"The Faild" is even better then "FAIL". It doesn't sound official that way.
It actually sounds like a nick name sort of thing.

Why is there a vote for using FAIL ? I thought we all agreed to make it the name of a fictional organisation closely modelled on the resistance in some kind of telescreen series.

Which is occasionally used by the public when they refer to ALF, yes.

But Nameless and others have are dead set against using the name at all, and so have called a vote.

We're not getting rid of ALF, that's still the name of the Resistance.
We're voting on whether to include someone's idea of having a fictional counterpart to ALF, called FAIL.

I thought the vote was about whether people in real life called ALF FAIL because of a TV show (doesn't sound likely), not whether the show had a joke name. You could call the one in the show IKLEBOOGYCKINS and it wouldn't really matter.

@Tiff: Rain would really suck up here. The snowbanks are nearly a meter and a half high, and last time it rained everything turned to ice.

The vote is between using FAIL as a euphemism for ALF because of a TV show, and not having FAIL in ABR at all. That's what Nameless proposed, and we went along with it.

So why can't we just keep it in the TV show and not have normal people call ALF FAIL. Why is it either "No FAIL at all" or "Citizens call ALF FAIL". Where is the mid ground?

Well, considering that the original idea was "Everyone calls ALF FAIL as a joke", this is the mid-ground. And this vote was Nameless's suggestion, he's trying to force people who don't want FAIL in common use into his "kick it out for good" camp.

I'm remaking my comic so dn't look at me. I say we vote/decide who makes the next comic where the flying team reach the shades and battle them, then who shall make the final comic.

No offence, but that's quite a stupid idea. I know ABR has changed a lot since the first ever thread but chosing who makes every single comic is just getting silly.

Also, I'm fed up with people saying the plots going too slow or someone should make a comic because if your that fussed about it why don't you just make one yourself.
