip around Burkek's arm. "Lay your hand off of that Beliski. You have already invoked my wrath, do not beg for more." The Contessa sneered at Burkek. She could see why Somi would look on him with lust. "I am The Contessa, and you attack the sanctified race of my lord. The Lord of Love himself." The Contessa's glow showed, turns out this creature of pure beauty was in fact, cute when she was angry.

The Contessa's nose flared as she and her cheeks flushed with anger. "I'll find a way to kill you creature. Now, either bow to my whim or i'll try to strike you down right here and now!" The Contessa's scarlet eyes glowed like two embers. Her supple bosom bounced slightly as her command yells drifted to Burkek. "Now."

Burkek, Mt. Da Big Tall Place

Burkek looks towards the creature giving him orders, normally Burkek would have thrown the Beliski at the one who dared give an order to Da Gran' Poo-Bah. But this time, things were slightly different due to certain... circumstances.

Dropping the Beliski, Burkek gives the Contessa a grin, and with a swift motion, wraps the whip around his arm firmly around the whip cord, and pulls on it towards him. The Contessa being surprised by his unnatural strength all of a sudden finds herself within Burkek's arm, his face giving her a toothy smile.

"OOOO! Yuz a pretty one! I iz bettin' yuz iz tastin' good too!"

All of a sudden, the Contessa finds herself being slumped over Burkek's shoulder, the green beast easily carrying her off... probably to the closest cooking fire.

The Contessa screamed out and beat on Burkek's back, "Put me DOWN RIGHT NOW!" Beating again and again. "You are calling for my WRATH! YOU OAF!!!" The Contessa screamed and beat again and again.

The Beliski race just watched, and then resumed their prior..activities.

Burkek, barley feeling the Contessa's futile thrashing, stops momentarily and gives her an annoyed look and says

".... stop dat...."

before reaching a nearby cooking pot.

The Contessa didn't stop, infact she got louder. "Lemme go! Lemme go! Lemme go! I am The Contessa of Lust! Lemme go! Lemme go!" The Contessa kicked faster, she pulled out her whip and started to snap it across Burkek's chest. The Contessa screams, flailing her legs and snapping her whip. "You WILL let me go!"

"Ok, if yuz iz insitin'..."

Mumbles Burkek, and he drops her into the cooking pot. The Contessa finds herself floating amongst various rodents and bits of strangely greenish flesh, which makes for a healthy Orcish stew!

Burkek starts to poke the Contessa on her side and says

"Normaly I iz not likin' to be playin' wit my food, but I is finkin' maybe yuz should boil in da stew for a bit, dat way yuz meat will be less fatty!"

The Contessa sat in the boiling pot. And the Water boiled to steam instantly, her anger creating enough heat to evaporate the water. "I WILL NOT BE INSULTED!" The Contessa pulled her whip out and flicked it, wrapping it around Burkek's neck pulling him to make a satisfying 'Thud' against the edge of the cauldron. The Contessa stepped out of the cauldron and stood on Burkek's chest, tightening the whip around his neck. "You will obey me..you little gnat! I am here to force you to destroy my choice of Gods. You being the target! Hear me now, and obey!" The Contessa's words each rained on Burkek like an avalanche "YOU! ARE! NOTHING!"

Seems this had turned into a shouting competition.

"YUZ IZ STUPID OR WAT? I IZ NOT NUFFIN'!"

Gasping for air he yells out

"I... AM... BURKEK!... SON OF MAH HAMMA!"

His roar, catching the Contessa off guard, since she was standing on his chest. Next thing she knows she is lying on Burkek, and they are looking at each other face to face.

All of a sudden, Burkek gives the Contessa a big lick across her face with his massive tongue.

"Hmmmm... I iz finkin' dat I don't need to cook yuz after all!"

The Contessa sneered in disgust, the promptly reared her foot back, landing it right between Burkek's massive thighs. "You disgusting oaf." The Contessa stood up and readied her whip.

*Ouuuuf! What a low blow!*

Burkek rolls around in pain, and all of a sudden, the air around the Contessa starts to burn, as she had finally managed to piss off the volatile Orcish god. All of a sudden howling in rage, Burkek grabs the Contessa by the throat, and ignoring the whipping, he raises her into the air and says

"WHY I OUGHTA...."

And readies his gloved fist to give her a punch in the face. This does not look pretty for the Contessa.

All of a sudden, she hears Burkek... it's as if he is talking to himself... no... he is talking... to Mah Hamma! ? All of a sudden, the Contessa is unceremoniously dumped to the floor.

"Wut? Hmmmmm.... I iz seein'.... OK if yuz sez so..."

Then turning towards the Contessa Burkek tells her

"Normaly, I wuld be bashin' yuz 'ead in, fer kickin' me in my biscuits. But yuz iz lucky... cuz yuz see... my fadder here..." points at Mah Hamma! " iz sayin' dat itz not nice to be hittin' yuz... cuz apparantly yuz iz diffrent from me... cuz yuz have soft boobs... so my fadda iz givin' me anudda idea..."

All of a sudden, Burkek grabs the Contessa from her arms, wrapping his massive fingers around her waist, and picking her up says

"... Scuz me..."

and once again putting her over his shoulders walks over to a rock. Sitting on it, Burkek firmly places one massive hand pinning the squirming Contessa over his lap. He then raises her skirt, and raising his other hand... proceeds to give her a good spanking.

After a few dozen blows, and a red bottom, Burkek gently places the Contessa down (as gently as Burkek can get that is) and pointing a finger to her says

"Now don't yuz go doin' that again!"

The Contessa blushed, then straitened her hair. "Why, you." The Contessa was flabbergasted, she covered her face with her hand and then put her whip up. The Contessa giggled and leaned on Burkek's massive chest. "I think I know what my Lord sees in your strapping self. I think I love you." Hearts float up from The Contessa one getting into the Massive Orc's nose for a second threatening a sneeze.

Giving a smile to the Contessa, Burkek is forced to admit

"Yeah, I iz lovin' me to..." Modesty... thy name is Burkek....

A sly grin grows over his face.

"Oi! I iz havin' an idea! Yuz in da mood for some Rumpey-Pumpey?"

Just because Burkek had forgotten to give the Orcs means to reproduce didn't mean that he didn't have the means himself....

and he did have his tent or as it's called in Orcish, a "Yurt" a stone-throws away... out of pure coincidence of course....

The Contessa blushed, "Oh yes, we shall go to that place, and express our love of the great Orc Lord. Then perhaps we can go together and wipe out a few hundred of your people." The Contessa giggled.

Grabbing the Contessa and rushing towards his Yurt he says

"If yuz want I iz showin' yuz sum trick with Mah Hamma!... AHAHAHAHAHAHAHA YUZ GETZ IT! I IZ MAKIN' A FUNNY! YUZ THOUGHT I YUZ TALKING ABOUT DA REAL MAH HAMMA! WHILE IN FACT I WAS TALKING ABOUT MY %#*$ AHAHAHAHA I AM SO WITTY!"

And reaching into his Yurt, from outside Da Gran' Poo-Bah is heard yelling

"OI! WUT YUZ IDIOTZ DOIN' IN MY YURT!"

A roar is heard as several Orcs are violently thrown out of the Yurt.

"Stupid freeloaderz...now... where wuz we... oh yes!"

During that night, some strange and probably unmentionable sounds were made, which could be heard even in the Netherworld. (Burkek is not exactly the most quiet of people now is he?) What happened within the Yurt? Probably it's best not to describe it...
However...at the end of the night a voice was heard

"By the wayz... whatz yuz name again?"

Skaldi

The god of earth had seen his children rise to their position today, and even had an outsider in their ranks. But one thing hindered their progress: They couldn't reproduce. No children meant that they wouldn't have to take the time to raise a newcomer, but it also meant that they would never gain strength.

Skaldi decided that in order to exert his will upon the knuckles, he'd have to make a mortal race: One that would permanently die, not reincarnate, but reproduce to increase their population. He would craft them out of the stone, but he gave them flesh, life invigorating flesh. They had hair, and blood, and hunger, and when dead would go to become ancestors: Spirits who would live in a statue in their honor and guide their kin for generations to come.

They were to be called Mountain Keeper Dwarves, and were placed not in Brisdur, but in a mountain-city to the west, on a mountain called the Halgrind Peak, called Dindur. Dindur had a mighty trail leading from its frosty peaks to the plains below. Dundir was already crafted by skaldi's loving hands: A mighty forge was still the center of the city, a mighty dome that had four tunnels that lead to four smaller stone domes: One devoted to trade, another to Warriors, another to guest houses, and a last that would hold their gold and loot.

The houses lined the great forge were the home of the dwarves, so that they would be close to work. Their food was the cave critters they could catch with their weapons, spears included now after Mael's gift. They Had Shields, Maces, Spears, and simple chest, helmet, boots, gloves, and shoulderpads, most made of copper, or for the helmets and shoulders, bronze.

They were a hearty folk, their women almost as strong as the men, and the children expected to pull their weight and help their parents. Everyone was equal, but there was also a chivalry of sorts. Women knew that battle was the men's duty, and they were to do the men's job when they were away. However men knew the importance of womenfolk, and did not discriminate a woman who was just as handy at the forge as the household.

They had a highway of sorts that connected to Brisdur, which allowed for trade between the two cities.

And that's the story of the beginning of dwarves, or just their information.

Archaea

With the departure of the 900 strong Xian army, guard patrols had thinned significantly around the Temple of Many Minds. While most people would never take advantage of such a thing, it was an opportunity that a group of Xian mages couldn't resist.

One of the mages went into the throws of spellcasting, activating a teleportation circle they had prepared on the ground. Normally such a simple spell would have easily been defeated by the many wards that should surround the Temple, but most of the clerical scholars had left with the army and the rest were busy tending to the victims of the recent mobs. Another mage cast a second enchantment, veiling all 17 of them from view with a shroud of invisibility. They crept in quietly, at least as quietly as their untrained feet could, and soon found the entire temple to be empty.

"That's strange..." One began to mumble before the others silenced him, reminding him that it could be a simply illusion or perhaps less conventional guards were in the vicinity. They were correct. As if reacting to their presence, a nearby stone statue set into motion. The mages cursed under their breath for forgetting about the construct, the only of it's kind, a gift from their lord.

They all began to waving their arms about and chanting loudly and quickly, all subtlety thrown out the window. Evocation after evocation flew at the golem, fireballs consuming the floor around it but not the golem itself, shards of ice shattering on it's stone skin, lightning bolts crashing into it's chest without a reaction. The golem just kept charging, the spells having no effect. At least until one of the more clever wizards launched a blob of constrictive goo at the golem's feet. It stopped, but certainly temporarily as was evident by the groaning of it's gears as it slowly pulled it's legs free. It decided to take a less personal approach.

The mages ran towards the Tome of Many Minds, trying to reach it before the golem got free. The closest mage cast a simply cantrip as he ran, summoning a spectral hand over the book. He smiled eagerly as the hand closed over the gem encrusted covers. Until a crossbow quarrel dug into his back. No, not one quarrel, at least six were biting wickedly into his flesh. He turned around quickly enough to see the golem feed more bolts into it's arm, the stone plates having rearranged and removed to reveal what looked like a stone bow turned on it's side. He hit the floor with a slump.

"Illid!" He heard another of the mages shriek, although the voice seemed so distant. So distant.

He forced his concentration to hold as he sustained the spectral hand. He summoned all his energy and threw the tome to his companions, their similar cantrip grabbing the flipping book. They stared at him hopefully, although they all knew he was goner.

"Go!" He managed to cough through blood filled teeth. They nodded to him and ran. Illid casting one last enchantment that magically reinforced the closing door behind the fleeing group, preventing the golem from reaching them.

They ran through the portal, sealing it behind them and promising to immortalize the sacrifice of brave Illid by naming whatever secrets they learned in his honor.

*****

Not long after the group left, Illid stood up and spitted the remaining blood from his mouth. He commanded the golem to stop banging on the sealed door, his godly magic far surpassing the limits of the golem's strength. He snapped his fingers and his illusion dissipated. He patted off the dust from his posh attire and combed his purple hair into it's neat style.

*****

The group began their preparations for the strange magicks they had found, one that apparently would provide unlimited knowledge. They took the many rare and powerful magical ingredients required, some being the sole samples in all the Xian lands.

"Aknar Dred'lath Hajon Khan. Illglith Farow Teeyur Sath..." The chant continued long into the night, taking several hours to complete. When the last incantation was finally voiced, the magic circles lit and begun spinning. They gradually picked up speed until their movements were a blur, a massive dome of blinding colors dizzily surrounding them. A sudden explosion of magic within the dome surprised them, their ethereal bodies temporarily separating from their physical counterparts while strange changes underwent them.

Waves of arcane runes and magic washed over their ethereal bodies, imbuing within them knowledge and insight beyond that of any other mortal. A feeling of pure serenity washed over their minds as the magic filled their minds, perpetually entwining with the matter of their minds and infusing their thoughts and memories with substantial longevity.

It all happened in a brief moment, a single flash of light, but to the mages it felt as though they had spent an eternity in paradise. Their ethereal bodies fused back with the physical, their muscles noticeably weaker yet equally nimble. And light. So very light. It wasn't long before they realized that they were levitating off the ground, held aloft by their intwined magics. Their bodies were light indeed! One of the mages conjured a gout of flame, the incantation coming so much easier to him. With but a thought, another summoned a rush of water, filling the crater created by the fabulous sphere of magic. That was when they noticed that the physical changes were slightly more substantial than they previously believed.

They removed their tattered robes in order to inspect their bodies more fully. Their hair had become either stark white or glistening silver, red and black highlights streaming down the strands. The nerves on their meek backs glowed with a silver luminescence, continuing down and around to their stomachs where it ended at their genitalia. But most noticeable was their eyes. Their once vibrant eyes had turned pure black, darker than the deepest cavern. Their pupils were now vibrant colors, crimson reds and glistening golds, to complement their dark orbs.

None of it was as significant as the change in their minds. New ideas born as frequently as orcs, calculations processing in moments, insight coming with every glance. Their minds had so evolved that they no longer needed to make any gestures to cast their spells, other than the aiming of course. With simple thoughts they could summon gouts of flames. With but a short incantation they could conjure lightning. With their new found power they descended upon Archaea, naming themselves the Illith'tahn, or simply Illith, in honor of their fallen comrade.

The Annals- Of Escape, Tamir and the Wiles of Jackals
Of those remaining after the bloody first days of the reign of Yarell the Bladetyrant, some few were gifted users of magic. These few worried Yarell, who believed they might be able to oppose him in some way. He set about systematically destroying those who showed even an inkling of magical talent. Among these was Tamir, a young human. He fled into the Waste, whereupon his pursuers left off the chase, preferring to have the waste do their work for them. They controlled the only water for nights travels, he had need of a staff, and the child had no supplies besides.
“Damn… Too far.” Tamir had been wandering for nights and parts of the day to the west towards the canyon. He knew it existed, in a sort of abstract way, but he couldn’t make it real without seeing it before he died. As he crested a rise, pouch banging against his side, he fell exhausted to the ground.

Tamir woke to something wet on his face. Blood? He opened his eyes to see a jackal staring him in the face. The animal, astounded, jumped back. Groping around for his staff, Tamir forced himself to his knees. He looked for the jackal. “Am I dead?” The jackal scuttled back some more. Ahead he could see what the jackal had been eating. It was a camel, to be sure, brought down by some larger predator that had taken it’s fill and now this jackal was enjoying what was left before the desert swallowed the corpse. He had a bowstring in his pouch, but no arrows. He never was a very good shot to begin with in any case. He descended towards the carcass, warmed by the day’s sun, and tore a piece off. It stank, but it was food. Tamir backed away from the corpse and nodded his head to the jackal on the rise, and raised his staff in salute. He sat down began to chew on the not quite raw, not quite fresh meat, the jackal started to descend the rise towards the carcass and eat once again. “Might as well blow it all to the netherhells…” As Tamir finished and stood up the jackal stopped eating and began to follow. It had a limp he noticed, but it carried itself quickly on it’s other three legs. It’s leg had probably been broken at some point and hadn’t healed properly.

Tamir continued to walk towards what he assumed by the setting of the sun was west. The canyon was there, and he stilled wished to see it before he died but… he turned to look at the jackal. “I suppose if you’re following me around then I’m going to die soon in any case. Tamir turned back east, towards the oasis, with the jackal at his side.

It is of large disagreement among those who record such things as to whether or not the members of the Conclave wore white, black or even grey robes at the time. The most popular and generally accepted version of the tale however is written here:

The Annals-Of Return, and Of Exile
Tamir returned to conclave in the dead of night the next day. He stole a robe from an unoccupied house, and garbed himself in it, blending into the night like a shadow. From there, he went on to steal some food, and gather those few he knew that could actually use magic. Some fool had probably been spreading falsehoods again.

It was widely assumed that Tamir’s continued survival was a work of magic, and that the child was some kind of sorcerer. With the jackal at his side, they left for the canyon. Those few that followed Tamir into exile are not known as individuals, for no records were kept of their departure nor were they remembered by their families, who would have readily given up a child or spouse that could use magic to prevent reprisals.

As Tamir’s Exiles began their long journey through the Waste, they were the first to notice the sky overhead begin to turn grey. The exiles would reach the Great Divide some weeks later, though rumour would spread of their existence, and those brave or foolhardy enough to manage the arduous travel across the waste would find the tiny enclave there on the edge of the canyon. By the time of the Bladetyrant’s fall, no fewer than 150 were recorded to be living in exile. Tamir soon grew tired of the presence of so many others, and began wandering the waste, the only man to ever be able to so without aid.

Gallan

Gallan stepped forward, voice quiet, calm and so very, very dangerous. "You want to kill him, simply so you can satisfy your bloodlust?" His words were as cold as ice, the darkness in his eyes meeting the wild color of Vanen's. "He threatened my people. He and his kin have slain those under my protection, and they will pay."

There was a moment, a moment where the world tensed and time slowed down as Gallan readied Disart and Vanen tightened his grasp on his long spear. Then the Wild Hunter bellowed out a challenge to Carabas, and Gallan stepped back.

"You may have him, wild one. His master is the one who did this - and his master should be the one to pay!"

Mokaan

Mokaan looked up at Alaraxar, and simply sang. A quiet, mournful tune, with a hint of string and bell caught within. As he stood among the dead, looking upon the wild, amoral hunter god, he let out his rage, his fear and his urge to protect at any cost.

The song twisted, writhing like a real creature. And it summoned... something. A hint of clockwork and metal entered the song, as Mokaan ended it and looked upon the creature before him.

Then a new song began - a song of battle and valor! Mokaan clad himself in armor of golden leaf, pulling out his gleaming longsword and spinning it between his fingers. A band of silver adorned his brow, contrasting with his wild straw hair. He grinned.

"Alaraxar, you really don't deserve what's coming to you. Great Belin, I haven't felt this good in ages - I think it was all that pent-up emotion, you know what I mean? Time to let it all out!"

Alaraxar

"I know... Vyelfraz, heel!" His exarch was at his side already, swept up in the divine swath of grasping arms that had aided Belial in his divine assault. Alaraxar exhaled and his endless appendages and bodily features folded together like fine cloth. What was left resembled a larger, more dominant sort of gnoll.

Black ooze seeped from his eyes and claws. And soon after did Vyelfraz begin to weep such bleak colors as well. "Promise me... that you'll relish every moment of this. Let me help you..." He grabbed his upper and lower jaws and unhinged them like a snake. Something ballooned outward from his gullet and it slowly mutated into a scaled humanoid head. Several tides of color washed over it as the textures blended and soon it took on a mimicry of Awsh.

All around Alaraxar his gnolls dissolved into black writhing masses. But only moments later did they rise up once more in the guise of sidhe. As they laughed, a silent droning noise mixed with the howl of the wind and the dying. These impostors turned upon their stunned counterparts and their very touch melted away flesh and bone.

"Why do I enjoy this... so... much?" The Hunter cackled with inhuman laughter that flowed from tiny smiling mouths that suddenly dotted his form.

And then, just as Sulmur is hit by the Wyrmfather, suddenly Belial jabs inside an exposed point in with his staff. Oh, but it seems to have missed, as he is not hit?

A quick motion, and the leverage causes him to lose grip of his Scythe.

"Perfection. There are two problems. I hate the entire concept of it. If you're perfect, then where exactly are you supposed to go? Once you're perfect, there's no more you can advance. Perfection is death. So it's fitting that you, the dead thing are such a proponent of it. If you can convince enough people to believe in it, you can get a whole bunch of people seeking to empty themselves, and fall under your damnation.

The other problem, is that you are far from perfect. After all, I just disarmed you."

Belial crushes down with heaven smasher, into Sulmur's eye socket. Fire begins pouring out.

"Painful, isn't it? Heaven Smasher has several unique qualities. Not only is it super dense, something intimately familiar to you, but because of that, it emits a tremendous amount of heat. It should simply melt away, but by my will it does not. You know about will? Most powerful force in the universe. Through will, one does not simply have to accept the inevitable. Like a flame that burns fate. That's what you're feeling right now. The flames of freedom. And it's a dangerous fire. One that can burn up everything. It is understandable that you fear it."

He laughs as the flames continue to burn, "Oh that's right! How could I forget? You don't admit you're afraid! You're scary, unsurmountable, invincible death! The inevitable! Inescapable! The one all see at the end, and cower before. Oh mighty Sulmur! Grant us mercy!"

Belial stomps on Sulmur's rib cage, crushing several of them apart.

"I fail to comprehend what is so intimidating about you. Sharp angles and images of life once are all I see. But I guess things stop being scary once you understand them."

Belial takes Sulmur's scythe, and smashes it through the other rib cage, impaling him to the ground.

"Consider yourself most fortuitous that you attacked me at that moment, and not a few later. Otherwise you may have lost something. " and with a chuckle, "You still might before this day is done. Or maybe that will happen at a later date."

Belial turns his back, and walks towards a better vantage point from which to watch the rest of the battle.

Alesarian, The birth of a god.

In a small village in the middle of a large forest stands an wooden alter. The alter is carved to resemble a large humanoid with bulged eyes, a large smile, and large set of wings. A well made work of art carved by the best of the villages wood carvers. This idol is the site of worship of the entire village and many of the smaller villages in the area. A rather peaceful site, this alter has seen the passing and goings of many a year and many families asking for blessings or such.

The people were used to peace and never really had to defend there village. But still the elders knew that one day the time would come where they had to. So they kept men trained in the fighting arts, mainly the hunters that would hunt the game in the area, but a few strong youths also volunteered to defend the village. None would expect to see the day that they would need such skills. But such days always come sooner then anyone would expect. That day came today, just after dusk, starting with the howls of what sounded like the forest animals. But they soon found out it was more. The watchmen didn't have a chance, killed before they could even scream. What followed after was horrific. The screams started at the north end of the village, and not long after they started a small group of solders rushed to discover what happened. Only to be met with the face of death.

Back at the statue, the village was in an uproar. The village elders were gathered around the idol praying for help from whatever gods they worshiped. "Oh mighty gods, save us from that which would destroy us" they asked. But their prayers were in vain. The gods wouldn't hear them. They would never hear a tiny village of 50 insignificant creatures, there were more pressing matters for the gods to worry about. But they kept praying, out of faith or desperation. Has the screams and sounds of battle got closer and closer more people gathered around the idol. The quiet prays of the elders turned into crys for help "Please help us gods!" "Please save us", then into a the screams of a crowd begging for a saviour "Please save us from the monster" "Gods! Why won't you come!". But it seems none would come.

But fate has a way of changing the outcome of even the most obvious endings, and little did anyone know what lay 200 feet beneath the idol...

...

Music, thats what he hear when his essence first came alive, the most beautiful sound he's ever heard. So sweet, so magical in fact that he felt it pull at his essence and he started to drift away. But has fast has the music started, it was drowned out by screams of pain, so loud that nothing could be heard above it. Though he was 200 feet under the ground, the crys for help from the village above him sounded like they were right next to him. He felt the pain of the people, felt their need for help, felt them die. So great this feeling of need was that it pulled and tugged at his very essence so much stronger then the music of the song did. Softly at first, matching the strength of the music, but has the crys got louder, the pull got stronger. Up he would go, getting closer and closer to the surface, closer to the crys and the sound of battle. Has he neared the surface the sounds of battle stopped. The soldiers could only hold on so long before they were killed. Then the screams instantly got louder has the beasts tore into the last of the villagers in the north and started heading to the center, to the idol. But these last screams were all it took. With one final tug the lost essence was pulled into the wooden idol. When he came to rest in it, he found he was able to move.

"AAAARRRRRRGGGGHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!" He yelled, more the sound of hundred year old wood coming to life then his own voice. Has he stood the villagers scattered, scared by this unexpected event they ran off and hid inside the surrounding huts. Just has he came to his feet the beasts came into view. About 15 of them, horrible creatures, half human/ half animal. They were covered in the blood of the villagers and were rushing to the idol in hopes of more killing. Unaware of the now standing wooden idol.

"I am Alesarian, protector of the mortal races! These children are under my protection now. Stop now and return to your home and you will live to see another day" he commanded, his voice booming so loud that some of the weaker creatures fell to there knees holding their ears. But stop they did, not out of fear, but out of uncertainty. Not knowing what to do they would reverted to instincts, so they charged after the wooden god.

Not seconds after they started the charge he reacted, a wooden spear appeared in his hand and he threw it with all his might at the creatures. Has the spear approached the charging creatures it split in half, first once, then again, then again, multiple times in the 2 seconds. Soon 32 spears were spread across a 20 foot area and they all crashed into the creatures. 12 out of the 15 monsters fell instantly, the other 3 stopped, surprised at this attack. But the wooden spears had little effect on the monsters, being used to the spears of the villagers they began to stand up. Shrugging off the pain of the spears lodges inside of them they started to charge the god again, laughing this time at the weak attack. But for some reason the god wasn't worried. Then Alesarian whispered a few words and no sooner then the new attack started again it was stopped again.

This time a brilliant light engulfed the spears. Over the span of a few seconds the shafts of the spears turned into glowing white rods and quickly retracted into the spearheads that were lodged into the monsters. When the shafts were fully retracted there was a faint "click" and all the spearheads instantly shattered into hundreds of exploding white shards that tore through skin and bone alike, decimating the creatures instantly. Surprised by the new attack the 2 creatures that were still alive ran off has fast has they could to get away.

Then all was quiet, except the sound of a burning hut that caught fire from an exploding shard. He didn't chase the creatures, he just stood there a few minutes and waited. Has he did the villagers started coming out of the huts. "Do not worry children, I am Alesarian, your protector, these creatures will not harm you this day" With that the rest of the villagers came out at there was celebrating everywhere. Has Alesarian looked at the villagers he was deep in thought. Finally he said "Children, though you face many hardships, these creatures will no longer be one. Your villages will come under my protection. Though you cannot be my children, you will have that of me. Call for me and I will come" With those final words he spread his mighty wooden wings and took off into the air.

Has he reached the clouds he heard it again and felt its pull once more. The music rang softly in his ears again. This time curiosity took over instead of the need to protect. Enough curiosity that he let the musics magic take him where it wanted and he slowly disappeared...

Has quickly has he vanished, he reappeared. This time in the midst of a few beings he's never seen before. He looks around for a second and sees one of the beings looking at him. The being was clad in armor of golden leaf and was spinning a gleaming long sword and between his fingers. A band of silver adorned his brow, contrasting with his wild straw hair. It was also smiling has Alesarian looked at him.

Then the creature spoke "Alaraxar, you really don't deserve what's coming to you. Great Belin, I haven't felt this good in ages - I think it was all that pent-up emotion, you know what I mean? Time to let it all out!"

Seconds later Alesarian felt it. So powerful it knocked him to his knees. Has he looked up he saw it. Hundreds of dead creatures everywhere. The stench assaulted his nose while the crys of the injured and nearly dead assaulted his ears, almost has much has the pain of the creatures assaulted his body. Has he slowly stood and regained his composure he spoke.

"Who has summoned me to this... this nightmare?"

Burkek, Mt. Da Big Tall Place

Something was amiss within the Orcish mountains. Da Gran' Poo-Bah had rallied all of the Orcish tribes to him, but he had given specific orders that no Orc would go bashing each other... at least until Burkek had finished speaking to his people. Yet even the strict warnings of the Orc god could not stop the Orcs from different tribes to throw growls and threats at each other while they waited.

Just as about the thousands of Orcs were getting edgy, and another fight was about to erupt, a loud roar was heard which could be heard kilometres away.

"OI! I TOLD YUZ DAT DERE WOULD BE NO FIGHTIN' UNTILL I SED SO!"

When the Gran' Poo-Bah speaks, Orcs listen. Burkek emerges from his yurt, grinning like a mad-man with the Contessa walking confidently by his side. Burkek's exposed upper torso looked like he was given a massage with a rake, while the Contessa herself seemed none worse for the wear.

"NOW DEN DAT YUZ LOUTZ FINALY SHUT UP, I IZ GUNNA ANNOUNCE SUM IMPORTANT NEWZ FOR ALL DA ORCZ!"

He pushes the Contessa in front of him, and places both of his hands on her shoulders, and continues

"DIS HERE... IZ MY MIZZUZ! AND SHE IZ MINE! YUZ GETZ IT? AND SINCE SHE IS DA MIZZUZ OF DA GRAN' POO-BAH OF DA ORCZ, IT WULD MEAN DAT SHE IZ DEZERVIN' DA BEST! DOEZN'T IT?"

With that thousands of Orcs start nodding in approval, seems that they agreed with Burkek's logic... that and the fact that he personally disposed the hundreds who shook their head in disagreement, by bashing those very heads in.

"GOOD! NOW DEN! I IZ NOW DECLARING DAT MY MIZZUZ WILL BE DA ORC QUEEN!"

Burkek waits to hear the cheers and roars of his Orcs but only finds them staring at him with disbelief.

"WUT?" Bellows Burkek. Finally an Orc finds the courage to step up and point out the obvious problem.

"Ummm... Gran' Poo-Bah... yuz mizzuz iz not an Orc... dere iz so such fink as an Orc woman... "

The Orc's words are cut short as Burkek punches it's head clean off of his shoulders

"YUZ IZ STUPID OR WHAT! IF DERE WUZ NO ORCISH WOMEN WULD I BE DOIN' DIZ?"

With that he grabs the Contessa and gives her a long slurping kiss.

(AP2= 3-1 Transfer 1 AP to Somi Warok... indirectly of course)

"WELL!"

"Umm... Gran' Poo-Bah... just cuz yuz iz kizzin' yuz mizzuz don't go makin' her any more Orcy dan she wuz before yuz iz Kizzin' her..." naturaly it wasn't long before that Orc noticed that his head was sent flying clear off of it neck.

"ALRIGHT DEN YUZ LOUTZ! I IZ DA BIGGEZT ORC... RIGHT? GOOD... NOW DEN... IF I IZ SAYIN' DAT MY MIZZUZ IZ DA ORC QUEEN, DEN DAT MEANZ DAT SHE IZ AN ORC... RIGHT? BUT IF YUZ IZ STILL SAYIN' DAT SHE IZ NOT AN ORC... DEN DAT MEANZ DAT SHE IZ GONNA PROOVE DAT SHE IZ AN ORC... DA ORCY WAY!"

With that he bellows a warcry and rushes into the thousands of Orcs, sending dozens of them flying into the air as he rushes into the center of the crowd. Naturally, this causes for another massive slaughter to begin in earnest.

In the mean while several Orcs rush towards the Contessa, blood rage in their eyes. Perhaps this is a chance for her to prove her undeniable Orcyness?

"Looks like another one. There sure are a lot of deities showing up these days."

He cracks his neck, "You strong? I hope you are. I could use some good enemies. You believe in freedom? I could use some good friends. And no reason you can't be both either."

Pausing a moment, "Who did summon you anyways, and why? I don't know anything about you. Then again, I suppose I don't know everything. Maybe you're an ancient terrible destroyer sent from beyond to destroy everything. If so, can you teach me? And not destroy everything.

...Nah. You seem new.

Well whatever. I need to go deal with my followers, and enact my various schemes. Feel free to kick boney over there a couple times if you get frustrated about anything. It's great stress relief and he totally deserves it."

Belial points at Sulmur, a skeletal figure with a scythe, jammed through one rib cage, and the other broken and smashed up. One of his eye sockets seems cracked and burned. Something must have done a real number on him.

Ripping off a finger, he tosses it at Alaraxar

"If you need my help, use that to summon me. Like I said, I've got stuff to do. I could pick a few more fights of course, but I'm neglecting my people enough as is."

Island of regrets
Upon his return, Belial finds several huts have gone up, and ritual symbols everywhere.

"Oh good. You didn't kill them all."

"Nope! I wanted to, but the way I see it, if I let them grow first, I can kill more of them later...

And you need them for your own terrible plans of world domination!"

"Please tell me why I want to dominate this useless wet thing?"

"Umm... I just assumed."

"Don't kill them all now just because things didn't turn out like how you thought they would. They still have a right to live."

"That's another thing. I'm having a bit of trouble with the concept of "right to live"."

"It's not a very hard concept. Everything, EVERYTHING has a right to exist. Not surprising you don't get it. You don't have much regard for lifes of others do you?"

"Nope. All flesh is wrong. It must all be cleansed."

"Don't set my people on fire."

"Fine. Oh, and some people you wanted to talk to showed up awhile back. They're off doing some science or something."

"Oh good. I'll get to that in a moment..."

THACK, a nearby Zombie hits an invisible wall. And then proceeds to keep walking into it.

"Ah. A barrier against Zombies. That's a useful little thing. Although more of a temporary measure than anything."

"He's back! Oh thank you! We thought we were all doomed! Between the ghosts and zombies. We thought we'd all be killed!"

"Yeah, about that..." Another Munok comes out of a tent.

"I think I've got a few ideas on how to control the Zombies."

"Oh, that is good. You can set them against each other. Or your enemies."

"Enemies? We have enemies?"

"Mostly just those annoying Mortivores. If you kill any of those, make sure to turn them into Zombies too."

"...Turn them into Zombies?"

"Well yeah, if you can control the Zombies, you can make them too can't you?"

"... I've only got ideas sir. I can't actually control them."

Belial sighs, "Alright, guess we're going to have to do some experiments then." Belial heads over to the Zombie, bumping against the barrier, tosses him over the barrier, and waves his hand.

Although it's still moaning and groaning, it doesn't seem to be able to move.

"You do... whatever it is... you think you can do. If things go bad, just set it on fire. They don't really like fire."

A bone catches on fire, and Belial leaps off into the air. Looking for Jin. That "Science" comment could hardly be anyone but. Although to his knowledge there was only one with some serious Dissociative Identity Disorder. Maybe that's what the ghost was referring too when using plurals.
