Maybe in this world all races mature at the same rate. Otherwise Silena would act like a 4 year old.

It's perfectly plausible that wherever Falgorn comes from, there is a sub-species of elf the has the lifespan of a human.

It can be anything you want.

My comic. My rules. The maturity rate of all races is the same as humans. If not, I will decide it. Cameos are also accepted! Apply now, and your character may involve the plot!

OK, I dunno what ABR's rules are, but do you have to use standard elves and standard rules? If not, I'd just say that in this setting, elves mature much closer to the rate of humans. That's how it goes in my homebrew world.

(I kept reading after this post and I see other people agree with me. Indeed, go with your own rules as long as they make sense and are consistent.

We're pretty lax on game rules, but I'm pretty sure we've got it fairly set that races mature at different rates.

How critical... but then, Silena is a half-elf. And what if, bear with me here, he's not from the planet. It is possible. Chances are slim, true, but it is possible. And this comic wasn't made for the setting, I'll try to keep it in boundaries, though. Heck, I didn't even make it for the fans, if there are any.

In Avbaroy, High Elves mature at the same rate as those of D&D (thanks to magical intervention), but Wood, Wild and Grey Elves mature at the same rate as humans.

ABR standard world (Avbaroy) doesn't use any role-playing rules, and we have our own setting. See the wiki.
