@Bayar:
Personally I think Sorcerers are slightly better than wizards. in a fight a wizard will win most of the time.
but stick them in identical dungeons and the sorcerer is going to do better cuz he can pick and choose his spells when he needs them.
Lying mixes the two, Sorcerer for his all/multi-purpose spells, Wizard for his more situational or heavy duty spells.
Due to some trouble with Rand's guy, I won't be able to finish the comic til tomorrow.
Also, is there a reason that we have a wiki, but no real web site for ABR? It would make things easier on the readers, the server, and on us.
One more thing: On a separate forum, two awesome guys each drew a pic of my character. This one, and this one.

Sure, if the player knows what monsters are going to be in the dungeon, and he is making a new character, yes he can pick his spells. Otherwise he is stuck with the spells that he got when he created his character. Wizards ? They just choose their spells according to the situation. And have a broader list of spells that they can prepare.

Actually there are more Sorcerer-only Sor/Wiz spells than there are Wizard-only Sor/Wiz spells.
And the artificier can use any spell in any list. Your point ?
I was reffering to the fact that wizards can have a ****load of spells in spellbooks to prepare and cast depending on the current situation. Sorcerers on the other hand need to plan out from level 1 as they can only change spells at even number of levels. Well, if you use the retraining option from PHB2, then they can change their list with added efficiency, but still, you need to know what you are doing.

Still, if they know nothing about the dungeon (as usually) the sorcerer can do whatever his spells let him (we have to swim down 300 feet's to survive, easy. The pool is acidic, easier) While wizards must prepare per day (acid! I haven't prepared anything against that)So sorcerers are ore flexible, but still limited as you said, I think that's what he meant.

K. Then, what are the odds that a sorcerer has both a spell that lets him swim good and a spell that protects him from acid. Sure, protection from energy is a good option and so is Alter self.
This is what I cant comprehend.

Maybe he has maybe not but he can use whatever spell he has when he want, while the wizard with all his spells has to choose few for the day (the examples was for showing that no matter which spells the wizard has he has to prepare them and might end with all the right spells but none of them prepared)

Is it hard to prepare a spell while resting before setting out into the unknown? You know, the cleric/druid/whatever divine character you have that probably buffs more than heals needs to recover his spells too.
and Wizards need to read this: http://brilliantgameologists.com/boa...hp?topic=394.0 + TLN's guide to being Batman (which got purged in the last purging section, but I might archive the saved pages of the forum topic and upload it for you)

I think that by the time of Future Imperfect, Randomizer should be captured by the Plotgoblins and lose much of his powers. He's too powerful for this plot.
... And Lying... And Nameless... And some other over powered magical beings.

All I said was that sorcerers can do what they want (just having the spell is enough) while a wizard might have prepared spells for another situation (he could have prepared spells for the big battle ahead but got trapped and forgot to prepare spells for it, while the sorcerer don't need to think forward) but let's stop the discussion, it leads nowhere and both are good anyway.

Because it would cost money, unless we get one one something like Smackjeeves. But wouldn't that kinda ruin the point of ABR? We've ruind it enough as it is.
So, I just got a trial of Adobe Illustrator, and I can't seem to get my templates to work with it. Please advise.
e: It's also a lot less intuitive than Inkscape.
You just have to save your templates in SVG, and open the file with Illustrator. Normally, it should work.
The pen tool and the various shapes tools (rectangle tool, ellipse tool, etc) are the only tools you need when you start. If you don't see the tool window, just go in Windows - Tools. This window contains almost everything that you need for now. In the Stroke window, you can change your line thickness and whether the lines and shapes end in a rounded point or not.

That's what I did. But all my templates appear to have fused into one path, which is a load of different paths at the same time. As in, I try to move one, and I move them all by mistake. And many of the line thicknesses are completely wrong.
Meh...too busy today, I propably draw something tomorrow..maybe I even finish my own banner in meanwhile, who knows.
To the plot:
I was wondering how to join in and somewhere here is writen, that the best way how to join without ruining the plot is to ask there, so...how about:
1. Mad mask mentioned something about "going through the air", well..I dont see any entrace, but this fox girl could find one
2. Q, Q and Rand meet her inside, its natural that you can find some random heroes beating random vilians for their own motivations...and lack of knowledge about these vilians could bring a cute girl in really, Really weird situations..
3. Some random fox-girl apear out of nowhere and says "Hi! I am going to beat shades too!!!" (Not the best option, but I can work with that, in the end I am still newbie, arent I?)
4. Join another plot? Well, didnt thought of that yet...

Coments? suggestions? Else?
Soo cute
I suggest you write a backstory for FI or do like Beans and being there before the shades (living there or travel trough) and was "disturbed" by them (fighting them or fleeing) and meet the others and join us to get revenge or something. But your ideas are good too
